' Grand Galaxy Hotel ', an upcoming thriller-fantasy drama, has found its female lead, again, as actress Shin Si Ah has officially been selected for the role. The decision comes as a shock to many netizens, as the role had originally been offered to actress Go Min Si . Go Min Si will be replaced in the upcoming drama 'Grand Galaxy Hotel' During the cast selection, actress Go Min Si, who is well known for her roles in 'My Sassy Girl' and ' Tastefully Yours ', was offered the lead role in ' Grand Galaxy Hotel'. The actress recently came under a lot of fire and faced a lot of backlash when an anonymous person shared allegations of school violence and bullying against the actress on an online platform. Due to the scandal and growing rumours surrounding the actress, she ended up losing out on a lot of projects, including this role as well. Not only that, but the filming and the overall production process of the drama were pushed back by almost 3 months in order to manage the cast change as well. As a result, actress Shin Si Ah, who has also starred in projects like 'Resident Playbook', 'The Witch: Part 2. The Other One' and 'When Two Guys Fight Over Me', has been selected as the replacement, as per reports from Allkpop. About 'Grand Galaxy Hotel' 'Grand Galaxy Hotel' is said to be the sequel to IU's popular drama 'Hotel Del Luna'. The drama will see Shin Si Ah in the lead actress's role, while the actor Lee Do Hyun , known for 'The Glory' and 'Good, Bad Mother', will be starring opposite her in the male lead role. Written by Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran, the plot follows on after the owner of the No. 1 hotel for the dead is left without an owner. Eun Ha (Lee Do Hyun) steps in as the replacement, while the employee Sang Sun (Shin Si Ah) deals with the sudden change.

Go Min Si replaced by Shin Shi Ah as Grand Galaxy Hotel female lead The decision to replace Go Min Si with Resident Playbook star Shin Shi Ah likely stemmed from the controversies surrounding Go Min Si's past activities. On May 26 this year, Go Min Si was embroiled in school bullying and money extortion accusations. The Tastefully Yours actress faced intense online scrutiny after a post surfaced with the headline– We are victims of actor A's school violence. As per them, it was unfair for A to continue her acting career normally, by hiding her "violent past." They accused her of bullying, extortion, verbal abuse and of threatening disabled students along with her friends since middle school. Although her agency, Mystic Story, quickly denied the allegations, the damage was done and a large number of fans turned their backs against her. Following this, her underage drinking scandal was also revisited, further escalating the matter. The backlash from the scandal may have been a key factor in Hong Sisters' decision to make a cast replacement. However, the change had consequences- sources reveal that the filming of the drama has been pushed back by three months. Cha Eun Woo replaced by Lee Do Hyun as Grand Galaxy Hotel's male lead Cha Eun Woo was offered to star as the protagonist of Grand Galaxy Hotel. However, after careful consideration, he rejected the offer. His decision was based on scheduling conflicts with his upcoming projects. Following that, Lee Do Hyun was cast for the role, making it his first project since military discharge. The series serves as the sequel to IU's Hotel Del Luna, continuing the narrative with a hotel catering to ghosts, now facing a new challenge with its owner's disappearance.

The culinary romantic series ranked at No. 2 among the non-English shows, following Secrets We Keep. It featured in the top 10 list in 44 countries and recorded 44 lakh views. The K-drama that followed Tastefully Yours in the list is Our Unwritten Seoul. Park Bo Young and Park Jinyoung's emotionally-rich romantic drama Our Unwritten Seoul took the #3 spot on the most-watched non-English television series. It recorded 28 lakh views and is trending among top 10 in 40 countries. The show recently dropped its third and fourth episodes and ended on a climatic note, impressing viewers and fetching good viewership.
