IRCTC launches Ashta Jyotirlinga tour from Margao

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (
IRCTC
) announced the launch of a special Ashta Jyotirlinga pilgrimage tour aboard the Bharat Gaurav train, departing Margao on Aug 5.
The package, priced from Rs 23,880 per person, offers hassle-free access to the Jyotirlinga temples during the Shravan month. The tour caters to families, groups, and solo travellers.
'Our goal is to make travel more accessible and enjoyable, ensuring every trip is memorable,' said Gaurav Jha, group general manager of IRCTC's west zone. The package includes train travel in mixed-composition coaches with sleeper and AC tiers, off-board excursions by bus, hotel accommodation, meals, tour guides, and travel insurance.
The Bharat Gaurav trains feature Indian cultural motifs, infotainment systems, CCTV cameras, and well-equipped pantry cars, accommodating 600-700 passengers.
