How to find the best crypto presales
The New York Post may receive revenue from affiliate/advertising partnerships for sharing this content and/or if you click or make a purchase. Crypto presales, often touted as golden investment opportunities, are emerging across a wide range of platforms. One of the most talked-about projects in its early phases is Best Wallet, which ties its value directly to a growing wallet ecosystem and aims to reward active users. Finding presales 'is not hard if you know where the chatter lives,' Sami Andreani, CFO of Oppizi, a New York-based startup offering data-driven offline marketing solutions, told The Post. Best Wallet ties its value directly to a growing wallet ecosystem and aims to reward active users. Best Wallet 'Launchpads such as Binance Launchpad and CoinList act like curated cinemas that screen projects before selling tickets.' Andrew Gosselin, a CPA and senior contributor at Save My Cent, a platform focused on saving money through coupons and shopping tools, agreed. 'The best places to spot a new presale are established launchpads such as Binance Launchpad or CoinList,' Gosselin told The Post. Sam Mudie, founder of Savea, a company behind the SAVW token that tracks the wine market, offered a sharper take, adding: 'Launchpads such as Binance Launchpad or CoinList, or aggregators like CoinSniper are where more credible projects can be found.' 'Discord and X are murky swamps filled with projects all claiming to be the next Ethereum,' Mudie said. When asked what crypto stands out right now, Mudie did not hesitate. 'Without doubt SAVW. It's the world's first ERC-20 token that tracks the performance of the wine market, is 100% backed by physical wines and as a financial vehicle is compliant in Jersey, the UK and EU,' he said. Andreani pointed to Solaxy, a Layer 2 project on Solana, telling The Post: 'It addresses congestion on the parent chain and offers lower fees without sacrificing speed, a combo that many developers crave.' Dat Ngo, a licensed CPA and senior contributor at Prop Firm App, a site dedicated to proprietary trading and investing strategies, took a more conservative view. MetaMask is a free cryptocurrency wallet and browser extension that allows users to store, manage, and interact with Ethereum-based assets and decentralized applications (dApps). SOPA Images/LightRocket via Getty Images 'There's no one best pick, but focusing on projects with real utility, a working product, and strong backing is more reliable than chasing trends,' Ngo said. The process typically begins with connecting your wallet and reading the whitepaper. 'You examine the whitepaper, verify the smart contract audit, and decide if the tokenomics make sense,' said Gosselin. 'You fill your wallet with the accepted currency, complete any know-your-customer requirements, and follow the project's guide step by step.' The value of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin have exploded in recent years. Parilov – Ashley Akin, a CPA and senior contributor at Gold IRA Companies, which helps seniors diversify retirement savings through precious metals and alternative investments, noted: 'You sign up on the project's presale site, send your crypto to the wallet they give you, then wait to receive the new tokens once the sale ends.' Ngo broke it down further, telling The Post: 'You connect a digital wallet like MetaMask to the presale platform, fund it with crypto like ETH or USDT, and follow the project's steps to complete the purchase.' Expert opinions diverge widely on this point. 'They can offer high upside if the project succeeds,' said Ngo, 'but the risk of loss is also much higher than with established cryptocurrencies.' Andreani likened it to a rollercoaster, saying: 'Early birds can see life-changing gains when a token lists at a higher price, yet many projects drop below the presale price once trading begins. Wise participants limit their stake to an amount they can afford to see locked or even lost.' A colorful promotional image for Snorter, a Solana-based meme crypto trading bot, which invites users to join the presale. SnorterToken Mudie offered a harsher assessment. 'Only if you treat them like scratch cards you buy from a petrol station: a tiny chance of a jackpot, a large chance your ticket ends up worthless,' he said. The inner mechanics of a crypto presale are fairly standardized. 'The project team offers tokens to early supporters to raise funds,' Akin said. 'Investors send established crypto like Ethereum, then get the new tokens later, often after the project launches.' Gosselin said that 'presales unfold in a set rhythm.' 