Dumbbells to kettlebells: Kareena Kapoor's intense workout routine is power-packed, fans call it ‘inspirational'
Kareena Kapoor is a fitness enthusiast, and one of her workout videos that surfaced online showed the grit behind her glam. A workout video posted by her fitness trainer, Mahesh, on Instagram offered a sneak peek into her intense, high-intensity fitness training. She was seen sporting athleisure wear that included a pink sports bra and black tights. Let's take a closer look at each of her workouts. Kareena Kapoor gives fitness motivation with her intense, full-body workout routine.(PC: Instagram) The set of exercises Kareena did targeted the full body, from strength training that improved the core muscle group strength, like kettlebell raises, to functional conditioning exercises like kick-through. The workouts used fitness equipment like a kettlebell and a dumbell. Here's the breakdown of each of the exercises she did in the workout video: Dumbell shadow boxing: Holding dumbbells, she punched into the air while moving in a circle. This exercise engages the muscles around the shoulders and forearms while also challenging balance through continuous circular motion and shadow boxing. Kettlebell raise with lunge: For the next workout, Kareena used a kettlebell, raising it overhead while performing a smooth lunge. The movement also included a swing motion. This activates both the lower and upper body, working the core, shoulders, and legs. This exercise was done on both sides, targeting her obliques (side abdominal muscles.) Kick through: Kick through is a high-energy workout performed from a crawling position on the ground. It involves twisting the torso and kicking the legs out to either side. This exercise effectively targets the obliques, core (muscles near the central abdomen), shoulders, glutes (butt muscles), and hamstrings. How did the fans react? Fans were enamoured with her workout routine, as one Instagram user remarked, 'So inspiring to her workouts 🙌🙌.' Another reminisced about her journey, recalling her size zero era (during Tashan, Golmaal 3 eras) to embracing her natural curves and ageing. They said, 'I love that Kareena our OG queen, the one many girls like have grown up idolising gave permission for this video. Salman Khan once took a fun dig at Kareena Kapoor for giving hit films with Ajay Devgn: ‘Why did you give me 2 flops?'
Superstar Salman Khan is known for his fun and cheeky personality, especially when it comes to his close friends and co-stars. One such moment took place when he teased Kareena Kapoor Khan during an episode of his popular show ' Bigg Boss 4'. Kareena had appeared on the show with her 'Golmaal 3' co-stars to promote the film. While chatting with her on stage, Salman asked Kareena if she had worked with her 'Golmaal 3' co-star Ajay Devgn before. Kareena quickly named their films 'Golmaal Returns' and 'Omkara'. Salman noted that both these films were huge box office hits and also appreciated by critics. He then pulled her leg by saying, 'Waah 2 hit, toh mujhe 2 flop kyun diye aapne?' ('Wow 2 hits, then why did you give me 2 flops?') This funny moment left everyone on set laughing. Kapkapiii Box Office Day 1: Shreyas Talpade's Horror Comedy Off To A Slow Start

Kapkapiii, the Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor starrer horror-comedy, has made a lackluster debut at the box office. Released on limited screens, the film couldn't gather much audience despite giving special offers like Buy-One-Get-One for the opening weekend. According to the film minted a total of Rs 26 Lakh Nett India on Day 1. The major reason for the low numbers could be its stiff competition from big projects like Bhool Chuk Maaf, featuring RajKummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, as well as Kesari Veer: The Legends of the Somnath, starring Sooraj Pancholi. Some of the other holdover releases, including Ajay Devgn's Raid 2, Akshay Kumar's Kesari 2, Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible 8 and Final Destination: Bloodlines, are too big competitors for the horror-comedy due to their exceptional performance on the big screen. However, going by the positive word-of-mouth of the critics and viewers, Kapkapiii is expected to gain momentum in the coming days. Directed by Sangeeth Sivan, the film is an official Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Romancham and also features celebs like Siddhi Idani, Jay Thakkar, Sonia Rathee and Varun Pandey in significant roles. Kapkapiii marked Sivan's collaboration with Tusshar after a long gap of 19 years. They had previously worked together in Kya Kool Hain Hum, while the director joined hands with Shreyas Talpade in the 2006 comedy-drama Apna Sapna Money Money. The director lost his life during the making of Kapkapiii, while the film was in post-production. Recently, in a chat with Zoom, Tusshar mourned his demise and said, 'This is a sensitive topic for all of us. We are still in disbelief. The shock and emotional overwhelm are not intended to carry his legacy or memories forward. Unfortunately, he's not here to enjoy the film." The film follows a group of friends who, while experimenting with an Ouija board, unintentionally trigger paranormal activity in their shared home. This results in a series of spooky and hilarious events, blending horror with comedy. Tusshar and Shreyas have previously shared the screen space in Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3 and Golmaal Again. Raid 2 becomes Ajay Devgn's 8th biggest grosser, surpassing Golmaal 3 and Son of Sardaar
Ajay Devgn 's latest outing Raid 2 has proved its mettle at the box office, officially becoming the 8th highest-grossing film of the superstar's illustrious career. The film, which released amidst decent pre-release buzz, has collected a solid Rs 120.75 crore in just 11 days, surpassing the lifetime collections of Golmaal 3 (Rs 106.64 crore) and Son of Sardaar (Rs 105 crore). The film opened to Rs 19.25 crore on its first Thursday, followed by a dip on Friday, but gained momentum over the weekend with Rs 22 crore coming in on Sunday. It managed to close its opening week at a healthy Rs 95.75 crore. The second weekend witnessed a respectable hold, with collections of Rs 5 crore on Friday, Rs 8.25 crore on Saturday, and an estimated Rs 11.75 crore on Sunday, taking its overall tally to Rs 120.75 crore. With this, Raid 2 has entered the top 10 highest-grossing films of Ajay Devgn's career, displacing Golmaal 3 and Son of Sardaar from the coveted list.
