Geri Horner faces another blow as her firm racks up $1.35m debt amid hubby's Red Bull firing

Geri Horner faced yet another blow when it was revealed her book company has racked up a huge $1.35million debt. It comes following her husband Christian was released from his operational duties as the boss of Red Bull one year after the scandal that engulfed him over texts he allegedly sent to a female employee. According to a new publication, Geri could now be facing her own troubles as her company Falcon Queen Productions has sunk further into the red, according to The Mirror. The Mirror reports, Geri had a deficit of $1,000,000 in the year ending August 2024, compared to a $372,572.40 the previous year. The singer released her children's books, Rosie Frost And The Falcon Queen and Rose Frost: Ice On Fire via the firm. However, her 'main company, Wonderful Productions, earned almost $3m in the 12 months to August last year.' Wonderful Productions was set up by Geri in 1997 at the height of the Spice Girls' fame and channels earnings from her career in music and other commercial deals. has contacted Geri's representative for comment. Christian was released from his operational duties as the boss of Red Bull earlier this week. It ends the longest reign of Formula One team principals in the sport and comes a year after the scandal that engulfed him over texts he apparently sent to a female employee. Red Bull issued a statement confirming the news, reading: 'Red Bull has released Christian Horner from his operational duties with effect from today, Wednesday 9 July 2025, and has appointed Laurent Mekies as CEO of Red Bull Racing.' Horner's former Spice Girl wife Geri stood by her husband after the explosive accusations rocked the Formula One world as Horner vehemently denied the claims. Screenshots of alleged WhatsApp messages between Horner and a Red Bull employee were leaked anonymously the day after a three-week investigation, carried out externally, cleared the 51-year-old of all allegations. Horner survived accusations of coercive behavior towards his colleague – and was twice cleared in internal investigations of wrongdoing. In the midst of the controversy, he was told by his wife, Spice Girl Geri, to make it 'all go away' – a feat he pulled off for 16 months. The file allegedly containing texts and images was leaked to almost 200 people involved in the sport, including owners Liberty Media, team principals and the media. Horner was then exonerated for a second time after the female employee appealed against the findings of the investigation, which were upheld. An independent lawyer interviewed Horner for almost nine hours, it is understood. Netflix's most recent series of its hugely-successful Drive to Survive programme revealed Horner's immediate reaction to the bombshell news of the alleged texts being leaked. He said: 'The higher you rise, the sharper the knives.' 'I've reached the top of my game and I never thought in a million years I'd have a challenge like this in my career,' Horner continued. 'It's a crucial time of year, in a job that I do, you're the front face of the organisation. 'You can either hide away or you can get out there and face it.'

Fresh blow for Geri Horner after husband Christian is sacked from F1's Red Bull

GERI Horner is facing another upsetting blow following her husband Christian's sacking from F1's Red Bull. The team principal's sudden dismissal comes a year on from his sexting scandal with an employee. 2 After The Sun told how it's claimed to have prompted Geri to make a decisive move about their future, it's now been reported the Spice Girls ' book company is in £1million debt. The Mirror claims new accounts for her business, Falcon Queen Productions, had sunk a further £750,000 in the year ending August 2024, compared to a £276,000 deficit the previous year. Geri set up the firm in 2021 and launched her debut novel, Rosie Frost and the Falcon Queen two years later. In April this year she released a second title, Rose Frost: Ice On Fire. There are no such concerns withher main company, Won-derful Productions, which earned £2.16m in 12 months. Geri also has a jaw-dropping £440million net worth between her and Christian. When Christian's sexting scandal was exposed in February last year, Geri put on a very public show of support for her husband - despite it reportedly leaving her "heartbroken" and "utterly humiliated". She was by his side for the beginning of the Formula One season in Bahrain, with the couple pictured hand in hand, cuddling and even seen sharing an intimate kiss before the race. But behind the scenes it seems she had already subtly started to focus on herself and cultivating her own brand, separate from her racing boss husband. We revealed last year that the singer had begun using her maiden name for penning her children's books. At the time Geri attempted to dismiss any meaning behind the name change, telling The Sunday Times: 'That's a load of c**p. It's my writing name. "I haven't legally changed anything — Horner is the name on my passport." But the bombshell news of Christian's Red Bull sacking yesterday has reportedly prompted Geri to speed up her plans to claw back her own identity. It comes amid Geri's hopes of a Spice Girls reunion for the girlband's 30th anniversary next year. A source revealed: "She's totally focused on her writing career with kids books and is trying to get the series made into a film. "Meetings in Hollywood have happened and she's really pushing that. She'll have her head down and be focused on trying to make more of a name for herself there." Christian was the longest reigning F1 boss after becoming head honcho of the Austrian team during its inception in 2005. Allegations of inappropriate behaviour made against him in February 2024 by a female team member were dismissed following a three-week internal probe. He was accused of sending suggestive WhatsApp messages, in texts that were leaked a month later in March 2024. He denied the accusations throughout.

