Senco Gold share price hits 5% upper circuit after Q1FY26 update

Senco Gold share price hit 5 per cent upper circuit to ₹ 367. 35 in Monday's trading session after the company reported its first quarter business update for financial year 2026. The jewellery stock opened at ₹ 361.10 apiece on Monday, July 7, as compared to previous close of ₹ 349.90 apiece. Senco Gold share price has gained over 79 per cent since its listing in July 2023. In its Q1 business update, the company announced a 24 per cent year-on-year rise in retail revenue, with overall revenue climbing 28 per cent YoY. The growth was mainly fueled by strong consumer demand during regional festivals and the company's ongoing focus on expanding its retail presence. As part of its robust growth plan, Senco Gold opened nine new showrooms in Q1FY26, bringing its total number of jewellery outlets to 179. During the quarter, domestic gold prices saw a notable surge, averaging between ₹ 86,900 and ₹ 1,01,000 per 10 grams. This represents a 32% year-on-year increase and a 5% rise from the previous quarter. The sharp increase in gold prices was driven by global economic uncertainties, substantial central bank purchases, and various international market dynamics. Looking forward, Senco Gold is on track to achieve its goal of opening 20 new showrooms by the end of FY26. To further boost the expansion of its lifestyle and fashion jewellery brands — Sennes, Gossip, and Everlite — the company is considering the franchise model. This move aims to widen Senco's market presence and attract a broader customer base across both urban and semi-urban areas. ' We continued our showroom expansion and launched 9 new showrooms (4 COCO and 5 FOFO/FOCO), and taking the jewellery store portfolio to 179. (on exclusion of 4 Sennes Showrooms). We also launched 1 Sennes showroom taking the Sennes portfolio to 7 (3 in Wholly Owned subsidiary and 4 in SGL),' the company said in an exchange filing dated July 4. The jewellery company further said, ' Having already launched 9 showrooms, we are on course to achieve annual target of 20 showroom. We are having a good pipeline of franchisee stores under FOFO as well as FOCO model. In addition, we are also looking at Franchisee route for expansion of Sennes, Gossip and Everlite brands. Sennes being a new and modern brand will also continue its growth journey.' The company added that Q2 usually has no festivals or wedding demand and is driven by Monsoon led demand and usually lower than Q1. With an early onset of monsoon (1st time in last 16 years) and above average rainfall prediction of 106% and stable macroeconomic environment, we are now preparing for Q2 with focus on inventory optimisation, festive collections, and accelerating diamond and lightweight jewellery lines. ' Price volatility in gold and upcoming festivals like Raksha Bandhan and Onam will shape consumer demand in Q2. We see growing consumer demand for 14K and 18K jewellery, while the industry is working towards 9K jewellery,' it said. Disclaimer: This story is for educational purposes only. Kylie Jenner takes her relationship with boyfriend Timothee Chalamet to the next level with shock move

Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet 's relationship has gone from strength to strength. And Kylie, 27, took the next step in their relationship - choosing to follow her boyfriend of two years on Instagram. Kylie follows 119 people on the social media app as of Tuesday, July 1 - including Timothee - and has 393 million followers. Timothee, 29, however did not follow Kylie back - but he does not follow anyone. The lovebirds were most recently seen publicly during the NBA playoff games, with the duo sharing kisses courtside as they cheered on the New York Knicks. Kylie and Timothee are said to have sparked up a romance after they both attended the Jean-Paul Gaultier fashion show on January 25, 2023. The couple had been quietly dating since early April 2023, which was first revealed by celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi. A tipster had revealed that they were dating: ''Anon pls!! Multiple sources have told me Timmy C has a new girl... Kylie Jenner.' In mid-April 2023, after news broke of their coupling, Kylie's Range Rover was seen in Timothee's driveway of his Beverly Hills home. Her SUV drove straight up the Wonka star's driveway, according to TMZ. One day later, Timothee jumped into Kylie's SUV after he attended an art show in Santa Monica, with her security guard jumping into his car and driving it, per TMZ. They arrived at Tito's Tacos in LA and her security team went and picked up food for them and brought it to the car. That same month, People's source reported that the stars were 'hanging out and getting to know each other with another insider revealing that they 'hang out every week' but it's 'not serious.' 'She is getting to know him. Kylie is having fun. After years of back and forth with Travis [Scott], she just wants to date without any pressure,' their source said. They were never seen together publicly until the Beyonce concert. A false rumor circulated in early August 2023 that the actor had 'dumped' her; TMZ confirmed they were still together and that the rumor was not true. Their first public sighting came on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Beyonce's last LA concert - which took place at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. The couple made their public debut in the VIP section of the concert - with the stars kissing and cuddling, making it no secret of their red-hot romance. One week later, she packed on the PDA with boyfriend Timothee at the US Open. Their relationship of two years has gone from strength to strength, with the couple enjoying a PDA filled date night to the Golden Globes on January 5. BBC fans surprised by 'outrageous moment' during JADE's Glastonbury set

