ATEEZ Makes Debut On The Billboard Hot 100 With Title Track 'Lemon Drop'
The Billboard 100 charts, also known simply as the Hot 100, are the standard music industry record charts of popular streamed tracks around the world. Predominantly championed by songs from the US, recent years show the emergence of K-pop groups on the charts, such as the likes of BTS (방탄소년단) and Stray Kids (스트레이 키즈). In a winning feat, ATEEZ (에이티즈) have made their appearance on the Billboard 100 charts with their title track 'Lemon Drop' on 24th June 2025. Debuting at No.69 on the Hot 100, the win for ATEEZ marks them as the third K-pop boy group to appear on the charts, alongside BTS and Stray Kids. Notably, 'Lemon Drop', the title track to their 12th mini album 'Golden Hour: Part 3', also appears on other Billboard tallies. They debuted at No.1 on Billboard's 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, while the album stole another No.1 spot on the 'Top Album Sales' chart and 'World Albums' chart. 'Lemon Drop' also made headlines with their feat at No. 9 on Billboard's 'Digital Song Sales' chart. Netizens flood the comments with congratulations and love for the group. Twitter user @/WiseTroof commented, 'From the underground to the Hot 100, ATEEZ did not just join the list, they earned their place in gold. The climb is real, and so is the impact'. Despite their groundbreaking achievement, netizens have also come out to speculate the standings of the Billboard 100 with Twitter user @/DelindaMangwa commenting, 'No radio, no US chart entry, no Spotify entry. How did ATEEZ debut at 69? I'm really curious!'. Despite speculations and controversies, we wish ATEEZ a big congratulations on being the 3rd K-pop boy group to appear on the charts! Ateez climbs to No. 2 on Billboard 200 chart
Ateez's 12th EP becomes group's seventh album to make Top 10 on Billboard albums chart Global boy group Ateez has debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, the main US albums chart, with the group's 12th mini album 'Golden Hour: Part 3." According to Billboard on Sunday, 'Golden Hour: Part 3' landed at No. 2, just behind American country star Morgan Wallen's 'I'm the Problem.' The Billboard 200 ranks albums based on traditional physical sales, as well as streaming equivalent albums (SEA) and track equivalent albums (TEA) — metrics that convert streaming and digital downloads into album units. During the recent tracking period, 'Golden Hour: Part 3' recorded 105,000 album unit sales. Among these, 101,500 were physical album sales, placing the album at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Album Sales chart for the week. The album also tallied 3,000 SEA and 500 TEA. Ateez now has seven albums that have entered the Top 10 of the Billboard 200. The group previously topped the chart with its second full-length album 'The World Ep. Fin: Will" and its 11th mini album 'Golden Hour: Part 2.' The recent album's main track 'Lemon Drop' has also stayed strong on global music charts. The track topped both the real-time and daily charts on Bugs upon release, and also ranked high on the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 51 countries and regions. On June 16, the group released multiple reinterpretations of 'Lemon Drop,' including a techno sound remix as well as Speed Up and Speed Down versions, offering fresh takes on the same track. Meanwhile, Ateez is set to kick off its 2025 world tour 'In Your Fantasy' with highly anticipated tour-opening concerts at Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, on July 5 and 6.

Ateez returns with cool summer vibe
Group promises 'many albums ahead,' hopes to share good news about its future soon Boy band Ateez has returned with its 12th EP, opting for a looser and cooler vibe compared to its usual intensity in time for the summber season. Ateez's 'Golden Hour: Part 3' was released seven months after its predecessor and signals a notable shift in sound and attitude. Leader Hongjoong underscored that the release, consisting of five tracks including the main track 'Lemon Drop,' is full of the feeling of a fresh new summer. ''Lemon Drop' is a summer song with a story of sweet, fresh confession. I've heard that this year's summer will be really hot, and this track might be the way to cool things down,' said Hongjoong during the press conference held in Mapo-gu, Seoul, Thursday. Wooyoung described the main track as 'addictive,' with a captivating hook and choreography. Compared to the group's signature performances, 'Lemon Drop' brings a looser, breezier R&B hip-hop vibe. 'Our last main track had a heavy, refined charm, but 'Lemon Drop' is bright and refreshing,' said Mingi. 'Many of the B-sides also remind us of summer nights, so we hope fans take interest in them too.' Ateez has steadily built a global presence in recent years, wrapping up its world tour recently. The group's 11th EP, 'Golden Hour: Part. 2,' released in November 2024, topped the Billboard 200 chart and reached No. 4 on the UK's Official Albums Chart. 'We're thankful to our fans for helping us achieve such great results on the Billboard 200 and other charts,' said Yeosang. 'Rather than feeling pressured by chart performance, we just hope to create meaningful memories and stay healthy during our activities.' Following the release, Ateez will embark on another world tour in July. 'We're including performances fans have repeatedly asked for, and trying out new concepts we've never attempted before,' shared Yunho. Now in its seventh year — a critical point in the K-pop industry often tied to contract renewals — the group was asked about their future as a team. 'The eight of us have been thinking a lot about what more we can show together. We'll do our best to share good news with you in the near future,' Hongjoong responded. Though this album signals a new side of Ateez, the members emphasized that their drive to evolve hasn't changed. 'What we think is 'cool' is having the courage to try new things without fear,' said San. 'We still have many albums ahead, and we'll keep working hard to show you even better versions of ourselves.'