MailOnline has contacted Geri's representative for comment. Christian was released from his operational duties as the boss of Red Bull earlier this week. It ends the longest reign of Formula One team principals in the sport and comes a year after the scandal that engulfed him over texts he apparently sent to a female employee. Red Bull issued a statement confirming the news, reading: 'Red Bull has released Christian Horner from his operational duties with effect from today, Wednesday 9 July 2025, and has appointed Laurent Mekies as CEO of Red Bull Racing.' Horner's former Spice Girl wife Geri stood by her husband after the explosive accusations rocked the Formula One paddock last year. Horner has vehemently denied the claims. Screenshots of alleged WhatsApp messages between Horner and a Red Bull employee were leaked anonymously the day after a three-week investigation, carried out externally, cleared the 51-year-old of all allegations. Horner survived accusations of coercive behaviour towards his colleague – and was twice cleared in internal investigations of wrongdoing. In the midst of the controversy, he was told by his wife, Spice Girl Halliwell, to make it 'all go away' – a feat he pulled off for 16 months. 'The higher you rise, the sharper the knives,' he said. 'I've reached the top of my game and I never thought in a million years I'd have a challenge like this in my career,' Horner continued. 'It's a crucial time of year, in a job that I do, you're the front face of the organisation. 'You can either hide away or you can get out there and face it.' On the track, Horner defiantly responded to the scandal by helping Verstappen deliver a fourth-successive world championship, although Red Bull fell short of the constructors' title to rivals McLaren. That appeared to be the beginning of the end of Red Bull's sporting dominance, with McLaren now 288 points ahead of them in the constructors' standings for the 2025 season. Oliver Mintzlaff, CEO Corporate Projects and Investments thanked Christian Horner for his exceptional work over the last 20 years. Mintzlafff said: 'We would like to thank Christian Horner for his exceptional work over the last 20 years. 'With his tireless commitment, experience, expertise and innovative thinking, he has been instrumental in establishing Red Bull Racing as one of the most successful and attractive teams in Formula One. 'Thank you for everything, Christian, and you will forever remain an important part of our team history.' Horner has been at the top of the team since its inception in 2005, and has led them in two phases to world championship success through Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen, eight drivers' championships and six constructors' championships. Horner is now replaced by Mekies, who will take over the duties of CEO at Red Bull Racing, with Alan Permane, currently Racing Director, to be promoted to Team Principal at Racing Bulls. Mekies' first gig in F1 came with Arrows in 2001, where he worked in the background while Jos Verstappen, Max's father, and Enrique Bernoldi were out on track. 'The last year and a half has been an absolute privilege to lead the team with Peter,' said Mekies. 'It has been an amazing adventure to contribute to the birth of Racing Bulls together with all our talented people. The spirit of the whole team is incredible, and I strongly believe that this is just the beginning. 'Alan is the perfect man to take over now and continue our path. He knows the team inside out and has always been an important pillar of our early successes.' Permane added: 'I feel very honoured to take on the role as Team Principal and would like to thank Oliver and Helmut for the trust they have shown in me. 'I am looking forward to working with Peter to continue the good work that both him and Laurent have done in taking this team forward. This is a new challenge for me, but I know that I can count on the support of everyone within them.' But, with results poor, his star driver Max Verstappen unhappy with progress, he has now paid the price. His £12million-a-year job was secured by support from the Thai majority owners of Red Bull but that seems to have worn out. He was in charge at Silverstone only this past weekend, seemingly master of all he surveys, including at the annual Clay Day event last Wednesday, close to his own country house in Oxfordshire. Red Bull have been contacted for comment but have not responded. Red Bull Racing's PR department are being sidelined in this debacle. An email has arrived directing all media inquiries to be addressed to their parent energy drinks company in Austria.

