Swift action and open dialogue
The Southern Governorate is committed to strengthening communication, prompt responsiveness, and community partnership, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
This was emphasised by His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate, who noted that as part of its digital transformation efforts, the Governorate issued a mid-year report indicating it received approximately 1,209 inquiries and requests by the end of June 2025 across security, service, and social sectors.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali said that these were submitted through various channels, including phone calls, the Southern Governorate app, email, the national 'Tawasul' platform, and the Governorate Council.
The requests were categorised as 42% service-related, 37% social, and 21% security.