'Developers release a whitepaper that covers every moving part, from utility to supply. They spend weeks or even months nurturing a community… When the sale starts, tokens move at a discount,' according to Gosselin. BTC Bull Token is a cryptocurrency designed to offer leveraged exposure to Bitcoin's price movements, aiming to amplify gains when Bitcoin rises. BTC Bull Token Andreani added a metaphorical twist, saying: 'Presales usually open with a whitepaper that lays out the ride in detail, from the engine under the hood to the route on the map. Curious buyers often sign up for a whitelist and complete basic identity checks.' Mudie was blunt. 'Speculators deposit accepted coins (e.g., USDC, ETH) into a smart contract with the promise that they'll get tokens at a discount when trading starts, hoping the price rockets,' he said. 'No shareholder contract, just faith.' Buying into a presale means doing due diligence and preparing technically. 'Buying into a presale starts with homework,' said Andreani. 'A cautious investor reads the whitepaper, checks the backgrounds of the founders, and verifies that the code has been audited.' ApeMax is a meme-inspired cryptocurrency that combines playful branding with a unique 'Boost-to-Earn' staking model. ApeMax Gosselin said, 'Participation is straightforward once the groundwork is done,' adding that when the sale window opens, 'you confirm the transfer and keep the transaction hash (a unique ID recorded on the blockchain) safe.' Akin underscored the simplicity of the process, saying: 'You send your crypto to the wallet they give you, then wait to receive the new tokens.' Presale durations can vary considerably. 'Most presales run from a few days to several weeks,' said Ngo, 'depending on how many funding rounds the project plans.' Andreani added that 'a presale can wrap up in three days or stretch into two months. Short windows usually show a confident team… longer windows indicate ambitious funding targets.' Mudie agreed, telling The Post: 'Most are several days to weeks, some stretch to months if the funding cap isn't met sooner.' In the simplest terms, 'a crypto presale is when a new cryptocurrency project sells its tokens to early investors before the public launch,' said Ngo. Akin added: 'It's basically a chance to buy a new project's tokens early, usually at a lower price than when they hit public markets.' Andreani vividly described a presale as something that 'feels a lot like the opening night of a small town fair… It gives the project seed money and gives those first ticket holders a chance to lock in a lower price.' Solaxy is the first Layer-2 scaling solution built specifically for the Solana blockchain. Solaxy Gosselin said that presales 'unfold in a set rhythm… the team funnels the raised capital into development, marketing, and exchange listings.' Mudie remained skeptical, telling The Post: 'Normally crowdfunding stunts that sell IOU-tokens pitched as ground-floor equity, even though they confer no legal ownership, real voting rights, or tangible value.' This is where the warnings grow loudest. 'Unfortunately, mostly yes,' said Mudie. 'Rug pulls, and fake teams are common. Demand audits, doxxed founders, and realistic promises.' Ngo concurred, telling The Post: 'Yes, many are unregulated and lack transparency, so it's important to do due diligence and not rely only on hype.' CoinList is a cryptocurrency platform that helps early-stage blockchain projects raise capital and launch tokens while providing investors with access to vetted token sales and trading services. NurPhoto via Getty Images Andreani flagged common danger signs, saying: 'Anonymous teams that refuse video calls, lofty promises of triple-digit returns… a missing smart contract audit or a roadmap that leaps from concept to global domination in a single quarter deserves extra suspicion.' Gosselin urged those interested to look for 'transparent teams that reveal their identities, sign contracts with reputable launchpads, and open their code to third-party audits send positive signals.' When asked for their top five, responses varied by outlook. Ngo favored proven contenders, citing 'projects like Ethereum, Solana, Chainlink, Avalanche, and Arbitrum continue to show strong development and user growth.' Gosselin leaned on themes rather than names, saying: 'I keep an eye on projects pushing AI, decentralized finance, NFTs with real utility, and infrastructure upgrades.' Andreani listed: Snorter Bot, BTC Bull Token, Best Wallet, ApeMax and Solaxy. 'Each of these still sits in an early phase, so the upside is matched by execution risk,' he said. Cryptocurrency presales are early investment rounds where tokens are sold to investors before a public launch, often at discounted prices. OksanaFedorchuk – Mudie ended on a cautious note, telling The Post: 'Bitcoin and Ethereum are the foundation. Anything else is a bet, not an investment thesis, but on my radar: Ethena, Hyperliquid and Fetch (ASA).' While the allure of presales lies in early access and discounted tokens, experts warned that flashy marketing and hyped communities should not replace careful research and common sense. Whether you're a believer, skeptic, or somewhere in between, one thing is certain: in crypto presales, due diligence isn't optional — it's survival. New York Post Approved 60+ Chains. Total Control. Crypto software company OneBalance raises $20 million from Cyber Fund and Blockchain Capital
