NexGold Announces Voting Results from its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders
TORONTO, June 26, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — NexGold Mining Corp. (TSXV: NEXG; OTCQX: NXGCF) ('NexGold' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce results from its 2025 Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders (the 'Meeting') held earlier today. A total of 50,604,879 common shares ('Shares') were voted in person or represented by proxy at the Meeting, representing approximately 32.11% of the votes attached to all the outstanding Shares as at the record date of the Meeting. Election of Directors At the Meeting, all nominees listed in the Company's management information circular dated May 12, 2025 were elected as directors of the Company to serve until the next annual meeting of shareholders or until their successors are elected or appointed. NexGold VP Sustainability Receives Prestigious Mining Society of Nova Scotia Medal

The Mining Society Medal is awarded in recognition of exceptional service rendered to the mining industry in the Province of Nova Scotia and is decided by a special committee. The Mining Society of Nova Scotia is an independent society affiliated with the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) with a rich history dating back to the 1890s in Nova Scotia. NexGold Receives Cabinet Approval for the Crown Land Lease at the Goldboro Gold Project
TORONTO, May 22, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NexGold Mining Corp. (TSXV: NEXG; OTCQX: NXGCF) ('NexGold' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce that the Crown Land Lease and License for the Goldboro Gold Project ('Goldboro' or the 'Project') has been approved by Cabinet and is being granted by the Government of Nova Scotia. The Crown Land Lease and License is an integral step towards the development of the Project and will allow for the potential for infrastructure development on the lands for which it covers, and gives the Company the ability to build and operate an open pit mine, with the associated processing, tailings management and other associate infrastructure (waste rock storage, overburden storage, etc). The lease covers an area of 779 hectares and the License covers an additional 97 hectares of Crown land.
