Kendra has frequently reflected on moving into the Playboy Mansion at the tender age of 18. In 2004, the star moved from San Diego to Los Angeles to become one of Hugh Hefner's three live-in girlfriends alongside Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt. And during a chat with Fox News Digital, the blonde revealed the one regret she has about her four years in the sprawling abode. She told the outlet: 'The only thing I can say I regret in my life is not starting my real estate career while I was living at the Playboy Mansion.' The former lingerie model explained: 'I was surrounded by everyone - every celebrity, every billionaire, and what was I thinking? But I'm now in real estate, so I'm good.' And she finished with: 'You can support me by referring me to friends who are looking into moving. Thank you' Kendra rose to fame on the E! unscripted series The Girls Next Door, which followed her life as one of Hefner's girlfriends. The show lasted for six seasons between 2005 and 2010, and she lived at the famous estate from 2004 to 2009. She began her real estate career when she got her license in 2020 and joined fellow reality star realtor Mauricio Umansky's The Agency. 'I was a little off mentally, and I wasn't prepared to be on a camera just yet. I wasn't fully healed or there yet. Now I feel there.' In March, Kendra spoke with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes on their self-titled podcast, and she referred to her time being married as the 'happiest days of my entire life.' She emphasized: 'And so when those days came to an end, I crumbled so hard, and it almost killed me. It almost killed me,' Kendra elaborated: 'I left the Playboy Mansion at age 23, got pregnant, got married at the age of 23, then started my life as a wife and a mother, and it was the golden years of my life.' Looking back at her choice to settle down with Hank, she affirmed: 'It was the right timing. I found myself so bored at the Playboy Mansion. 'I was just like, "I'm ready to leave this place. I'm ready to start a family. I'm ready for the lifestyle: My kids go to a great school. I'm a soccer mom. I'm a softball mom. I'm a basketball mom."' She added: 'I manifested it, and it came to me, and I met the perfect man, the man of my dreams.' The mom-of-two heaped praise on her ex, noting, 'Even though we're divorced, he's the father of my kids, and he's the most amazing father to my kids, and I know I chose right with him.'

Playboy bunny on worst thing about living in the mansion she bitterly regrets
Former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson has revealed her main regret from her time sharing the lavish Playboy mansion with Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt A former Playboy bunny has opened up about her time in the infamous house and one of her biggest regrets. Kendra Wilkinson lived in the lavish mansion with Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt between 2004 and 2008, but admits there is one thing she would change. The Girls Next Door star, now 40, confessed she wishes she changed career sooner. Now a realtor, Kendra admitted she feels as though she would have lost out on a lot of potential celebrity clients by not going into the business during her time in the mansion. And Kendra says it's her "only regret". She said: "The only thing I can say I regret in my life is not starting my real estate career while I was living at the Playboy Mansion." Speaking to Fox News on the red carpet at the Operation Smile 25th Los Angeles Smile Fiesta, Kendra went on: "Like, I mean, I was surrounded by everyone, every celebrity, every billionaire, and what was I thinking? But I'm now in real estate, so I'm good." She began her current career path in June 2020 after passing the California real estate exam. Her role has been followed in a number of reality TV series, including 2021's Kendra Sells Hollywood. The show on Discovery+ and Max followed the former model as she navigated the ups and downs of her new career in Los Angeles' hugely competitive luxury real estate market. She previously labelled the real estate industry as "so stressful" but declared her love for it. Speaking to PEOPLE, she said: "I want to publicly hate real estate again, but I can't, because I love it. I love real estate. It's a challenge every single day." She had previously opened up on her mental health struggles due to the mansion, saying she hit "rock bottom". Kendra explained how she reached out to ex-husband Hank Baskett, whom she split from in 2018, and recalled feeling like she had no control over her head or her body as was in a "state of panic". Despite her latest comments, Kendra said at the time that Playboy had "really messed up my whole life". Speaking in a candid interview with People in 2024, mother-of-two Kendra said of her 2023 hospitalisation: "I was dying of depression. "I was hitting the end of my life, and I went into psychosis. I felt like I wasn't strong enough to live anymore," she admitted, adding that it was the "lowest place I've ever been in my life". Kendra said she has had to "face my demons" and admitted she had a lot of issues that began when she was only 15. She recalled struggling with depression before she entered the Playboy Mansion. She explained how she "drank a lot" to cover up her misery, but that later manifested into "deep regret" when she left Hugh, who was 60 years older than her, to start a new life with Hank.

