Form analyst Shayne O'Cass provides his best bets and race-by-race analysis for Goulburn and Muswellbrook on Tuesday. â– â– â– â– â– GOULBURN TIPS BEST BET Race 5 No.3 WEXFORD MISS: Races well at home, excels at the trip and handles it wet. NEXT BEST Race 7 No.6 GREYGENTA: Lightly-raced filly who possesses a big finish. Go well. VALUE Race 6 No.11 NAMBI GHIMA: Best runs so far have been on Heavy tracks. Good longshot. QUADDIE Race 4: 2,6,9,10 Race 5: 3 Race 6: 3,6,8,11 Race 7: 4,6 JOCKEY TO FOLLOW Keagan Latham is less than a month away from winning another Provincial title. GOULBURN INSIDE MAIL SHADY ROAD (10) has also accepted for Muswellbrook today. Long story short; he was a $650,000 Easter Yearling purchase who has trialled really well without having been shown up or shown off. CRIMSON WINGS (9) is ready to go to the races after two trials, one good, the other one – very good. Hails forms a great NZ family. SHREDDED (6) was well-backed on debut at Kembla. Beaten but could be a big improver. BET: SHADY ROAD (10) each-way or if scratched CRIMSON WINGS (9) to win. WEXFORD MISS (3) is a Kembla winner for the O'Shea/Charlton. Still with Champion Thoroughbreds, she has twice finished runner-up inside her five runs for Danielle Seib who has found the perfect fit for the mare today. CRAZY ATOM (4) will very much appreciate the 1400m second-up, off his 1200m return last month. Has sound numbers on Heavy tracks. Forbes resident EAST HARLEM (7) is crying out for 1400m now. BET: WEXFORD MISS (3) (best bet), Daily Double 1st Leg 3, 2nd Leg 6. NAMBI GHIMA (11) is unplaced in six starts but her best run so far was on a Heavy track at Nowra. The Jason Coyle bred, owned and trained filly also trialled rather well on occasions on Heavy tracks at Warwick Farm. THE BIG BLUE (6) was warming to the task big time when third at Wyong first-up. This big track will suit him better, so will the mile. Ditto that for OMAHA SAND (3) who has miler written all over him. GREYGENTA (6) is a ghostly grey like her sire, D'Argento, the Rosehill Guineas winner. This Gary Portelli trained $35,000 weanling purchase has done some good things in her five starts so far. Her win at Queanbeyan was bordering on the unbelievable; they don't often win from last of 10 like she did that day. Market watch advised. Her biggest danger – and obstacle – is the stablemate SCULPTOR (4) whose lone win was on a heavy 8 at Goulburn. Drawn wide but not a terribly big field. BET: GREYGENTA (6) to win or if scratched SCULPTOR (4) to win. â– â– â– â– â– MUSWELLBROOK TIPS NEXT BEST Race 1 No.3 HE'STHECHIEF: Local who has his foot firmly on the till. VALUE Race 3 No.7 BELLERATA: First starter from a good barn who has trialled well. SWEXAN (5) is a son of Sweynesse out of a mare by Melbourne Cup placegetter Jakallberry. There is no doubt with that sort of pedigree that Swexan will run at very least a mile and probably more. If that is true, then he has to be marked 'up' on that distant third on debut at Wyong over 1100m. REBEL RHAPSODY (1) has placed at three of his six starts, all at the provincials, one by a nose at Kembla. Has trialled well. EMPRESS TSARINA (4) demands respect. BET: SWEXAN (5) to win. TANGLEWOOD JIMMY (7) is a handy horse who has finished 'out of the frame' once in 10 starts and that was on a Heavy 10 at Rosehill at the end of a pretty long and successful campaign. He was very hard to miss late in the race first-up here. Progressive type. GALANO (1) has 65kg which doesn't automatically rule him out but is he a 10kg better horse than 'Jimmy'? Doubt it but we'll see. LUSKAIRE (3) and POCKET EIGHTS (4) have claims. BET: TANGLEWOOD JIMMY (7) to win (best bet), Daily Double 1st Leg 7, 2nd Leg 5. SUPERHERO (1) has accepted for two races at Canterbury on Wednesday. Should he be absent today, it could open the door for the 2022 Rockhampton Capricornia Yearling Sale Classic 2YO Plate winner, Sammiballerina to waltz back into the winner's stall. Sure, she doesn't win often but her other victory was here at home over this same trip. EIGHTY EIGHT STARS (5) is a track/distance winner. GOLDEN HONOUR (6) has won three times on Heavy. PRINCESS MARY (5) has two wins and three seconds from 15 starts. More impressive however are her first-up stats if one win and two seconds from five fresh runs. She handles Good to Heavy. On face value, the 1000m is short of her best but her best is good enough to win this and she is first-up remember off a smashing trial win. TOOMUCHINFORMATION (3) and WITHSTAND (4) are likewise first-up. As for Bullock's mount, Toomuchinformation, he trialled well in the Princess Mary heat.

