Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin Exclusive: Param Singh opens up on show going off air due to low TRP, says 'Time slot matters'
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, one of the beloved shows, is set to pull its curtain down soon. The lead actors, Pram Singh and Bhavika Sharma, have shot for the final episode. Pinkvilla exclusively spoke to Param to know his thoughts about the show's conclusion. Param, who played Neil, shared factors that must have impacted the show's TRP ratings and even spoke about his future projects. Param Singh opens up on Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin off air In an exclusive conversation with Pinkvilla, Param Singh was asked whether he was expecting the show to go off air this year. Answering this question, Param shared how he wasn't thinking that the show would wrap up. He said, "I was just thinking about my character. But when the time slots were changing and TRPs were dipping, I was hoping that the numbers would go back up, but it didn't happen." He elaborated, "The producers, makers and the channel tried a lot. They took a leap. There were a couple of changes, but nothing happened. I kind of knew it for a month that the numbers won't go up, and they will take it off, and that's what happened. It's a normal thing. He emphasised how the time slots of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin kept changing. He said, "We were at 8 PM, 7:40, 7:30, 7:10, 7, and then now we are at 6:30 PM. Even the time slot matters, and there are a lot of other things that matter." Param describes feeling of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin wrapping up When asked how he has been feeling now that the show has wrapped up, Param mentioned that the feeling has not fully sunk in yet, as it is still very fresh— they just wrapped up the show two days ago. Param Singh was asked about his last day on set. He said, "I started in the last week of January, and I was there for 5 and a half months. The show was on air for almost 5 years. The unit was feeling more than I." However, he explained that when the last shot happened and he delivered his lines, and the director announced, "It's a wrap," that moment was something. He noted that while they felt a bit strange when cutting their cake, they quickly got back to normal. How will Savi and Neil's story end in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin? Regarding how Savi and Neil's story will conclude in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Param revealed that their story will end with Savi and Neil choosing to remain friends. He elaborated that although Savi and Neil like each other, they decided to stay friends because they are both dealing with personal issues and are not ready to commit. Thus, the storyline of Ghum will end with Neil and Savi being friends. Param Singh shares his relationship status When asked about his relationship status, Param Singh confirmed he is single. He said, "I am single. For very long time, I am happy. Very happy right now. Not looking for it." Regarding the qualities he seeks in a partner, he stated, "Honestly, authenticity, calmness and patience. Actually, openness, honesty and sincerity, that's it and nothing else. Vibe should match." Sharing insights about his upcoming projects, Param told Pinkvilla, "I have a couple of things. I have to do a couple of mock shoots. I haven't singed anything yet." When asked whether his focus is on television, web series, or films, he mentioned that he is also open on doing 'nukad natak' also. In response to whether he would participate in Bigg Boss 19, the actor immediately replied, "I am not open to Bigg Boss. I am open to everything else, but not Bigg Boss." However, he expressed his interest in Khatron Ke Khiladi and said, "I would love to do Khatron Ke Khiladi."

Here's what she shared: Tell us about your character in Jhanak I am playing the role of Ankita in Jhanak. She is paired with Yash, who is Ishani and Shashwat's son. Ankita is in her mid-20s, a true Gen Z personality—entitled, manipulative, possessive, and power-hungry. This character is very different from anything I've done before. Ankita is insecure, and she masks it with aggression and a polished sense of control. She stands as an antagonist to Ishani, but not in a loud or dramatic way—her emotional cruelty comes wrapped in sophistication. She doesn't evolve, but remains a strong, static presence—someone who reflects modern emotional manipulation masked as class and confidence. How has it been returning to yet another show that holds a legacy? Honestly, it's such a blessing to be part of another StarPlus show. The love and support from my family, friends, and fans have always meant the world to me—and they've been eagerly waiting to see me back on screen. Sameeksha Sud was recently seen in the show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the actress played an interesting character on the show. Now, Sameeksha is set to make her debut with Theatre. In an exclusive conversation, the actress shared her experience. Sameeksha shared, "Acting is my passion so in any form, I enjoy it a lot but, yes with theatre one gets no retakes at all It is a direct connection with the audience and it's about knowing your craft better but the core remains the same." She further got candid about her character in Ghum, "I recently did Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, and I was playing the role of an autistic girl, it was usually challenging and these are the kinds of roles I like to take up, it needs to tickle my creative bone and I need to know that I am challenging myself to give the best of me so thats how I like choosing the scripts which come alone." Sameeksha reacted to the Actor-Influencer debate, "Actors are becoming influencers now but I shall always make sure to give them the due of being actors first they are both equally difficult and extremely time-consuming so calling one easier than the other is not at all true. It takes a lot to maintain one's own in both these professions." On debuting with theatre, "I am doing theatre now with a group called natakwale the name of my play is 'Homemaid' and I shall be playing the character of a househelp and it is a rom-com also it's my first play. So far it's been great so let's see how audiences accept me and I hope I can steal their hearts it's my debut in theatre, and hopefully a lot more to come." With a bid to improve falling TRPs, producers of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin have reintroduced Bhavika Sharma into the show. But the move has been met with opposition from fans on social media. In the latest episode, Neil (played by Param Singh) and Savi Thakkar (Bhavika Sharma) can be seen probing the untimely deaths of Rajat and Teju. A key clue is found when Neil finds a ruby stashed in a candy and goes on a trail that relates to a smuggling syndicate.
