Amazon partners GoPuff for ultra-fast UK grocery delivery

Amazon has teamed up with delivery firm GoPuff to provide customers with grocery and home essentials delivery across the UK described as 'ultra-fast'. The partnership enables shoppers to receive items such as fresh food, cleaning supplies, baby essentials, snacks and alcohol within an hour, with the possibility of delivery in as little as 15 minutes. The service utilises GoPuff's micro-fulfilment centres, strategically positioned near customers to ensure rapid delivery. These centres are critical to the service, allowing for a wide range of products to be available for order 24/7 in most locations. Amazon grocery partnerships director Russell Jones stated: 'We are always working to give customers more choice and more convenient options to have their groceries delivered. 'Partnering with GoPuff and other grocery partners is an important way of offering Amazon customers their favourite stores and brands, ordered via our website. The new launch with GoPuff brings our customers access to a convenient and affordable way to access their everyday groceries.' Following initial launches in Birmingham and Salford in May, 2025 the service is now available in areas such as Birmingham, Cambridge, Manchester, Newcastle and Swansea. Amazon's partnership with GoPuff is the latest in a series of collaborations with UK retailers, beginning with Morrisons in 2015 and later including Iceland and Co-op. In July 2025, Amazon announced its plan to invest £40bn ($53.7bn) in the UK between 2025 and 2027 to construct four new fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the country. Amazon offers 15-minute food and drink deliveries via GoPuff deal - has it launched in your area?

Amazon now offers 15-minute grocery deliveries in areas across Britain as part of a new partnership with US firm GoPuff. The US tech giant said shoppers can order thousands of grocery products, including fresh food and alcohol, for delivery from local 'micro-fulfilment centres'. Orders are available for arrival in under an hour and as fast as 15 minutes, available all day, every day, according to Amazon. Pennsylvania-based GoPuff was one of many ultra-fast grocery delivery companies that expanded quickly during the pandemic when lockdowns heightened consumer demand. Turkey-based rival Getir pulled out of the UK, Europe and the US last year after its finances came under pressure and it kickstarted a cost-cutting drive. Amazon's new UK offering follows an initial launch in May, with services rolled out to residents in Birmingham and Salford. The service is now available in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Chessington, Coventry, Derby, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham, Salford, Sheffield and Swansea. It joins grocery retailers Morrisons and Iceland, which are available to Amazon's UK customers. The online share of UK food sales skyrocketed during the pandemic, but has since stabilised. Around 9 per cent of all food retail sales were made online as of December 2024, compared to a 2021 peak of 12 per cent, according to Statistica. Russell Jones, Amazon's director of grocery partnerships, said: 'We are always working to give customers more choice and more convenient options to have their groceries delivered. 'The new launch with GoPuff brings our customers access to a convenient and affordable way to access their everyday groceries.'

Tom Brady Details The Motivation Behind The Launch Of His New Product ‘GOAT Gummies'

