Comedian Nikki Glaser is known for her devastating roasts on Hollywood's elite, but the touring star had only kind words to say about Perth as she departed the State following her Friday night show at Perth HPC. Gaining a new legion of fans after hosting the Golden Globes in January, the 41-year-old American brought her popular Alive & Unwell tour to Australia earlier this month. Two Australian celebrities have hilariously parodied the viral Coldplay kiss cam moment at a Sydney comedy show on the weekend. American comedian Nikki Glaser's Australian tour kicked off this week, with the Golden Globes host performing a show in Sydney on Saturday night – and she made sure to take a moment to pay homage to the widely-discussed scandal. During her set the performer offered up her own version of the kiss cam that exposed Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot, with Glaser's parody dubbed the Coldplay Clearly Committed Couple Kiss Cam. Glaser says at one point to the audience as the camera focused on The Project alum Wilkinson, who was being embraced by comedian Hamish Blake. Residents to take up search for missing Grimsby man
West Niagara residents are encouraged to take part Saturday morning in a search for a 72-year-old Grimsby man who has been missing for nearly a week. Wolfgang Glaser was last seen about 7 p.m. on June 21, leaving Teddy's on Main Street. 'He's been coming to Teddy's for over 30 years,' said restaurant owner Simon Duong, who is organizing the search. 'I have maps of Grimsby, Beamsville and Stoney Creek and I have broken (the search area) down into 200 quadrants and want to assign one person to each quadrant.' Duong said anyone wishing to help in the search should come to Teddy's at 9 a.m., where they will receive instructions and a map of their search area. As of Friday afternoon, Duong said he had about 50 volunteer searchers lined up, adding that number could grow to as many as 200 by Saturday morning. 'We'll take what we can get,' Duong said. 'My goal is to (have searchers) spend a half-hour driving around each quadrant.' For more information, see the Teddy's Facebook page. Grimsby resident Wolfgang Glaser is believed to have been driving this silver 2007 Mazda5 hatchback when he was last seen on June 21. Glaser's car was seen near the Niagara Gateway Information Centre on South Service Road near Casablanca Boulevard about 10 minutes after he left Teddy's. He is believed to be driving a silver 2007 Mazda5 hatchback with Ontario licence plate CPYA 061. Glaser is described as white, with brown/grey hair and white facial hair. He was wearing grey pants and a blue shirt with 'REDUCE, REUSE, RETHINK' printed on the back, and he uses a cane. 'If we can find his car, we can get a sense if he's around here,' said Duong, adding his staff told him Glaser appeared to be his typical self and did not show any signs of distress or problems before leaving the restaurant. Duong said Glaser talked about heading over to the Swiss Chalet restaurant on Windward Drive, north of the QEW, but there's no indication he went there. 'From what I know, he doesn't like highway driving,' said Duong. He said Glaser lives near the downtown area. 'He doesn't go far.' Duong said Glaser typically visits a pub on Ontario Street in Grimsby before heading over to Teddy's, where he would usually have a couple of drinks and then go home. 'This time, he didn't go home.' In a recent social media post, Alisha Rullo urged the public to help in Saturday's search. 'I plead with you to find my father,' she said. Meanwhile, police are asking anyone with information about Glaser's whereabouts to call them at 905-688-4111 . Grimsby man missing since Saturday night
The public is being asked for help finding a 72-year-old Grimsby man last seen Saturday evening. Wolfgang Glaser was last seen around 7 p.m. June 21 leaving a bar on Main Street. His car was seen 10 minutes later near the information centre by the QEW and Casablanca Boulevard. Niagara Regional Police said Glaser did not return home and was reported missing 9 a.m. Sunday. Police say it is unusual for Glaser not to check in with his family. He is described as being white, with brown/grey hair with white facial hair. He was wearing grey pants and a blue shirt with 'REDUCE, REUSE, RETHINK' printed on the back. He uses a cane. Police say he may be driving a silver 2007 Mazda5 hatchback with the Ontario licence plate CPYA 061. Anyone with information is asked by police to call 905-688-4111 . Trial date set for Venezuelan woman for crash that killed 11-year-old
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A woman in the country illegally had her day in court after months of demands from a St. Louis County judge. St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Melissa Price Smith called it a race against the clock. 'Several times we thought she was coming back, and we heard there was actually a deportation date where she was going to be sent to Venezuela,' she said. Close Thanks for signing up! 'Due to the fact that Ms. Bracho was in this country illegally, there was an ICE hold. After being released on bond over the objection of the state, she was taken into ICE custody,' Price Smith said. Bracho is facing a long list of felony charges after a car crash on Dunn Road just five days before Christmas in 2023. 'None of this would have happened but for her driving in the wrong lane going at almost twice the speed limit, and that is what we intend to hold her accountable for, because Travis (Wolfe) died because of this, the day before his 12th birthday and it is an extremely sad case,' Jason Glaser, assistant prosecuting attorney, said. Glaser said he spoke with Travis Wolfe's father last week after Bracho appeared in court. 'He's very happy and hopeful that he'll see justice come for his son,' Glaser said. Glaser said Bracho's trial is set for August 11. She is currently being held on a $150,000 cash only bond. 'Regardless of what her immigration status is, she needs to be held accountable,' Price Smith said. 'That family needs to see justice happen.'
