Walton Goggins and Ron Funches join animated movie Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture

Walton Goggins and Ron Funches have signed on to the animated film Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture. The 53-year-old actor and the Inside Out 2 star, 42, have boarded director Michael Skolnick's upcoming sci-fi comedy alongside Chris Parnell and Shondrella Avery. Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture - which is currently in production - takes place in 1962, where fallout from atomic weapons testing has brought an unexpected new lifeform into the world - mutant mid-century furniture. At the heart of the story is Harry, a 10-year-old boy struggling with loss, who finds unlikely allies in a wise old recliner and a spirited ottoman. Together, they must protect their fellow furniture creatures from the ruthless ambitions of General Frank Holtzman, a military leader determined to wipe them out. Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture will also star Stephanie Beatriz, Tim Meadows, Andy Richter, Matt Walsh, Seth Green, Pamela Adlon, Lou Ferrigno and Clare Grant. As well as directing the movie, Skolnick will serve as co-writer and producer on Harry and the Mutant Mid-Century Furniture alongside Keegan Cotton, Jordan Lewandowski and Seth Morton. Goggins could recently be seen in the Prime Video show Fallout, which is based on Bethesda Game Studios' iconic survival-action video game franchise of the same name. Fallout follows Lucy (Ella Purnell), a sheltered young woman who emerges from her underground Vault into a devastated, post-nuclear America for the first time. As she navigates the violent wasteland, she uncovers dark secrets about the world above - and the truth behind the Vaults themselves. Work on the second season is currently underway, and Goggins recently teased that the next batch of episodes was on 'a whole 'nother level'. Speaking with GamesRadar+, The White Lotus star said: 'I can tell you, being a big fan of the first season, that I'm so proud of - I'm not talking about my work, but all of the work that so many artists kind of put into that, like all the love that went into that. 'This is a whole 'nother level. I wasn't prepared for where the story was gonna go and how fully fleshed out on the other side of introducing this world to people. 'Now it is so lived in as if it's been there for two hundred years. It's really quite something. I can't wait for people to see it.' Goggins - who plays Ghoul in the show - also promised the second season of Fallout would blow the first 'out of the water'. He told Deadline in February: 'We're in the middle of filming it right now, we've been at it since November, and I can tell you that I thought season one was extraordinary, personally, I was very pleased with it. 'This blows it out of the water, what these writers have done and the artisans that have come together to tell this story. It's really gonna be something. I can't wait for people to see it. We're working really hard to make that happen.' While an exact release date for Fallout season two hasn't been announced yet, Amazon confirmed it would hit Prime Video before the end of 2025.

'The White Lotus' stars Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood rubbish feud rumours

During Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood's lengthy interview published in Variety last week, The White Lotus co-stars didn't just go to great lengths to dispel rumours that they feuded off-screen while playing star-crossed lovers on the hit HBO show. They also revealed that they worked together very closely on filming an 'intimate sex scene' involving their two characters, Rick and Chelsea, for the season's final episode. But the actors were disappointed to discover, while watching the episode when it aired, that the scene had been cut. The third season of The White Lotus involved intrigue among several groups of guests at a luxury Thai resort. Goggins played the mysterious Rick, a man with a shady past. Meanwhile, Wood starred as Rick's free-spirited girlfriend Chelsea. Rick and Chelsea share 'a complicated' love story, as Variety explained, because he's obsessed with tracking down a man in Thailand who he believes killed his father. Chelsea, who sees her and Rick as 'soul mates,' keeps trying to pull him back from his dark spiral. It does not end well. Goggins and Wood told Variety that they immediately connected as co-stars, within a couple minutes of first meeting for lunch before the production started. 'The minute she walked around the corner, I felt, 'This is gonna work,'' Goggins said. 'Two minutes into the conversation, it felt like I've known this person for 100 years.' Together, they worked on creating the arc of their characters' love story, which included two sex scenes. 'We designed the whole journey, even down to the fact that Chelsea gets on Rick in the first (love) scene,' Wood said. 'Then in the last episode, it was Rick picking Chelsea up. It was so, so delicate.' In the final episode, Rick and Chelsea have an emotional reunion on the beach, then go to their hotel suite to discuss their relationship. Wood told Variety it had a 'similar feel' to the 'that's the plan' scene at at earlier breakfast, when they confirmed their love for each other. This moment in the hotel suite also involved that very 'intimate' sex scene, which Goggins said showed 'two people who were free. It was this very long, suspended moment of these two people looking at each other. It was so powerful.' After describing the scene, Variety writer Emily Longeretta said that Goggins picked up her recorder and yelled a message to Mike White, the creator of The White Lotus . Goggins said: '(Expletive) you, Mike! We want a director's cut!' Elsewhere in the interview, Goggins and Wood pointedly denied the rumour that they feuded. The rumour was in part fueled by co-star Jason Isaacs hinting to The Guardian that there had been on-set drama with 'alliances that formed and broke, romances that formed and broke, friendships that formed and broke.' Goggins and Wood told Variety there was no drama between them. 'There is no feud,' Goggins said. 'I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me. This is Goldie Hawn. This is Meg Ryan. She can do anything, and she will. You watch what the next 20 years of her experience will be.' Fans of The White Lotus also speculated that there had been a rift between the actors because they briefly unfollowed each other on Instagram after the season finale aired. They have since refollowed each other, according to People . Wood lamented people's obsession with celebrities following and unfollowing one another on social media as 'irrelevant,' though indicative of 'where we're at culturally.' Goggins, meanwhile, got emotional while trying to explain that unfollowing Wood after the show wrapped was his way of processing the experience. 'I knew what we had gone through, and I knew how close that we had gotten, and I needed to begin to process saying goodbye to Rick and Chelsea,' Goggins said – Mercury News/Tribune News Service

