ESPN NFL analyst Mike Tannenbaum raised some eyebrows when he cracked a crude joke about NBA senior writer Brian Windhorst on 'Get Up' Friday morning. The moment occurred during a segment, 'Are You Convinced?' when Dan Graziano, filling in for host Mike Greenberg, asked Tannenbaum if he thought Aaron Rodgers would lead the Steelers to their first playoff win since the 2016 season. 'Windy is a little lost in the new studio,' ESPN wrote, including a clip of the moment on social media. ESPN's morning shows, including 'Get Up' and 'First Take,' moved from its Seaport Studios home to 7 Hudson Square in Lower Manhattan this month. Tannenbaum, a former GM for the Jets, didn't clarify if his joke was related related to Windhorst's camera mishap. During an appearance on 'The Pat McAfee Show' in March, James publicly criticized Windhorst, calling him 'weird' and questioning his portrayal of their relationship. 'This guy who says he's like my f–king best friend, these guys are just weird,' James said. Windhorst has extensively covered James' career since his high school days.

And while that is understandable, things have quickly started to look up for the Mavericks once again. That pick was used to get Cooper Flagg, who has been deemed a generational star. Now, Shams Charania has branded the Mavericks' new-look frontcourt the best in the NBA, and even that seems understandable. 'What Nico Harrison, the general manager of the Dallas Mavericks, is building is arguably the best frontcourt in the NBA,' he said on ESPN's Get Up. The statement comes after the Mavericks have already made multiple consolidation moves this offseason. With Flagg coming in, and the likes of Anthony Davis and Derrick Lively II at their disposal, the Mavericks have an offensive lineup that can rival any team. Charania also mentioned Daniel Gafford, who has recently signed a three-year, almost $60 million deal, along with Kyrie Irving. Charania believes that as Dallas waits for Irving to return from his torn ACL, Flagg can act as a stopgap to replace the veteran's offensive output. Upon his return, the Mavericks will indeed have an eye-watering frontcourt roster. Lively added 8.7 points on 70.2% efficiency with 7.5 rebounds and 1.6 blocks in his sophomore year, while Gafford posted his career-high in points, averaging 12.3 per game last season. Klay Thompson has also averaged 14 points per game since his arrival in Dallas. Advertisement That, in addition to Washington's 14.7 points and 7.8 boards and the bench impact of Naji Marshall and Kai Jones, makes Dallas lethal offensively. Of course, it remains to be seen how big of an impact Flagg is able to make in his rookie season. The former Duke star had 19.2 points and 7.5 boards per game in his solitary college campaign. All in all, there is little doubt that the Mavericks have one of the, if not the best frontcourt in the NBA for the upcoming season. But as cameras cut to the 21-year-old celebrating with his loved ones, ESPN anchor Malika Andrews announced that Portland had picked 'Colin Cowherd'. ESPN insider Shams Charania isn't closing the door on a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade. During an appearance on 'Get Up' on Thursday, Charania said the two-time NBA MVP is still evaluating the Bucks' offseason and thinking about his future in Milwaukee. 'A lot of observing,' Charania said of Antetokounmpo. 'He's been there for 12 years, so there's going to be that equity given to the Bucks to see what they do during the draft week, free agency week. How much can they improve this team in their moves? His future, I've said it for the last few weeks, it won't be tied to the draft, it won't be tied to free agency. If there is a resolution on Giannis Antetokounmpo, it could be later in the summer.' Antetokounmpo's name has been in the rumor mill since the Bucks were ousted in the first round for the third straight season. In mid-May, Charania reported that Antetokounmpo was 'open-minded' about leaving Milwaukee. Earlier this month, Charania's colleague Brian Windhorst threw cold water on a potential Antetokounmpo deal, saying, 'Right now, there is no Giannis Antetokounmpo trade market, there is no Giannis Antetokounmpo trade discussions. He has not asked for it. The Bucks are not looking to trade him.' Milwaukee has won just one playoff series since winning the NBA title in 2021, leading many to speculate that Antetokounmpo could leave for greener pastures as he enters his 30s.