Tom Brady details the inspiration behind his newest entrepreneurial venture, GOAT Gummies, in this ... More one-on-one interview. (Photo by) It's only fitting that the greatest of all time is releasing an organic gummies line. Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl champion, has made a name for himself in the business world during his post-playing career. But now he's dipping into the vegan snacks business. The 47-year-old is launching "GOAT Gummies," which will be released starting today exclusively through GoPuff, an online food ordering website. Brady is well-known for his TB12 diet, a high-protein, plant-based diet. As part of that diet, he prioritizes organic foods, which partly led to the creation of "GOAT Gummies." The selling point is that it's an organic vegan snack made with real fruit. "I met the founders (GoPuff) and they knew my background in health and wellness," says Brady in a one-on-one interview. "We wanted to develop some products that we thought the consumer would love, and we found this unique product. It's the first product I've developed with them and there's more to come." The official release is on June 4 and will see three different flavors as part of the launch: sweet rush, sour burst and tropic fusion. As part of the partnership with GoPuff -- Brady also invests in the instant commerce company -- consumers can have the product delivered to their door in as fast as 15 minutes. He explains why this organic vegan snack stands out compared to others in the marketplace, one that is rather competitive in today's age. Many consumers are very health conscious and there's a number of brands trying to grab the peoples' attention with fit products. Another point Brady wants to make clear about the release of his new product – he was hands-on from the start when it came to creating it. It isn't some product with his name slapped on it with commercials featuring him. "There's no artificial sweetener," says Brady. "They're amazing. No artificial dyes, no artificial flavors. There's no crap in it. It's organic, it's vegan, it's real. I was hands-on from the start, and I'm conscious about what I put in my body, and I know other people are as well. Let's find some things where you don't sacrifice taste, but they're better for you than what's currently out there." Tom Brady's newest entrepreneurial venture will see him release a product line called "GOAT ... More Gummies," which is an organic vegan snack made with real fruit. As mentioned before, Brady is well known for the "TB12 Method," releasing a book in 2017 detailing his diet and workout regimen. It's also a large reason why the greatest quarterback of all time was able to play until the age of 45 and he did it while still playing at a high level. Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the playoffs in his final season and set the single-season record for completions (490). Brady makes it very clear that while he abides by his own diet, he's not trying to force that on other people. The future Hall of Fame quarterback encourages people to eat how they want to eat, but he wants to make "fun" snacks that may be a bit healthier than what they currently have. "I realize it's always about, how can we do a little bit better," says Brady. "I don't necessarily want people to always eat how I eat. I have a pretty good regimen and I've been very diligent for a long period of time. But also people, they like to eat the way they eat, but how can I create some things that are fun, that they're going to enjoy, that are a little bit healthier than the things that they currently have? That's really the impetus of what we've done here with this partnership with GoPuff." Brady, who lives in Miami, met the founders of GoPuff in South Florida four years ago. The former 23-year NFL veteran says he initially met the founders, Yakir Gola and Rafael Ilishayev, during COVID. He made an investment shortly after. The partnership initially began with Brady endorsing the platform, but during those early conversations, he had already brought up the idea of having "fun" products to create and release through the platform. After a lot of "trial and error" and "taste testing" as Brady puts it, "GOAT Gummies" was created. GoPuff was founded 12 years ago by two college students at Drexel University and it was once valued at $40 billion back in 2021. Among the major metropolitan areas it serves outside of Miami is Philadelphia (the company's headquarters location), Chicago, Nashville and Phoenix. The entrepreneurship -- which Brady can relate to with his TB12 brand and multiple other business ventures -- of the GoPuff brand is a big reason why he's investing in the company and why he's chosen to associate with it. "That's really the impetus of what we've done here with this partnership with GoPuff and I love this commercial engine that GoPuff has, and the amazing entrepreneurship of the founders and what they've created," says Brady. "We met four years ago and I live in Miami and they live in Miami, and we've developed a great relationship, and we always want to do more things together and this is the first of many things we're doing." Tom Brady's newest entrepreneurial venture will see him release a product line called "GOAT ... More Gummies," which is an organic vegan snack made with real fruit. This is the first product that Brady is releasing exclusively through GoPuff with more to come. While Brady wouldn't detail what future products will be released through GoPuff, he hammers home the "natural" and "organic" traits that have become synonymous with his brand. "The answer is yes," says Brady when asked if he's planning to release more products. "We're going to do things that are really natural, organic to me. Obviously, I love gummies -- that was kind of the first thing. What can we do that's a healthier option than what's out there? Great list of gummies. What are some other things that we want to do and we talked about 10 different things. We'll see as it goes." Brady earned nearly $333 million during his NFL career -- third-most in league history -- and has a net worth of around $300 million, making him one of the wealthiest athletes. His goal when it comes to his future products through GoPuff is making more enjoyable, healthier and tastier food options for people. Another selling point? The fact that these products can be delivered quickly to consumers' doorsteps through the GoPuff platform. "The best part is, how can we make things enjoyable? How can they taste great? How can we do things that are better for you, products that you can get into your hands in a very short period of time? This insta commerce platform that GoPuff has developed really allows thousands of everyday products available at the click of a button. It's fast, it's easy, and that's where the world's at right now."