Former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson has one regret from her time at Hugh Hefner's mansion
Kendra Wilkinson revealed her biggest regret from her time at the Playboy Mansion. During an interview with Fox News Digital, the 39-year-old TV personality-turned-real estate agent reflected on opportunities that she missed while living at the iconic Hollywood property as one of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's girlfriends from 2004 to 2009. 'The only thing I can say I regret in my life is not starting my real estate career while I was living at the Playboy Mansion,' the 'Girls Next Door' alum admitted while on the red carpet at the Operation Smile 25th Los Angeles Smile Fiesta. 'What was I thinking?' she added. 'Like, I mean, I was surrounded by everyone, every celebrity, every billionaire, and what was I thinking? But I'm now in real estate, so I'm good.' Wilkinson launched her career in real estate after passing the California real estate exam in June 2020. A month later, Wilkinson was hired as a real estate agent at The Agency, the luxury real estate company founded by Mauricio Umansky, who is married to 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Kyle Richards. 6 Kendra Wilkinson attends the 25th Annual Los Angeles Operation Smile Fiesta at Candela La Brea in Los Angeles, California on June 3, 2025. In November 2021, Wilkinson debuted her reality series, 'Kendra Sells Hollywood,' which followed the former model as she navigated the ups and downs of her new career in Los Angeles' ultracompetitive luxury real estate market. 'Kendra Sells Hollywood' ran for two seasons on Discovery+ and Max. In May 2023, Wilkinson announced on Instagram that she was stepping away from her real estate career. However, in a September interview with People, Wilkinson revealed that she hadn't actually given up her real estate career and admitted that she had been too hasty in announcing her departure from the business. 'I just had a really bad day,' Wilkinson said. 'So I did announce that I'd be stepping away from real estate, but that was just a really bad day in my life and I should've never probably Instagrammed that I'm quitting, but I did on accident like an idiot, so I made a huge mistake.' 'But I'm back in it,' she added. 'I have so many deals I'm working on right now.' 6 Hugh Hefner poses with Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson at the Fox Reality Channel Really Awards on Sept. 24, 2008. 'I want to publicly hate real estate again, but I can't, because I love it,' Wilkinson said. 'I love real estate. It's a challenge every single day.' When Wilkinson initially announced that she was quitting real estate, she explained that she made the decision so that she could focus on her children and her mental health. Wilkinson shares son Hank IV and daughter Alijah, 11, with her ex-husband Hank Baskett. Wilkinson has been candid about her struggles with her mental health after being hospitalized in September 2023 when she suffered from a panic attack. 6 Kendra Wilkinson and Hugh Hefner attend the Toyota Celebrity/Pro Race at Streets of Long Beach on April 14, 2007. WireImage At the time, a representative for Wilkinson said that she had been taken to the emergency room but would be released the same day. In a January 2024 interview with People, Wilkinson shared that after she was released from the emergency room, she had to return to the hospital a week later. Wilkinson explained that during her second visit, doctors prescribed her an antipsychotic medication, Abilify, and she attended therapy three times a week after her hospitalization. 'I was in a state of panic. I didn't know what was going on in my head and my body or why I was crying. I had hit rock bottom,' Wilkinson recalled of her medical crisis. 'I was dying of depression,' she continued. 