Kapil Sharma says Ravi Kishan touches wife's feet before going to bed, Ajay Devgn takes a dig at Navjot Singh Sidhu: ‘Inka ek rumaal politics mei hai, ek cricket mei…'
Ajay Devgn seems to be on fire on the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. The actor, who is famously known as the man of few words, seemed to be in a talkative mood on Kapil's show. He actively pulled the leg of the comedian, its permanent guest Navjot Singh Sidhu as well as actor-politician and his Son of Sardaar 2 co-star Ravi Kishan. On Thursday, Netflix dropped a teaser of their upcoming episode featuring actors Ajay Devgn, Vindu Dara Singh, Ravi Kishan, and Mrunal Thakur. It also gave a glimpse of Kapil Sharma, Navjot Singh Sidhu and the characters of Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda. The teaser opened with Kapil Sharma reading out letters from Ajay Devgn's fans. He read: 'Gangaram Ji from Bhilai has written, 'Ajay sir, your Golmaal series is a comedic hit. Your Dhamaal series is a hit. You do comedy in your films. But why do you act so serious when you are on comedy shows?' To this, Ajay gave a witty reply. He said pointing towards Kapil, 'Please tell Gangaram Ji, I earn pay cheque for the films I do. When I show up here (Kapil's show), you are the one cashing in!' The actor then moved to Navjot Singh Sidhu and stated, 'Sidhu paaji ne ek rumaal cricket mein dali hai, ek rumaal politics mein aur yaha toh puri chadar hai (Sidhu paaji has secured his place in cricket, politics and has laid a full-blown bedsheet on this show!)' This left everybody in splits. ALSO READ | Ali Fazal says filmmaking is not corporate job, reacts to debate stirred by Deepika Padukone: 'Genre changes working style' Kapil Sharma then moved to his other guest Ravi Kishan. Talking about him, he said, 'I have heard that Ravi bhai touches his wife's feet before going to bed.' This prompted a reaction from Mrunal Thakur who went all 'Aww.' Even before, Ravi could reply to Kapil, Ajay Devgn intruded as he said, 'The guiltier a man is, the more he touches his wife's feet.' He further added, 'Neta ke haath mein mic nahi dena chahiye. Tune iske mooh mein laga diya hai. (They say never hand a mic to a politician, but you have put it right in his mouth.)' Listening to Ajay Devgn's statement, Ravi Kishan jumps out of his seat as he breaks into laughter. Ajay Devgn's next targets Kapil. He hilariously comments on the comedian's weight loss journey and says, 'Log weight lose karte hai. Tune itna kar liya hai ki tere naak pe bhi weight lose hogaya hai (Most people lose weight the usual way, but you have shed so much that even you nose looks lighter and sharper!)' This prompted Kapil to say, 'Ajay sir aaj front foot par khel rahe hai.' The newest episode will feature the cast of Son of Sardaar 2. It will stream this Saturday on Netflix at 8 PM.

'Panchayat' actor Asif Khan suffers heart attack amid health issues, says 'Life is short and...'
The actor wrote- 'Realising after watching this for the past 36 hours. Life is short; don't take one day for granted.' read more 'Panchayat' actor Asif Khan suffered a heart attack at the age of 34 and the actor penned a note on Instagram and revealed how he's suffering from some health issues. The actor wrote- 'Realising after watching this for the past 36 hours. Life is short; don't take one day for granted. Everything can change in a moment; be grateful for all you have and all that you are. Remember who is more important to you and always cherish them. Life is a gift, and we are blessed.' STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD He added, 'Over the past few hours, I've been dealing with some health issues that required hospitalisation. I'm grateful to share that I'm now on the road to recovery and feeling much better. I truly appreciate all the love, concern, and well-wishes. Your support means the world to me. I'll be back very soon.' Panchayat season 4 There's something about recurring web series. Pankaj Tripathi's Criminal Justice has been renewed for four seasons with zero reasons. It can be called as the Golmaal or Housefull of the OTT platform. It's almost debatable to see the terrific and tenacious Panchayat coming back with season four as well. It all began in 2020 and now the lived-in characters of Phulera return. There was something refreshing about the world that we saw five years ago about an outsider who tries to make his own space and station in a world he's completely oblivious too. This could be Jitendra Kumar's Swades. At first, he's a complete headless chicken until he begins to absorb the stench and fragrance of the milieu he's been thrown in. Panchayat seems to have got too enamoured by the success and spotlight of the first two seasons that it came back for two more. In economics, there's a concept of law of diminishing marginal utility. There's a graph that goes right up and then comes crashing down to negative. Here, the line doesn't go to its absolute nadir fortunately. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD

Son of Sardaar 2 trailer: Ajay Devgn pretends to be Sunny Deol from Border in a comedy that tries too hard. Watch
Son of Sardaar 2 trailer: Ajay Devgn has a few franchises under his belt and while films like Drishyam, Raid, Golmaal appeared to be the kind that had the potential to turn into a franchise, no one, not even some of his ardent fans, expected him to come out with a sequel of his 2012 film Son of Sardaar. The first film was set in Punjab, and the new film's trailer opens with the text asking, 'Will he survive Scotland?' The trailer then shows Ajay's character watching an older woman performing a pole dance, and as she collapses, the film tries to make a joke on 'Bebe marr gayi (Old woman is dead).' The trailer then proceeds to introduce a gamut of characters who seem to be here for a wedding. At one point, Ajay starts pretending he is Sunny Deol from Border, as Ravi Kishan's character speaks incorrect English. Mrunal Thakur plays Ajay's love interest here. The film also stars Mukul Dev in his last role. The actor passed away in May 2024. Sanjay Mishra, Vindu Dara Singh, Dolly Ahluwalia and Neeru Bajwa also star in the film. Son of Sardaar released in 2012 and also starred Sonakshi Sinha. Back then, the film made around Rs 100 crore, as per Bollywood Hungama. The film clashed at the box office with Yash Chopra's last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan. The movie released just a month after Chopra's sudden passing. It also led to some controversy between YRF and Ajay Devgn as he filed a complaint with Competition Commission of India (CCI) and accused YRF of trying to secure more screens for their film. In a recent interview, Kajol, who is married to Ajay, and has had a long work association with YRF said she felt 'helpless' when this happened. She shared with The Lallantop, 'Fights are always difficult, especially when they remain unresolved for some time. At that point, when you have a situation like that in front of you, both parties were standing for themselves. As somebody who was connected to both sides, I felt helpless. You have to wait for time to pass so that the feelings subside. So that things can become ok again.' Son of Sardaar 2 has been directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. He is known for directing Punjabi films like Godday Godday Chaa and Kali Jotta. Son of Sardaar 2 releases on July 25.