Geri Horner ‘set for own Netflix series like Meghan Markle' after husband Christian's Red Bull axing

GERI Horner is reportedly in discussions with Netflix to develop a high-profile reality series. The Spice Girl is said to be in talks for a 'glossy reality show' similar in tone to With Love, Meghan, the lifestyle-focused Netflix series created by Meghan Markle. 6 6 6 6 MailOnline reports Geri's proposed series would offer a glimpse into her personal and professional life, blending celebrity access with aspirational storytelling. The move could signal Geri's return to the spotlight as she steps out from the shadow of her husband's high-profile motorsport career. Meghan Markle's With Love, Meghan showcased the Duchess of Sussex's take on wellness, home life, and philanthropy. The series was both mocked and praised for its polished presentation and behind-the-scenes look at Markle's post-royal life. However, it comes at a pivotal time for Geri's family - after husband Christian Horner was sacked earlier this week following ongoing internal tensions at Red Bull Racing. It has been reported Horner 'wants quiet time with Geri and the family' following his dramatic exit from Formula 1 team Red Bull this week. The now former Red Bull team principal was axed on Wednesday after 20 years in charge, a year on from being accused of sexual harassment and coercive, controlling behaviour by a female employee. He denied the accusations throughout the scandal. Horner and his wife have been seen together in public as a united front since the scandal last February. Horner was in tears as he addressed his 'shock' sacking and received a standing ovation at Red Bull HQ in Milton Keynes. Christian Horner 'in tears' during farewell speech to Red Bull employees as sacked boss admits decision came as 'shock' He said: "Yesterday, I was informed by Red Bull that operationally I would no longer be involved with the business or the team moving forward. "I will still remain employed by the company, but, operationally the baton will be handed over. "It came as a shock to myself. I've had a chance to reflect over the last 12 hours and wanted to stand in front of all of you to break this news. "And to express my gratitude to each and every single member of the team that has given so much during the last 20-and-a-half years that I've been here. "When I arrived 20 years ago, with a few less grey hairs, I walked into a team and did not know what to expect but I was immediately welcomed and we started to build what became a powerhouse in F1. "Watching and being part of this team has been the biggest privilege of my life." A source told The Sun that the tears during his farewell speech were 'actually about Geri'. The source said: 'Christian is of course desperately sad that his career has ended this way. "He also had the shock news about his ex wife's death just a few days before. But the emotion he showed during his teary speech was actually about Geri. 'He fears his sacking is yet another crisis for his marriage to face after an incredibly difficult year. "Geri has already begun distancing herself by going by Halliwell-Horner when writing her books. "Although she's still totally invested in her marriage, she wants to focus on herself and protecting her own image." Geri and her husband enjoy a luxurious yet warm countryside lifestyle spread across two stunning estates in Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire. Their listed Oxfordshire mansion includes a boating lake, greenhouse, stables for up to 14 horses, and a working farmyard. The Sun has contacted a representative for Geri for comment. 6 6

'It's all come crashing to an end': How 'absolutely humiliated' Geri Horner reacted to news of her husband's shocking F1 downfall, as insiders tell KATIE HIND what her next move will be

EXCLUSIVE 'It's all come crashing to an end': How 'absolutely humiliated' Geri Horner reacted to news of her husband's shocking F1 downfall, as insiders tell KATIE HIND what her next move will be It was a defiant show of unity: Geri Horner was standing by her man despite her anguish over flirtatious messages he had allegedly sent to a female colleague. Dressed in her trademark white – this time a vintage Gucci dress – the ex-Spice Girl held husband Christian Horner's hand tight at the launch of the Formula 1 season in Bahrain in March last year. The beleaguered couple also kissed passionately in Christian's Team Red Bull paddock before the grand prix, in an apparent attempt to show the world their marriage was still solid. It had been under strain since he was accused of 'inappropriate behaviour' by a female colleague at the start of February 2024. Just in case there was any doubt, Geri wore a red string bracelet on her left wrist – an