OneBalance, a London-based crypto software company, has raised $20 million in a Series A led by venture capital firms Cyber Fund and Blockchain Capital, the company announced on Wednesday. The round included participation from Mirana Ventures and L2IV and brings the company's total funding to $25 million. OneBalance declined to disclose its valuation in this round. OneBalance, founded in 2024, aims to build software that will make it possible for non-crypto-native software engineers to build applications that use crypto, CEO Stephane Gosselin told Fortune. The company's main product, which launched on Wednesday, is a toolkit—a collection of software tools and libraries—that lets developers integrate into applications the ability to trade memecoins, swap tokens, and facilitate peer-to-peer payments, among other things. 'They [developers] can focus on their product and how to create the user experience, while having a reliable way to do transfers, swaps, and earning yield,' Gosselin said. With an increasing number of non-crypto companies—including Meta and Google—considering integrating stablecoins in some manner, Gosselin says software like his will make it easier for companies to add blockchain technology to their services. 'They don't necessarily know how to be able to execute reliability on-chain, and the last thing they want to do is start to expose a lot of that complexity to their users,' Gosselin said. The toolkit launched with support for Ethereum, Polygon, and other Ethereum Virtual Machine blockchains. OneBalance will introduce support for Solana at the end of this month, the company said. OneBalance will charge a fee for each transaction processed by a platform that integrates the toolkit, Gosselin said. 'We want to make money when our customers make money,' he added. 'If our customers decide to monetize and to do this with us, then we will keep a small fee on top of that.' OneBalance is among a number of crypto companies seeking to make application development simpler. Reown and Privy, for instance, both offer standard developer kits, or SDKs, that aim to make it easier for engineers to integrate crypto wallet functionality into their applications. Another example is Helius, a developer platform focused on eliminating complexities for application engineers trying to build on the Solana blockchain. Gosselin says his company will use the money raised in this round to expand the capabilities of its flagship product by integrating functionality for additional blockchains. Nexcel Announces 2025 Summer Work Program at Lac Ducharme REE Project
Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - June 9, 2025) - Nexcel Metals Corp. (CSE: NEXX) ("Nexcel" or the "Company") is pleased to announce its Summer 2025 exploration plan for the Lac Ducharme REE Project, located in Manicouagan, Quebec. A four-person field crew will conduct a detailed exploration campaign using man-portable Shaw backpack drills to investigate subcropping zones for the presence and extent of rare earth element (REE) mineralization. This program builds on promising results from previous work and targets zones identified through a combination of a 50.2-line-km ground magnetic survey, a 2022 radiometric survey, and prospecting in 2021 and 2024. Priority targets include the Lucia and 13-TC showings, as well as the recently defined EFU Showing. The program is scheduled to begin in July 2025. 2025 Program Goals Key objectives of the Summer 2025 program include: Drill-testing Priority Showings: Focused backpack drilling at the Lucia, 13-TC, and EFU showings to delineate REE-bearing pegmatite zones and test lateral and vertical continuity of mineralization. Expanding Mineralized Footprint: Step-out drilling from 2024 discoveries around holes 23 and 24 to assess the scale of the newly identified mineralized pegmatite. Geological Mapping & Sampling: Refined geological mapping and channel sampling to improve the understanding of structural controls, mineralogy, and alteration patterns associated with REE enrichment. Scintillometer Grid Expansion: Additional scintillometer readings around anomalous zones to