Clipse, Pharrell Preview Kendrick Lamar's Highly Anticipated 'Chains & Whips' Verse
The Clipse and Pharrell are full steam ahead in rolling out their forthcoming album Let God Sort Em Out. The trio previewed Kendrick Lamar's highly anticipated verse on 'Chains & Whips' this week. Footage surfaced of the Virginia legends hanging on a rooftop in Paris rapping along to the record in front of a crowd of people. K. Dot's verse covered a few topics, such as Hip-Hop being dead 'again,' him giving all of his money to Rakim, the West Coast being on top, his experiences in therapy, and more. 'I'm not the candidate to vibe with/ I don't f**k with the kumbaya sh*t/ All that talent must be God-sent/ I sent yo a** back to the comics,' he rapped. There wasn't anything in particular that sounded targeted at Drake, which caused people to question why Def Jam and Universal Music Group were so opposed to clearing the song. Veteran journalist Rob Markman, who heard the song early, labeled the verse as the Compton rapper's 'State Of The Union' as opposed to being a diss. Nonetheless, as Push told GQ, his label and their parent label were concerned about the optics of two of Drizzy's foes linking up amid the ongoing defamation lawsuit. Check out a preview of the verse below. One rapper that Pusha T has held no punches about is Travis Scott. In the Clipse's recent single 'So Be It,' he went full throttle at the Houston star. It's no secret that Push holds Pharrell dear, so when Scott interrupted their recording session in Paris to play his July 2023 LP Utopia without playing Drake's verse on 'Meltdown,' the Daytona rapper took that personally since both he and Skateboard P ended up receiving shots. 'He don't have no picks, no loyalty to nobody,' Push stated. 'He'll jump around whatever he feels is hot or cling onto whatever he feels is hot. He said despite the fact that he had become a mutli-millionaire, he would continue to work. 'I have my own plans. I want to travel the world with my wife and make unforgettable memories with my winnings. He bought a System 4 ticket, that won him RM10,382,079.25 and another RM672 as System Play bonus. Meanwhile, the Sports Toto 4D Jackpot 1 (i-System) game on May 31 had a total of 110 winners from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Sarawak. The winners shared RM28,069,403.00 from the total of RM34,511,559.64. STM Lottery confirmed the recent big winnings. On May 31, the Sports Toto 4D Jackpot 1 (i-System) was won by several winners from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Sarawak who placed bets on the numbers 5720, 6202 and 6408, sharing a jackpot amount of RM28,069,403.00.

Beyoncé's Daughter Rumi Carter Celebrates Her 8th Birthday Onstage at the Cowboy Carter Tour
Beyoncé's Gemini twins, Rumi and Sir Carter, are celebrating a new milestone. The pop star's two youngest children turn 8 today, and to celebrate, she wished them a happy birthday at last night's Cowboy Carter Tour stop in London at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. During the performance of 'Protector,' the segment of the show where Rumi joins her mom and sister Blue Ivy onstage, Beyoncé told screaming fans, 'Everybody say Happy Birthday, Rumi.' In a video posted on X, Blue, 13, is seen cradling Rumi's chin as the crowd screams. 'Say happy birthday, Sir,' Beyoncé continued. 'Mommy loves you!' Rumi then turned around and gave her mom a big hug. In a recent rare interview with GQ, Beyoncé opened up about being a mom of three. 'Raising three kids isn't easy,' she said. 'The older they get, the more they become their own individuals with unique needs, hobbies, and social lives. My twins are God-sent. Parenting constantly teaches you about yourself. It takes a lot of prayer and patience. I love it. It's grounding and fulfilling.' She added, 'My kids come with me everywhere I go. They come to my office after school, and they are in the studio with me. They are in dance rehearsals. It's natural that they would learn my choreography.' Blue Ivy Carter wasn't the only one of Beyoncé's children to take the stage with the singer during the opening night of the Cowboy Carter Tour. Blue's sister, 7-year-old Rumi, made her performance debut as well. Clad in a gold minidress, Rumi hugged her mother during the sweet moment. At this point, Rumi's twin brother, Sir, is the only one of Beyoncé's children yet to join the singer onstage. But with the Cowboy Carter Tour running for 32 stops across North America and Europe until July 26, there are still plenty of opportunities for Sir to have his big moment.