Goulburn preview: Local trainer Danielle Seib is ready to unveil a promising filly Sweet About Me on home turf
Ten-time Highway winning trainer Danielle Seib will use her home town meeting at Goulburn to take the wrapping off another Charles Cropper-bred galloper blessed with a bright future Named Sweet About Me, the daughter of Golden Rose and Randwick Guineas winner Hallowed Crown makes her debut in the Happy Retirement John Cramp Maiden Plate over 1100m. 'Her trial was ten months ago now but she did everything right in it,' Seib said. 'She's had three jumpouts at home in the lead-up to her debut. She is a filly with a little bit of gate speed but she is quite tractable so hopefully from that draw, she gets a nice run some in the first four and can find the line really well. 'She seems to have share of ability. She has taken a little while to mature but it seems to be all falling into place now. Oh yeah! 'He just didn't handle the Heavy surface last start, he just never travelled from the outset,' Seib said. The son of Rubick finished runner-up on debut at this same venue before an excusable fifth of 10 runners as recently as eight days ago. 'He sort of loomed up in the straight but the extra work he had to do took its toll. 'He will take good improvement out of that run and back to Muswellbrook and with a better draw, I would say he has got to be an each-way chance for sure.' Rolls and Minervini's second chance at a winner is the Victorian-bred Cool Space who tackles the eminently winnable Bengalla Cup Sun 27 July Benchmark 58 Handicap (1450m). 'Luke rode him at Gunnedah last start and he was very happy with him,' Minervini said. 'He said to stick to the 1400m and he was keen to ride him again. 'So from barrier one, I think he should get a nice run and I am hoping he can figure in the finish.' Cool Space is an especially well-bred galloper. His dam won the Bendigo Guineas while his grandam won a Group 3 in New Zealand. This is also the family that delivered Prince Salieri who won the J J Atkins in 1989 when it was known as the Castlemaine Stakes. Minervini, meanwhile, is five wins short of his 500th as a trainer. If the Rolls' ridden pair don't edge him closer, perhaps it will be Tickle Me Pink and Anna Roper who do. The daughter of Vancouver is sure to have her admirers in the Two Rivers Wine Maiden Plate (1280m) after a close and closing second first-up at Gosford. 'We used that 1000m as a second barrier trial and I was thrilled with the way she finished off. Probably another 50 metres or 100 metres, she wins,' Minervini said.

TOKYO QUEEN (3) was held up for clear running early in the straight when sixth to Dance Dance Dance on debut at Newcastle on Feb 18. Returned 17 days later where she sat outside the leader and fought hard to hold out Literature Tycoon. ANNOINT (5) battled away for second to Cosmeena here last start. BET: TACT to win. SIGNOR TORTONI (3) is from a stakes-producing half-sister to the champion Tie The Knot. Raced well in his first campaign with a close fourth to Crepe Myrtle on debut at Randwick before second placings to Gatekeeper and The Enchanter both at Canterbury. Resumes here off a smart Randwick trial win. LONDON BOY (1) debuted with a third to Honey Perfume after racing three-wide. Raced four-wide when runner-up to Let's Go Brandon here last start. Should get a better run from a good draw. OCTA DE LAGO (2) has trialled well ahead of his debut. BET: SIGNOR TORTONI to win. READY TO ROCKET (4) made a winning start to his career when he powered home from well back on the corner to beat Veravino over 1100m at Hawkesbury last November. Battled away when third to Moonlight Gambler at Kembla first-up. Inconvenienced late when third to Let's Go Again there last start. SHOUTABOUTIT (6) ran well first-up at Port Macquarie after just one trial. Handy effort when second to Formal at Wyong last start. YES SIREE (1) defied a big betting drift from $1.80 to $3.10 to beat Step Quick on a Heavy 10. BET: READY TO ROCKET to win. SHANGRI LA IMPACT (5) was beaten a nose by Tact over 1400m on debut at Kembla before a neck second to Dark Arts in a 1550m Canterbury Super Maiden. Stepped up to 2000m and broke his maiden in beating Tommy Thug in a Class 1 at Hawkesbury. Hard to beat again. TAJWAAL (1) scored a big win at Taree before placings at his three runs since. Will be prominent again. WHISKER TO WHISKER (6) was a handy third to Existential Bob at Wyong last start. BET: SHANGRI LA IMPACT to win. THE BEAST (3) ended last campaign with a second at Hawkesbury and a length third to Sounds Unusual over 1900m at Canterbury. Resumed with a third to Mille De Lune at Newcastle after racing wide for the first 600m. BARBRAY (1) was a handy third to Full Hao at Hawkesbury second-up. Was fractious in the gates and was a little slow away when fourth to Dark Arts at Canterbury. Barrier blanket goes on. DWAYNE (2) has placed three from four at the provincials and was a two length fifth at Warwick Farm. BET: THE BEAST each-way. CATHEDRAL COVE (10) is knocking on the door after placings in each of his four runs this preparation. Was beaten a nose as a $1.70 fab by Egyptian's Reward over this rip at Kembla last start. PURPLE HAZE (2) will take improvement from his debut experience when third behind Yes Sireee on a Heavy 10 over 1000m at Wyong. He was chasing a fair way out and looks suited stepping up to 1300m. JARED (5) resumes here. Has placed runner-up twice first-up and won't be far away. SUPERHERO (1) raced fourth without cover and made up ground to finish a length behind Let's Go Again who led all the way when resuming at Kembla on May 6. It was a heavy track and he carried 60kg. Same weight here but will be fitter. GORBACHEV (3) scored a narrow win from Alpine Ski in a Gosford Super Maiden first-up before a length sixth to Puerto Banus in a BM64 at Wyong. Back to a Class 1 here. TRUE AMOR (6) will take improvement from his first-up fourth behind Secure at Warwick Farm on May 7.