While performing her song Gossip, featuring Confidence Man, JADE said the swear word **** - and some people were shocked that it aired on BBC in the middle of the afternoon BBC viewers have reacted to an outrageous moment during JADE's Glastonbury set in which she used a swear word on live TV. The singer, 32, made her debut at the music festival today and during her performance she paid tribute to her Little Mix bandmates, saying being part of the girl group changed her life. But JADE also admitted she is happy to be working on her own music now. ‌ During her set on the Woodsies stage, she performed songs from her upcoming album That's Showbiz Baby! as well as iconic Little Mix songs including Shout Out to my Ex, Woman Like Me and Touch. But at one point, she used the word "c--t" while performing her song Gossip, featuring Australian electro pop band Confidence Man. ‌ Fans were left surprised that the word wasn't beeped out from the BBC streaming of the festival in the afternoon, and many took to social media to share their thoughts. One tweeted: "Jade dropping the word **** at 15:52 on a sunny summer afternoon at Glasto? Like I said, ICON!!" Another said: "Jade said **** live on the BBC and it's not even 4pm. Icons only." One more wrote: "This year's #Glastonbury catchphrase is definitely 'Tina thinks you're a ****.'" Someone else expressed: "Jade dropping the word **** was not on bingo card." On BBC iPlayer, the livestream comes with a disclaimer: "Contains very strong language and flashing images." JADE became emotional as fans sang along with her and at one point she paid tribute to her Little Mix co-stars Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards. Jesy Nelson was also part of the group originally, before her departure in 2020. While performing at the music festival, the singer said: "Firstly, shout out to Little Mix. I can't begin to explain how grateful I am to those girls for literally changing my life and who would have thought then that we would have a Little Mix girlie up here on the Glastonbury stage. But I can't lie, it feels good doing my own songs that I've written from my heart." ‌ She continued: "That was the old me, now it's time for something new." She then told the crowd she would bring out some special guests, as she welcomed Confidence Man to the stage. JADE also used her performance to boldly express her disdain for Reform UK while delivering a rousing rendition of her hit FUFN. The track, an acronym for 'F*** you for now', features a segment where JADE reels off a list of things she'd like to give the middle finger to. During her set, she chanted: "Reform! Transphobia! Selling arms! Genocide!", with the crowd echoing back a resounding "F*** you." Earlier this week, Jade promised fans her performance would be "a big a-- SHOW" and on Saturday morning she posted, "It's a big one @glastonbury. See you on the Woodsies stage at 3.15pm. Make sure you get down early!! f you're not at the festival, you can watch my set live on @BBCiPlayer." Her performance received a lot of praise as festival-goers cheered her own throughout her set - and those who couldn't attend the festival shared their thoughts on social media. "Jade getting emotional at the Glastonbury crowd singing along with her is making me cry, so proud of her," a fan tweeted. Another said: "This little mix medley Jade is doing at Glastonbury is making me emotional." Another said: "It's criminal that Little Mix never performed at Glastonbury but having Jade perform a Little Mix medley is the next best thing." One more said: "JADE IS KILLING THIS." Someone else said: "JADE really is the whole package isn't she. Absolute superstar."

Socio's team opens cocktail bar and nightclub hybrid, Gossip in Central

We've all seen Socio and its queues outside that trails out along Staunton Street. If you enjoy their sustainability-forward Asian-inflected cocktails, then you'll be glad to know that the people behind Socio have a brand-new concept in their latest nightlife destination named Gossip. Knowing that cocktail bars don't usually have good music to vibe to, and that nightclubs usually only serve overpriced but uninspired drinks and pricey bottles with sparklers, Amir Javaid and Max Bajracharya have decided to give Hong Kong's night owls the best of both worlds by combining these concepts into a premium cocktail club. Their drinks menu is inspired by the many traditional masks of Asia, each with its own personality and story, and giving rise to its accompanying cocktail made with distinctly Asian ingredients such as mango sticky rice, Korean gochujang, and Sichuan pepper. Thotsokan, a lemongrass and coconut-washed Tanqueray gin-based cocktail, contains Thai flavour profiles with kaffir lime distillate, mango sticky rice, sparkling wine, and a piece of dehydrated fruit – it's light, refreshing, and the perfect first drink to start with. Some of our other favourites include the creamy, Japanese-inspired Hannya, made with yuzu koshō and kombu-infused Bacardi, lichiko, dry sherry, clarified pear, white chocolate, and topped with a foamy puff of matcha air. One of Gossip's best on the menu is the Nuoxi, which is a delicately savoury mix of Sichuan pepper-infused Ketel One, elderflower, fermented tofu, sesame oil, lemon, and pickled cucumber. Its tasting notes read somewhat like a grocery list, but the Chinese-inspired blend of florals, fermented fruit, and umami notes just work. The cocktail lounge hosts live music performances on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and when the clock hits midnight from Thursday through the weekend, Gossip transforms into a clubby atmosphere with the tables and chairs moved aside for a dancefloor and multicoloured light strips pulsing overhead. If you're bored of the thumping, techno-heavy beats that are spinning in most clubs, then you'll appreciate that Gossip focuses on playing R&B and hip-hop – a win in our books! Gossip is now in its soft-launch period and will officially open to the public in mid-July.