Walton Goggins' Wife Nadia Conners Breaks Silence on Aimee Lou Wood Speculation

Walton Goggins' wife, Nadia Conners, addressed speculation about his relationship to White Lotus costar Aimee Lou Wood. 'It's odd to see [the speculation], but it's an indication of how much people were invested in the fictional characters,' Conners, 55, said in an interview with Hello! Magazine published on Friday, May 16. 'I take it as a sign that he's become quite popular.' Goggins, 53, and Wood, 31, played doomed lovers Rick and Chelsea in the third season of the HBO Emmy-winning anthology series. The costars took part in promotion of the show together, but fans noticed they soon stopped following one another on social media. Goggins reacted to Saturday Night Live's April parody of The White Lotus via Instagram by calling the sketch 'amazzzingggg' whereas Wood found the spoof 'mean and unfunny' due to SNL cast member Sarah Sherman depicting her with fake teeth to resemble her gap. (Sherman later offered a mea culpa by sending Wood flowers and Wood insisted she never personally blamed the comedian.) Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood's Sweetest Friendship Moments: From 'The White Lotus' and Beyond Speculation about the pair reached a fever pitch earlier this month when Goggins walked out of an interview with the London Times due to repeated questions about his relationship with Wood. Goggins initially told the reporter he wasn't 'going to have that conversation' before ending the interview when Wood was brought up again. 'There's no conversation to be had about that. [It's like] sharing politics on social media — it's in a vacuum,' he insisted. However, the two White Lotus stars started following each other again on Instagram shortly after. Wood also offered her support for Goggins hosting SNL on May 10 while attending the Met Gala in New York City on May 5. '[Working with Walton] was the best thing ever,' Wood added. 'He's going to be incredible doing SNL. It's the perfect thing for him to do. It's going to be hilarious. I'm so excited to see it.' Fans hoping to see Wood reunite with Goggins on Saturday Night Live were likely disappointed since she didn't appear — though White Lotus cast member Sam Rockwell did cameo alongside Goggins on the NBC sketch show last weekend. As for Goggins' marriage, he was first wed to Leanne Kaun in 2001 but she tragically died in 2004. He married Conners in 2011 and they share a son, Augustus, born 2011. Walton Goggins Says He Would Call Pedro Pascal If He 'Needed an Intervention' Amid 'White Lotus' Fame In her new interview with Hello!, Conners spoke about writing and directing The Uninvited, a comedy-drama about a dinner party gone horribly wrong. Goggins starred in the movie as a drug-addicted Hollywood talent agent, but Conners insisted her marriage did not inspire the film. "Walton was reading through the script with me at home and I was like, 'Oh my God.' What he brings to the character, it was sharp, almost killer energy,' she said. 'I wrote it about a marriage, but not my marriage, which concerned him – he was like: 'But I'm not this guy.' It was really important for him to say that he was not this guy. I said: 'I know, but you're a great actor, so you can pretend.'' The Uninvited is now playing in theaters.