'I was hitting the end of my life, and I went into psychosis. I felt like I wasn't strong enough to live anymore.' She shared that professionals helped her handle unresolved trauma, which stemmed from living in the Playboy Mansion and her 2019 divorce from Baskett. Wilkinson rose to fame at the age of 18 when she became one of Hefner's girlfriends and starred on the hit reality series 'Girls Next Door.' 'It's not easy to look back at my 20s. I've had to face my demons,' she admitted. 'Playboy really messed my whole life up,' the former model said. 'It was the lowest place I've ever been in my life. I felt like I had no future. I couldn't see in front of my depression,' she recalled. 'I was giving up and I couldn't find the light. I had no hope.' The California native said before she was hospitalized, she was also struggling with her job in real estate, which caused her not to eat or sleep regularly. ''How am I going to succeed?' 'What am I doing wrong in my life?' 'Do I give up?'' Wilkinson said. During her interview with Fox News Digital, Wilkinson recalled her hospitalization and praised her team of medical professionals for helping her through her darkest time. 'My health and happiness is such a blessing,' she said. 'I credit amazing doctors. I credit an amazing psychiatrist, psychologists, therapists, trainers, physical therapists. I mean, it keeps going on.' 'I mean without them, I wouldn't be standing right now,' she continued. 'I went through a lot with my mental health. I ended up hospitalized for about seven days.' 6 Wilkinson rose to fame at the age of 18 when she became one of Hefner's girlfriends and starred on the hit reality series 'Girls Next Door.' WireImage Wilkinson shared that she was hospitalized at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where she said that the team of doctors and nurses who treated her were 'so amazing.' 'They got me on the right meds, and I feel like a million bucks tonight,' she said. 'I feel amazing. They got me through it. We talked through it. I learned a lot about the brain and how we think, how we behave. And it took a lot of opening my heart up, opening up my mind and really just dissecting everything that's a part of me. And it took me a long time to heal and recover from a lot things.' Wilkinson told Fox News Digital that having 'amazing friends that support me' was also crucial at that time. 'So yeah, it's been a journey, but I'm there,' she said. 'I feel good, and I'm smiling, and I never want to take my smile for granted.' 6 Kendra Wilkinson and Hugh Hefner attend Hugh Hefner's 83rd birthday dinner at Nine Steakhouse at the Palms Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on April 4, 2009. The event, which took place on June 3 at Candela La Brea in Los Angeles, benefited Operation Smile, a nonprofit organization that provides free cleft lip, palate surgeries and comprehensive healthcare to children worldwide. Per a press release, Operation Smile 'works hand in hand with local volunteers, ministries of health, governments, universities, and communities to expand access to surgical care through training and education —starting with free, life-changing cleft surgery and comprehensive care.' At the event, Ford received the Dr. Randy Sherman Visionary Award, named in honor of the late humanitarian and acclaimed plastic surgeon Dr. Randy Sherman, who was a longtime volunteer with Operation Smile and Ford's close friend. During his acceptance speech, Ford praised Sherman, saying 'there was no end to the grace, humility and love that this man embodied.' While speaking with Fox News Digital, Wilkinson explained why supporting Operation Smile was important to her. 'Operation Smile is an amazing cause,' she said. 'It really transforms lives, it transforms lives all around the world, and it's just really such a great organization to support tonight. I'm here, I took my time out of my kids and my home to be here and stand with everyone here to really support this amazing cause.'