accessory that signifies commitment according to the Jewish spiritual teachings of Kabbalah, which Geri is said to follow. Geri was clearly desperately hoping that this display of unity would help silence the gossips. And over time, the scandal blew itself out. Indeed, at the weekend she was seen looking happy and relaxed at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, which she attended with her eight-year-old son, Monty, whom she shares with Christian, as well as Bluebell, 19, her daughter from a previous relationship with a Hollywood screenwriter. Again, head-to-toe in white, she made it clear she was the first lady of F1 – a role she is said to have 'very much enjoyed'. Geri Horner, the 'First Lady of F1', will be devastated to lose her status after Christian Horner's dismissal, writes KATIE HIND So imagine her horror just two days later when the former Ginger Spice learned that Christian was to be axed by Red Bull and the position which she treasured so much had been denied her at the stroke of a pen. A statement issued by the team yesterday morning confirmed rumours that had been swirling around the F1 world for weeks: 'Red Bull has released Christian Horner from his operational duties with effect from today… and has appointed Laurent Mekies as CEO of Red Bull Racing.' Such has been the abruptness of Horner's dismissal after 20 years at the helm that he reportedly 'broke down' while addressing staff at Red Bull's Milton Keynes HQ. Sky Sports F1 reported that the leaving speech 'was hugely emotional, and Christian himself was very emotional and broke down on occasion'. Horner's dramatic sacking comes amid claims the F1 chief's 'ongoing personal issues' had become 'a burden to the team'. Red Bull's failure to give a reason for his departure immediately prompted speculation that his sex-text scandal had finally caught up with him. Screenshots of WhatsApp messages allegedly exchanged between Christian and a Red Bull employee were leaked anonymously on March 1 last year, the day after a three-week investigation, carried out externally, cleared the 51-year-old of all allegations. F1 sources suggest that there wasn't one particular reason for Christian's departure and it was, in fact, a myriad of factors – including poor team performances on the track – that made his position untenable. But many will insist it was that alleged indiscretion of 17 months ago that finally come back to bite him. And Red Bull's decision to part with Horner – his lawyers were instructed to write to media outlets yesterday to claim he wasn't sacked – will leave Geri 'absolutely humiliated', according to friends. After all, while it was an unpleasant reminder of that unedifying episode, it also represented a fresh challenge to her carefully curated makeover. Geri has worked 'incredibly hard' to transform herself from brash and ballsy pop star to a horse-riding, elegant 'lady of the manor'. 'Geri loved Christian for Christian,' says an associate of the singer, who infamously wore a raunchy, knicker-flashing Union Jack mini-dress onstage at the 1997 Brit Awards. 'But she also loved being the wife of 'Mr F1'. It undeniably brought her gravitas. 'Those who know Geri and don't particularly like her sneer about her behind her back for this, but she had what she'd wanted since she was a young woman growing up in working-class Watford. The couple stride into the Bahrain circuit paddock hand in hand in March last year following an investigation into Christian Horner's 'inappropriate behaviour' with a female worker 'She has the countryside homes and the successful husband and of course more money than she knew what to do with. But now it has all come to a crashing end. 'Geri wanted all of the stories about the texts and speculation about her marriage to go away, and then she had this blissful year or so where the world moved on and she could go back to enjoying her new life. 'But now his sacking has put it all back at the forefront and she will find it tough.' Yesterday, I was inundated with calls from people who worked with Geri in the past keen to speculate over what all this means for her marriage. The couple's relationship didn't get off to the most classy of starts back in 2014 when Christian left his wife Beverley Allen for her just weeks after Beverley had given birth to their daughter Olivia. Indeed, there were two conspicuous absentees from the couple's glamorous wedding in May 2015, which was followed by a lavish reception at Woburn Abbey, Bedfordshire: Christian's parents, clearly appalled by his treatment of Beverley, chose not to attend. But Geri and Christian soon became an A-list power couple. Onlookers at Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday party last April at Mayfair haunt Oswald's say