MTV have axed two major Geordie Shore spin-off shows last minute. The Sun revealed that execs had Kyle Christie and Marnie Simpson . But now the cast have been told that bosses have changed their mind and it won't be going ahead. A source said: 'They had started filming for them, and all the cast had been booked in for all the filming dates as they were filming their to-camera VTs. "There were 10-15 filming dates in the diary across the whole cast. The move has angered some of the cast after they cleared their schedule to be on the show, only for it to be cancelled. "The cast are all fuming as they were getting paid more money to do them, and they had all booked out their time," they continued. "It's not gone down well at all. "There will also be a second spin off which will follow Marnie as she gives birth to her third child later this year. "It's her first girl after having two sons and bosses wanted to capture all the magic and excitement as she and husband Casey welcome their little princess.' Bosses kicked off their brand new spin-off strand, Geordie Stories, last year, with Charlotte Crosby being handed her own full-length spin-off show entitled, Charlotte's New Baby. Advertisement It followed her as she welcomed her second child, Pixi, with her partner Jake Ankers as well as continuing to grow her business and face the daily pressures of life in the public eye. The next full-length series of Geordie Shore is expected to launch in January 2026 with the spin-offs likely to follow soon after. The cast jetted off to Portugal last month to film the 26th series of the show and there was plenty of drama and shenanigans when the cast reunited and two familiar faces made a shocking comeback. Advertisement Original show star Gaz Beadle made a surprise comeback after years of shunning big-money offers to make a return. Aaron Chalmers also headed out to the villa in Lisbon as he returned to filming for the first time in three years. The 34-year-old is fronting an emotional documentary about him and his dad Glen, who is currently living with a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Called Geordie Stories: Nathan and Dad, the docuseries will follow the TV star as he embarks on a life-changing journey with his father. Speaking about the show, Nathan revealed that he almost quit filming after he saw his dad cry for the first time in his life. He said: "When my dad cried, that's when I was like, he's not done TV before and the first TV show he's gonna do he's crying and I've never seen him cry, I'm like am I doing the right thing here? 'Afterwards I asked him if he wanted to stop and he was like, no, I want to do this to help people, he is as much in this as I am and he wants to help people. 'So I was like, I have no right now to stop this, he's got cancer, he wants to share his story. There's no going back." Nathan revealed how putting his and his father's story out there has helped many fans. He said: "When I talked on Geordie Shore about my dad's diagnosis, when that clip went out on TikTok the amount of messages I got and the feedback I got online was so many people going through the same thing. Geordie Shore star hits out at MTV after being 'fired' 'And I think that in itself just kept me going because there was so many people going through this that if I've got a platform to talk about it and create awareness, why am I not using it to that advantage? 'I think doing that, seeing how vulnerable my dad was gonna be, it was just a no brainer to just give this my all and then the more I put into it, the more people are gonna get out of it. Fighting back tears Nathan then opened up about how he would feel if a younger version of himself watched the docuseries. He began: 'Younger me would never in his life ever have dreamed that this would never have been something [...] Oh my god this is probably the only question that's going to make me emotional. 'Just younger me would never have ever dreamed that this is something that would have been possible. 5 Geordie Stories: Nathan and Dad will follow the TV star as he embarks on a life-changing journey with his father Credit: MTV 5 The four-part series will offer 'a rare and emotional look at black father-son relationships' 'I didn't think it would ever be a reality like one, younger me would never have thought of coming out to my dad. 'I would never imagine that I'd be in a position where I might no longer have my dad and I would never have imagined myself doing stuff like this. 'So I think if younger me and me were sat in a room and I was like, we've just done a documentary with my dad about his cancer and you came out to him and everything, I probably wouldn't believe him. 'I'd be like, I think you're lying so I'm glad I've actually managed to do something." The four-part series will offer "a rare and emotional look at black father-son relationships through a lens of vulnerability, heritage and identity," according to the show description. "Audiences will follow Nathan and Glen to Jamaica, Glen's birthplace, as they reconnect with family roots and open up about masculinity, illness and LGBTQ+ acceptance in Caribbean culture."