Holly Madison 'makes up weird excuses' with her kids about why she's famous
Holly Madison is "still making up weird excuses" for her children about her fame. The 45-year-old star - who rose to fame on 'Girls Next Door', the reality show focused on the lives of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends at the Playboy Mansion - admitted she is yet to tell her kids the full story about why she still gets recognised in public. Holly - who has daughter Rainbow, 12, and son Forest, eight, with her ex Pasquale Rotella - told E! News: "I don't know, I'm still making up weird excuses. I'm like, 'Oh I just do YouTube' or whatever. "It's weird because kids that age, they have no idea what Playboy is, because it just doesn't exist the way it used to. "People always ask me, 'How are you gonna talk to them about it?' I have no idea. I will cross that bridge when I get there." The TV personality - who starred on the show between 2005 and 2009 - insisted the programme feels like a snapshot in time. Speaking 20 years after its launch, she added: "I feel so old! I guess that's a life time ago, it's so crazy. "I always say it's the one show you can't reboot, because it was like catching this little cult bubble in real time." Holly has been doing her own rewatch of the series, and she explained everyone can take it one of two ways. She explained: "You can watch it two different ways. You can watch it for all the eye candy like you did the first time it came out. "Or, you can watch it knowing all the stuff that's going on behind the scenes and that adds a whole other layer." Meanwhile, Holly admitted while she isn't ruling out a return to reality TV in some form, she has some strict parameters. She said: "I don't know. I always say, I wouldn't do anything about my person life. "I was asked to do the first season of Traitors and I turned it down because I didn't know what it was. "I just thought they were calling me a traitor and I was like, 'no.' " Now, she would reconsider, and even thinks she'd thrive in the castle. She quipped: "I have a good poker face."

Kendra Wilkinson reveals why she 'never bonded' with Holly Madison at the Playboy Mansion
Kendra Wilkinson revealed that she did not form many close friendships during her five years living at the Playboy Mansion as one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends. While appearing on the Him & Her podcast, the reality star, 39, reflected on feeling like the 'third wheel' around housemates and Girls Next Door costars Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt. 'That's the part that was hard,' she explained her not-so-close relationships with Madison, 45, and Marquardt, 51. 'I wasn't really a "girl's girl" at that point in life. I was more of a 'guy's girl,' so we never really bonded.' The mom-of-two, who moved into the Playboy Mansion at age 18, noted that she felt like an outsider around Madison and Marquardt while filming their series. 'I just decided to go with that during the show process,' Wilkinson said. 'Well, I'm just gonna be me and see how this works, rather than try to fit in.' I felt like I was a complete odd man out [in that] whole situation.' Despite never clicking with Madison or Marquardt, Wilkinson spoke about her friendship with Playboy model Jessica Hall, who briefly appeared on The Girls Next Door. Wilkinson's comments come just days after Madison spoke publicly about wanting to repair their relationship. Madison said she was eager to rebuild her relationship with her former Girls Next Door' co-star. 'It would be nice to be on good terms for sure, but I really don't know where she's at. "I look back at our relationship and what went wrong and I see a lot of fault with executive producers who [were] working on her show and my show after we left,' she told Us Weekly. Madison added that she wasn't sure if Wilkinson even remembered 'what [their] original falling out was all about.' 'I just don't know how aware she was of it because at the time, the person who was starting a lot of the drama was a person who was giving her a job. So she doesn't want to see that,' Madison said. Earlier this month, Holly described The Girls Next Door as a 'little cult bubble.' The TV personality starred on the reality series between 2005 and 2009, and Holly believes The Girls Next Door was a snapshot in time. 'I always say it's the one show you can't reboot, because it was like catching this little cult bubble in real time. And you can watch it two different ways. You can watch it for all the eye candy like the first time it came out and say, "Oh my God, look how fun." Or you can watch it knowing about all the stuff going on behind the scenes, and that adds a whole other layer,' she told E! News The reality TV show focused on the lives of Wilkinson, Madison, and Marquardt, who were the three main girlfriends of the late Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. In Madison's 2015 memoir, she described Wilkinson as 'the fakest person [she'd] ever met.' At the time, Wilkinson slammed Madison's book and criticism of her experience in the Playboy Mansion. 'It's a shame that someone can't be appreciative of what something like that has given them,' Wilkinson told Us Weekly. Their public spat reached an all-time high when Wilkinson tweeted about how Madison was on the cover of People Magazine talking about living 'in fear at the mansion.' 'She wasn't in fear with that dick in her a** for a paycheck,' Wilkinson wrote in a since-deleted post. 'That b**ch is in fear now knowing so many of us saw her doing some nasty s**t. She's embarrassed and in shame.'
