Legendary I'm A Celeb winner and iconic TV star who lasted 72 HOURS on the 'brink of All Stars comeback' as second season heads to South Africa

A legendary I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner and iconic TV star who lasted 72 hours are reportedly on the 'brink of an All Stars comeback' as the second season heads to South Africa. And that is none other than Jungle King Harry Redknapp and Gemma Collins, according to The Sun. The popular former Spurs boss, 78, is said to be set for another huge pay after reportedly earning £500,000 on 2018's main series. Meanwhile, Gemma is also on the verge of landing a mega-deal - reputed to be over £150,000 - despite quitting 2014's main show after just three days. A source told the publication: 'It's going to be a real coup. 'Harry is TV gold and was first on the list of wannabe celebrity contestants.' MailOnline has contacted Gemma's and Harry's representative and ITV for comment. All Stars will be filmed this autumn and go out in the New Year. Harry is said to be the most popular contestant to ever have appeared on the series. A peak audience of 12.1million viewers tuned in to watch Harry be crowned the King of the Jungle on the finale, capping off weeks of record-breaking numbers for ITV's 16-year-old ratings juggernaut. Bosses at ITV revealed that the finale gave one of the show its highest peak audience of the series, with average viewing numbers of 10.9million. Based on seven-day consolidated data, the series averaged 12.2 million viewers, making it the highest rating series in the show's history. Speaking after his win, Harry said: 'I'm amazed I survived three weeks to be honest with you. 'When I first came in, I looked and I thought, "Oh my God, I'm in trouble here." I looked at the group and I thought, they don't really know or are interested in anything I'm interested in. 'I thought it's going to be a hard couple of weeks but they just dragged me through it, every one of them. 'They're the most lovely people I've ever met, the whole group. There wasn't one person I could ever say one single bad word about. They were amazing. 'Without them, I would never have survived. They really have helped me. They pulled me up hills, they've dragged me through the water. 'They've been pushing me; "C'mon Harry get up, you can do it".' Meanwhile, Gemma headed Down Under back in 2014, but only lasted in the jungle for three days before jetting back to the UK. Following her abrupt exit over a decade ago, Gemma admitted she would be willing to give the jungle another go if given the chance. She told the Sun in 2015: 'Everything would be different a second time. I'd be like Lara Croft and Angelina Jolie rolled into one, and I'd do the tasks. 'I'm not scared of nothing. Hopefully one day the producers may give me another chance.' And the reality star has previously vowed to stay until the end, telling the Mirror ahead of her jungle adventure: 'I think that I'm going to find it extremely tough; like every time I think about it, I feel sick, actually. 'It's going to be difficult for me, but, you know, no one takes the GC down. Yeah, every time I feel down, I'm just going to take a deep breath, and go, "You can do this. You can do it." That's what I'm going in with, that mindset. Nothing can kill me.' During her appearance on the show, the GC was seen complaining over the lack of food and far-from plush environment, leading many fans to suggest this was the reason she left.

Beloved I'm A Celeb winner and TV star who lasted just THREE DAYS on brink of signing for All Stars

JUNGLE King Harry Redknapp is on the brink of signing for I'm A Celebrity All Stars. The popular former Spurs boss, 78, is set for another monster pay day after reportedly earning £500,000 on 2018's main series. 5 5 Gemma Collins is also on the verge of landing a mega-deal — reputed to be over £150,000 — to appear in the South Africa-based series, despite quitting 2014's main show after just three days. All Stars will be filmed this autumn and go out in the New Year. A source said: 'It's going to be a real coup. " Harry is TV gold and was first on the list of wannabe celebrity contestants.' Harry's fee will have to go some to match Coleen Rooney (2024) and Nigel Farage (2023), who were said to have each earned £1.5million by appearing on the main series. We're very excited about bringing back campmates from over the years in a brand-new setting in South Africa. Source Almost 11 million tuned in live in 2018 to see Harry, dubbed Hazza in the Oz camp, become the show's oldest winner at 71. He had viewers in bits as he told how being wed to Sandra was like 'winning the lottery'. She was there to meet him on the bridge as he celebrated his prize. Other classic moments saw Harry learn street slang from Fleur East and Malique Thompson-Dwyer, have his leg massaged by Noel Edmonds, and get toilet cleaning duty after revealing he had no sense of smell. Enormous entertainment value Harry, dad to football pundit Jamie and model Mark, also revealed his great love for jam roly poly, and assumed bosses secretly fed the contestants bacon rolls to keep them going. Meanwhile, ITV executives have not been put off by Gemma, 44, walking out early in 2014 after complaining about the lack of a proper toilet and sparse food. They are determined to land her as they believe she provides enormous entertainment value. All Stars last aired in 2023 when singer Myleene Klass won and it was filmed in South Africa's Kruger National Park. Jamie Redknapp fears he would never 'live up to' dad Harry on I'm A Celeb A source said: 'That was one of the biggest entertainment shows of the year averaging 5.2million views across its consecutive weeknight run. "We're very excited about bringing back campmates from over the years in a brand-new setting in South Africa.' Harry's spokesman said: 'This is speculation.' We approached Gemma's agent for comment. ITV declined to comment. 5 5