Walton Goggins' Wife Nadia Finally Breaks Silence on ‘Other Woman' Allegations About Aimee Lou Wood

Weeks after the news exploded about a reported feud between Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood, it seems it all dissipated. And now, Goggins' wife, Nadia Conners, is putting in her two cents, specifically about those romance rumors between her husband and Wood. Recently, Conners, with whom Goggins has been married to since Aug 2011, said in a recent interview with Hello! Magazine, what she thinks about those 'other woman' rumors. 'It's odd to see it, but it's an indication of how much people were invested in the fictional characters,' she said. 'I take it as a sign that he's become quite popular.' More from SheKnows Aimee Lou Wood & Walton Goggins Made This Subtle Move to Squash Rumors Ahead of the 2025 Met Gala Now, here's a recap that has internet sleuths going into overdrive. Earlier this year, Goggins and Wood unfollowed each other almost instantly after the season finale of The White Lotus aired, except fans noticed Wood still follows Goggins' one account: Walton Goggins Goggle Glasses. Before that, though, fellow co-star John Isaacs started feud rumors months prior in Feb 2025. Then came Goggins and Wood's starkly different responses to the White Potus SNL skit: where Wood called out how they portrayed her, and Goggins couldn't stop praising the skit even after Wood's feelings were publicized. There was also the possibility of them working together again soon, the Instagram story artwork, and him publicly praising her. However, at the 2025 Met Gala, they squashed feud rumors for good, but the romance rumors remained. The pair played on-screen lovers in The White Lotus, and everyone started to assume an affair took place after certain photos came out. Not only was there Goggins' majorly long post featuring selfie after selfie with Wood, but there were photos shared on a Reddit thread that were taken between takes, with the pair looking rather close. Walton Goggins Tearfully Explains Why He Unfollowed Aimee Lou Wood on Instagram

Walton Goggins is finally explaining the great mystery of our time: Why the actor unfollowed his White Lotus season three co-star Aimee Lou Wood on Instagram after the finale aired. Or, at least, Goggins is giving a detailed reason as to why he did it. Readers can judge for themselves — and most assuredly will — as to whether there's more to the story. The duo have been on the receiving end of feud rumors, while their co-star, Jason Isaacs, has heavily hinted at on-set drama, without naming names ('There were alliances that formed and broke, romances that formed and broke, friendships that formed and broke,' Isaacs told The Guardian. 'It's a long period of time for people to be away from their family with an open bar and all the wildness being in Thailand allows'). More from The Hollywood Reporter 'Lilo & Stitch' Live-Action Remake Ignites Debate Over "Harmful" Changes to Original's Story Documentary About Blackpink's Lisa in Production Mike White, the Guy Behind the Most Prestigious Prestige TV Series, Can't Stop Doing Reality Shows Now Goggins and Wood — who played doomed lovers Rick and Chelsea on the HBO anthology hit — seemed ready to clear up any such gossip as awards season gets underway. During a new interview with Variety, Goggins and Wood tackled the Instagram controversy head on. But first, they 'embraced for 30 seconds' (which somebody apparently timed) and repeatedly held hands and exchanged compliments during the joint interview ('You have the most beautiful smile in the world, you know that,' Goggins told her). 'There is no feud,' Goggins declared. 'I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me. This is Goldie Hawn. This is Meg Ryan. She can do anything, and she will. You watch what the next 20 years of her experience will be … She is love and I know that I am that to her. We care about each other very deeply.' As for The Unfollowing, Wood said, 'Why is everyone obsessing over Instagram? That is irrelevant. We don't give a shite about Instagram … Eventually I just started to sit back and watch these people making something out of absolutely nothing.' Goggins said he was ready to 'put this to bed.' He first said that he tends to do a firm goodbye when leaving projects. 'When I left Justified … I didn't talk to [Timothy Olyphant] for almost two years,' he said. 'I've done that with every single thing that I've done.' Then Goggins noted his real-life history with Thailand, which he's discussed previously. The actor first visited the country while grieving his wife's 2004 suicide and then his time on the White Lotus coincidentally returned him to the same location. 'My catharsis in this experience was different than other people's, because of my history in this place,' the actor explained while 'beginning to cry.' 'I knew what [Wood and I] had gone through, and I knew how close that we had gotten, and I needed to begin to process saying goodbye to Rick and Chelsea. And I knew that that was going to take a while for me, so I let her know, 'This is what I've gotta do.' And she was extremely supportive about that.' Added Goggins: 'I needed to just back away from everyone. I haven't spoken to anyone. I couldn't handle it. Judge me or don't. I don't give a fuck what you think. This is my process. Rick means everything to me, and Chelsea means everything to me. And so that's what I needed to do for me to process all of this.' But then, Goggins reportedly picked up his phone and re-followed Wood on Instagram. '[It was] just a part of me just saying goodbye to this character so that now Aimee and I will be friends for fucking ever,' he added.