that Christian 'appeared very pleased to be there'. He was also beyond excited when Geri was joined by stars including A-list pals Emma 'Baby Spice' Bunton, Ronnie Wood, Rod Stewart and Gary Barlow in singing him Happy Birthday when he turned 50 in December 2023. Meanwhile, there were rumours that Geri's efforts at reinvention even extended to styling herself 'Geraldine' in a bid to come across as more refined, as she and her husband divide their time between two sprawling country estates, one in Oxfordshire and another in Hertfordshire. This suggestion was vigorously denied. The Oxfordshire estate has a grade II-listed mansion complete with an indoor swimming pool, as well as a working farm, which includes a duck pond, stables, miniature donkeys and goats. It all adds up to quite a transition for Geri, who was brought up in a council house by her Spanish mother Ana Maria Hidalgo. Meanwhile, my sources say that Christian has not always relished some elements of Geri's Spice Girls past – such as when her former bandmate Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) revealed on Piers Morgan's Life Stories programme in 2018 that the two women had had a lesbian fling. 'Christian wasn't exactly over the moon when Mel did that,' says a former associate. Geri Horner performs as Ginger Spice on stage during a Spice Girls performance Another former colleague of the star says: 'But what this [Christian's dismissal] has done is resurrect all of the back story to her and Christian which doesn't help Geri's brand. She will hate it so much.' Despite the WhatsApp messages becoming a global story, Christian survived accusations of coercive behaviour towards his ex-colleague. It is understood he was interviewed for almost nine hours by an independent barrister during the subsequent investigation into the affair but was cleared of any wrongdoing. The multimillionaire racing boss was exonerated for a second time after the original finding was upheld following an appeal. Yesterday, the father of the woman in question said he believed Christian's sacking was a fitting end to a sorry saga which has blighted his daughter's life. He told MailOnline: 'I've read the news and the right thing has happened… People know what took place.' He also indicated that his daughter is no longer working at Red Bull, but refused to be drawn on whether she is still involved in F1. 'You'll have to find out for yourself,' he said. 'I don't want to go into details.' The Red Bull Racing team has never really recovered from the controversy, which led to months of internal disputes and disappointing race results, according to insiders. The most divisive result of the sexting scandal was a major falling out between Christian and Red Bull's world champion driver Max Verstappen. In the wake of the sexting allegations, the Dutch-Belgian driver's father Jos warned that the team was 'in danger of being torn apart' if Horner stayed in his role. Since then, the pair have reportedly been at loggerheads, with the latest clash allegedly at Silverstone at the weekend where Verstappen finished in fifth place. Friends of Christian tell me that he will be 'devastated' at his Red Bull career coming to such a sudden conclusion and with it, in all likelihood, any involvement in F1. Christian Horner embraces Prince Harry at the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, in 2023 They say that 'it is all he has ever done, all he has ever worked towards' and his life is now 'destroyed'. One adds: 'You wonder what Christian will do: this has been his vocation.' He can take some solace, of course, from the fact that he and Geri have amassed a combined fortune of at least £50 million. But his dramatic split with Red Bull is not the only shock to have thrown his life into turmoil recently. Ten days ago, his former wife Beverley, the mother of his 11-year-old daughter Olivia, passed away at her Cotswolds home following a two-year battle with eye cancer. Friends of Beverley told me yesterday that, while her prognosis had long been gloomy, they are devastated at her passing. As one associate of the couple said: 'When something like this happens, it puts everything into perspective.' Meanwhile, I hear that Geri has recently put her publicist Pippa Beng on 'hiatus' while she works on her career as a children's book author. There were rumours she was keen to start a reality television show, too, while at the same time accused of being the 'blocker' to a Spice Girls reunion tour. Friends say she will probably want to retreat from public view for some time as she waits for the fuss over her husband's Red Bull exit to die down. The question is: as their marriage once again comes under scrutiny, will she be wearing her red string commitment bracelet – or not?