define new targets for future drill testing. Improving Target Definition: Integrating all collected geophysical, geochemical, and structural data to develop a 3D model of mineralized zones. The Company aims to generate sufficient geological and assay data to define drill-ready targets for a more advanced program in 2026. Project Background Nexcel completed a successful backpack drilling campaign in August 2024. Notably, thorium values ranged from 2.01 to 277 ppm, with one standout value of 793 ppm Th (hole 25). Elevated REE values were also identified in holes 23 and 24, drilled near a pegmatite west of 13-TC-5072B-constituting a new discovery. Scintillometer data were collected across 1,522 stations using a RS-120 handheld device, focusing on key showings and the 2024 discovery area, with readings taken every 10-15 metres. Samples were sent to ALS Laboratories (Montreal) and analyzed using the "ME-MS71L" Super-Trace method for REEs and refractory minerals. While no field-level QAQC was undertaken, results provide a compelling basis for continued exploration. The Lac Ducharme Property lies in the Allochthonous Belt of the Grenville Province and is underlain by Castoreum and Bardoux granites, separated by a regional-scale fault. Pegmatites enriched in light REEs were initially identified in 2013, including a grab sample returning 6.04% LREE (Gosselin et al., 2013). Follow-up work in 2015 confirmed and extended these showings. The property remains underexplored and presents significant upside potential. Hugh Rogers, CEO of Nexcel Metals, commented: "We are excited to launch our 2025 program at Lac Ducharme as we follow up on encouraging signs of REE mineralization. Our goal is to refine our understanding of the geology and advance the project toward a maiden drill program. The global demand for rare earth elements, driven by the green energy transition and electric vehicle revolution, makes this a timely and high-potential exploration effort." Lac Ducharme REE Project Payment Pursuant to the Lac Ducharme option agreement, Nexcel may acquire a 100% interest in the Lac Ducharme REE Project through cash payments, share payments, and work expenditures as set out in the Company's prospectus. Nexcel confirms that the post-listing payment of $20,000 cash and 50,000 common shares is complete. 9 Travel Items Retirees Should Always Pack on Vacation To Save Money
When it comes to travel, retirees have a major advantage: Time. But even with flexible schedules and senior discounts, vacation costs can still add up fast. Business Insider is reporting that travel is mainly for the rich now, but the good news? A little smart packing can go a long way in keeping more money in your pocket. Explore More: For You: 'Travel costs often creep up in small, predictable places,' said Andrew Gosselin, certified public accountant (CPA), personal finance expert and senior contributor at Save My Cent. 'Packing a few money-saving essentials keeps those costs under control and lets retirees focus on the experience rather than the bill.' Whether you're jetting off to Europe or road-tripping through the U.S., these must-pack items can help you save on everything from snacks to ATM fees — without sacrificing any fun. According to Gosselin, a printed copy of a photo ID or a Medicare card turns into lower fares at ticket counters, smaller hotel bills at check-in and reduced entry fees at museums. You can slip the copy inside your passport cover so it is ready every time a clerk asks for verification. Trending Now: Chris Heerlein, CEO of REAP Financial, noted that one important item retirees should bring when traveling is a high-quality, reusable water bottle. Bottled water in tourist spots, airports or hotels is often overpriced, and staying hydrated while avoiding these additional costs can make a significant difference over time. This is especially vital for retirees who may need to stay on top of medications. Gosselin agreed that airport kiosks sell water at several times the supermarket price. Filling a fold-flat bottle after security and topping it up at cafés or public fountains during the day can keep your budget intact. Nuts, granola bars and a sleeve of instant oatmeal weigh almost nothing yet replace overpriced pastries and minibar treats that are often unhealthy choices for retirees. Gosselin recommended a handful of resealable bags can handle leftovers from restaurant meals and turn them into tomorrow's lunch. 