The Epping ‘protests' make me ashamed to admit I'm from Essex

I spent a long time being too embarrassed to admit I was from Essex. When I went to university, I used to tell people I was from 'north-east London', rather than admit to the county of my birth. It feels silly to admit it, now, but I felt distinctly haunted by the typical 'Essex girl' tropes, even at 18. When I met my then-boyfriend's family in Bristol, I still remember that the first thing his dad said was to tease me by asking if I'd driven down the M4 in a clapped out Ford Fiesta. White stilettos, orange fake tan and reality TV show The Only Way Is Essex (or 'TOWIE', to those in the know – and of course I went to school with half of the cast); we've long been the butt of the nation's jokes, both on and off screen. Our unofficial royals are Gemma Collins and Joey Essex. Need I say more? Thankfully, I grew out of that childish shame that leads you to reject where you come from – when people ask me where I'm from, I say 'Essex' again. Except that right now, I'm seriously considering going back in the closet. That's because when I woke to news that 'protests' had broken out in Epping – the place I used to go 'out out' as a teen, the place I still meet old schoolfriends in for lunch, the place my relatives still live in – I felt deeply, deeply ashamed. Even more so when footage showed hordes of people clashing with police outside a hotel believed to be housing asylum seekers. Essex Police said missiles were thrown at officers and the hotel, police vans and vehicles smashed, the high street brought to a standstill and one officer injured, while eight officers in total were assaulted – in what the force described as 'extreme hostility from a large number of individuals'. Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Hooper described it as 'selfish criminal behaviour' perpetuated by 'a mindless minority who don't give a damn about the hardworking, good people of Epping'. He added: 'Help us get them, because the people of Essex are proud people and these streets are ours.' He's right. To my mind, these 'protests' showcase the very worst of Essex. The worst of Britain, full-stop. Depressingly, it's not even an isolated incident. The first pathetic 'protest' was reportedly planned in advance and took place on Sunday night, followed by further disruption on Thursday. The excuse? A 38-year-old resident there was accused, last week, of sexual assault. Now, I have no idea about the alleged sexual assault case involving Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, who appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court earlier in the day. I don't know the details, or the outcome. Neither do these 'protesters'. But what I do know is that their behaviour helps no-one – least of all the alleged victim. And what almost amuses me (except that it's... not funny) is that I wrote only yesterday about the number of sexual assaults and incidents of harassment myself and my friends have experienced on the Tube – from being followed by 'burping, farting men' to catcalls, groping and obscene gestures. But what if I also repeat the sad fact that in almost every incident of male to female violence on public transport, not a single person steps in to help us – or to report it happening? How do people explain themselves for this utter failure to call out harassment when it's actually happening right in front of them – to anyone, by anyone? I took an unsavoury trawl through a local Facebook group, to see how people were reacting to the protests, but the ignorance was shocking. Some attempted to excuse the behaviour in the name of 'protecting kids'; while many blamed the government. Thankfully, there were also voices pointing out that thuggery isn't welcome in the area. 'So people not from Epping have gone to Epping to cause trouble', one said. Another called it 'disgusting, attacking the police' – and one long-term resident said this is 'not the Epping l used to know and come from – this is NOT a protest, it's DISGRACEFUL behaviour.' Hear, hear. This is not the Essex I know, believe in – or want to be associated with. If anyone asks, I'm from north-east London, again...

