Texel Air Renews Sponsorship with Rashid Equestrian Club for Three More Seasons
Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club has renewed its golden sponsorship deal with Texel Air, continuing their partnership for the next three horse racing seasons starting from 2025–2026.
The agreement was signed during the club's visit to the UK for the Bahrain Trophy race in Newmarket. Yousif Osama Buhejji, CEO of the Club, and George Chisholm, CEO of Texel Air, signed the renewed deal.
This renewal follows the direction of the club's High Committee, led by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and is part of efforts to build strong partnerships that support Bahrain's plans to host more international horse racing events.
Buhejji said the renewed support from Texel Air helps strengthen Bahrain's position in global horse racing and thanked the company for its continued trust. He also highlighted Texel Air's important role in air cargo and connecting Bahrain with the world.
George Chisholm expressed his happiness with the ongoing partnership, saying it reflects Texel Air's goal to support important sectors in Bahrain—especially horse racing, which has been growing thanks to the leadership of HH Shaikh Isa.
He also praised the success of previous racing events and confirmed the company's commitment to supporting future races, helping boost Bahrain's reputation on the international horse racing scene.