'Prescription refills abroad can be difficult and expensive,' said Gosselin. For this reason, you should pack the full course plus a small kit that includes pain relievers, antacids and allergy tablets. As a retiree, it's likely you'll have scheduled medications, so keep in mind that a familiar remedy on hand prevents a costly hunt for a tourist pharmacy. Older hotels often provide a single outlet, said Gosselin. An adapter matched with a short power bar can charge your phone, camera and e-reader at the same time. It's especially helpful for retirees who may travel with medical devices, hearing aid chargers or other essentials that need daily power. Buying the same gear in a tourist district can cost three or four times more than packing it from home. Gosselin observed that a printed policy summary can sit in a slim folder alongside photocopies of credit cards and emergency contact numbers, while digital versions live in an encrypted app. Quick access to both formats saves time and money if a flight cancels or a wallet goes missing. Having physical copies offers retirees peace of mind in case of tech issues or limited phone access while traveling. This is a big one, according to Gosselin. Downloading maps and a currency converter before departure removes the need for expensive data roaming. A banking app lets you watch balances in real time and spot any unexpected charges. For retirees on a fixed income, these tools help avoid surprise fees and make it easier to stick to a travel budget. This is a vital pack for retirees looking to travel. Gosselin explained that standard cards often add a fee of 2 or 3% to every international purchase. A fee-free card eliminates that extra cost. For this reason, carry a spare debit card for ATM withdrawals from reputable banks and skip the poor rates at airport exchange booths. These small savings can add up over the course of a trip, helping retirees stretch a fixed retirement budget further. Weather can change quickly, so a breathable rain jacket, a light sweater and trousers that convert to shorts adapt to most climates and reduce the chance of buying expensive emergency clothing. 'A travel-size packet of laundry soap allows quick sink washes and lowers hotel laundry bills,' said Gosselin. Packing smart and light means less strain on the body for retirees and fewer unexpected expenses during long trips. A suitcase that includes these nine items does more than protect a travel budget; it adds a sense of readiness that lets each day unfold with fewer surprises. Small preparations create room in the itinerary and the wallet for unplanned highlights, which Gosselin said is ultimately the reason to travel in the first place. For retirees, that peace of mind makes it easier to focus on enjoying the journey–not troubleshooting it. 3 Ways To Make Money If You Are Unable To Work
Life can throw curveballs — injuries, illnesses, caregiving responsibilities or just burnout that hits harder than expected. If you're unable to work right now, that doesn't mean your income has to come to a full stop. Read Next: Learn More: Whether you're looking for a way to bring in a little extra cash from your couch or need ideas that don't require a 9-to-5 hustle, here are some ways to make money when traditional work just isn't an option. One of the first things Andrew Gosselin, CPA, personal finance expert and senior contributor at SaveMyCent, usually suggests is freelance writing or editing. 'The good thing here is you set the pace,' he said. You can take on one small assignment at a time, build up your confidence and see what works. There's no commute and no team meetings — just your words and your time. Gosselin said you can make anywhere from $50 to $500 per article depending on experience, and it really just depends on the topic and the client. The work is out there if you know where to look. Gosselin noted that sites like Upwork and Fiverr are a start, but even pitching blogs or websites directly can open doors. Check Out: It takes a little upfront effort, but Gosselin said once you've made something like a planner, a set of printables or worksheets, they can keep making money without you doing much else. 'People sell these things on Etsy and Gumroad all the time, and you don't need to be a professional designer,' he said. Forbes recommended creating anything from e-books and mini courses to social media template collections. Tools like Canva make it easy, and even using artificial intelligence tools can help shape your ideas if you're not sure where to begin. If you've ever created something useful for yourself, chances are someone else could use it too. According to Kevin Huffman, owner of Kriminil Trading, you can try renting out idle assets, like a parking space, which can generate $50 to $300 per month, or storage space for $100 to $500 per month, on sites like Neighbor. Huffman suggested even renting out high-end clothes. You can also make a couple hundred dollars a month simply by renting out your spare bedroom as a makeshift office.