Gemma Collins reveals she is flogging her 'worn once' clothes on Vinted after losing two stone on weight loss jab Mounjaro

Gemma Collins has revealed she is flogging her 'worn once' clothes on Vinted after losing two stone on Mounjaro. The TOWIE alum, 44, has been incredibly open about losing weight on the loss jab after being unable to turn over in bed. Gemma has long struggled with her weight and previously admitted she thought she would die after a gastric bypass surgery that left her in deep pain. And after dropping two dress sizes, Gemma is now selling her clothes on resale site Vinted, as she advertised her page on her Instagram Story on Monday. She posted a snap of a stunning gold gown and penned on top: 'All my pre-loved outfits worn once!! It'sGemmaCollin's.' Over on her Vinted page, the TV personality is selling an array of clothing items from sequin gowns to fun beach outfits. The TOWIE alum, 44, has been incredibly open about losing weight on the loss jab after being unable to turn over in bed (pictured in June 2024) After dropping two dress sizes, Gemma is now selling her clothes on resale site Vinted, as she advertised the items on her Instagram Story on Tuesday. She has posted items in sizes 5XL to 8XL, with prices ranging from £15 to £300. 'Fabulous PRE LOVED items worn once by GC enjoy darlings xx,' she wrote on her page. It comes after Gemma, who says her life has been transformed since taking the NHS-approved jab, showed off her new look in figure-hugging gym wear. In the body positivity post on Instagram, Gemma paid tribute to 'all the women who felt like they weren't enough due to the totally irresponsible bombardment of airbrushed campaigns'. Gemma wrote: 'NO AIRBRUSHING OR BODY EDITING 'For all the women out there who felt like they weren't enough due to the totally irresponsible bombardment of airbrushed and heavily edited marketing campaigns, this one's for YOU'. Speaking to The Sun in February, she said: 'I can't believe I've finally found something that works. I've lost nearly two stone already and it's been completely effortless - I don't even want to eat anymore!' 'I got on the scales and lost something like 6kg in my first week. I bet my house by May, I'll have six stone off. And it's been effortless.' Gemma, who at her heaviest weighed 23st and was a size 26, said her goal is to get down to a size 16 by summer. She is currently a size 20. The reality star has long wanted to start a family with her fiancé Rami Hawash and believes she will 'give birth to twins' next year after losing more weight. But Gemma's weight loss journey was a difficult one before she found Mounjaro, admitting she would even have taken the appetite suppressant Reductil as a teenager, which has since been taken off the market. Gemma admitted she would feel 'suicidal' when she was on diets and has been weighing for food portions and eating boiled eggs every day for years. The star previously had a secret operation to have a gastric balloon fitted but was left feeling so ill after she thought she might die. She said: 'It was scary. I should never have done it... I thought I was going to die. I could not get out of bed. The pain in my stomach... because it was like a foreign body in my belly.' Gemma said even drinking water after the operation made her violently sick and so she rang the hospital begging them to take the balloon out. She also said there are plenty of celebrities taking weight loss jabs but most are keeping it to themselves. The star insisted she's not worried about losing her curves and even found at her heaviest, she couldn't put a 'sexy bra' on and also struggled to turn over in bed. But will Gemma now be on Mounjaro for the rest of her life in a bid to keep the weight from creeping back on? She is going to keep taking it for the time being but will allow herself time off it for special occasions like Christmas. As well as the weight loss, Gemma believes there's other benefits to the weight loss jab. She hopes to become a mother and 'truly believes' once she has lost more weight, she will get pregnant. It comes after the star confessed she'd been 'bullied and tortured' about her weight over the years and said that she was going to 'finally be free'. In her typical GC style, Gemma quipped she would soon be looking like a Victoria's Secret Model and joked that she would be living on the beach. She said: 'This has been life-changing for me. I am going to look like a Victoria's Secret model. But not only that, I feel healthier, I feel happier. 'I'm really looking forward to this year, I may finally be able to wear a bikini again.' Explaining the process of the brand and the options their offer, Gemma admitted went: 'This was a big thing for me to come on here because I just wanted to share with you my journey. I've been bullied and tortured all my life for being overweight. 'I can't tell you how good I feel right now. I feel like a massive weight's been lifted off my shoulders. 'This if for anyone who struggles is real. Only if you're overweight do you know the struggle, you know the downfalls, you know what you go through.'
