UK schedule in full swing A source close to IANS said: "Aftab Shivdasani, Ritesh Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi shooting for a song Masti 4 in Birmingham." The source added that the actors started shooting on July 1. "There are shooting till around mid-August in 2-3 locations in England," the source added. It was on July 1, director Milap Zaveri announced the UK schedule for "Masti 4" with a social media post. He took to his Instagram handle and dropped a throwback image from a story sitting for "Masti" in 2003. "This pic was clicked 22 years ago in 2003 in Lonavala at the story sitting/Script session of #Masti when i was the writer of the film Now 21 years later I start the shoot of the UK schedule of #Mastiii4 as the director. Grateful for this opportunity and the journey till here." "Huge responsibility on my shoulders to take this super successful and loved franchise ahead. Will do my best," he captioned the post. New faces join the franchise "Masti 4", the film also stars Elnaaz Norouzi, and Ruhii Singh in significant roles, along with others. The first installment of 'Masti" released in 2004. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Lara Dutta, Amrita Rao, Tara Sharma, and Genelia Deshmukh. The film spawned two sequels, Grand Masti in 2013 and Great Grand Masti in 2016. The second installment does not continue from the earlier installment. The film also stars Bruna Abdullah, Karishma Tanna, Sonalee Kulkarni, Kainaat Arora, Maryam Zakaria and Manjari Fadnis. Meanwhile, the third installment had Shreyas Talpade, Urvashi Rautela, Shraddha Das, Mishti Chakraborty, Pooja Bose and Sanjay Mishra.

The makers of the Masti franchise are bringing Masti 4. The upcoming film marks the return of OG star cast Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi as the main leads. The shoot of the fourth installment of the Masti series is going on in full swing in the United Kingdom. Now, Genelia Deshmukh is likely to have a cameo in Masti 4. Genelia Deshmukh to play a cameo in Masti 4? The Masti 4 team was shooting at Victoria Square, Birmingham in the UK earlier today. Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani were reportedly filming for a song at the location. Some behind the scenes visuals from the sets have surfaced on social media which also features actress Genelia Deshmukh. Genelia was spotted rehearsing and shooting for the track as the camera followed her. The Sitaare Zameen Par actress sported a white and olive green outfit and carried a yellow jacket on top. She had soft curls look for the shoot. Riteish and Genelia's kids, Riaan and Rahyl were also present on the sets. While the makers are yet to announce Genelia's association with the project, she will reportedly have a cameo appearance in it. Genelia was also a part of Masti 4 actress Elnaaz Norouzi 's birthday celebration on the sets. A glimpse from the celebration was posted by director Milap Milan Zaveri on Instagram. In 2004, Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani came together for the first time on the Indra Kumar directed Masti. The film also features Ajay Devgn in a key role, and turned out to be a sleeper hit at the box office in India, and opened the doors for 'Adults Only' comedy. The film turned into a franchise with Grand Masti and Great Grand Masti, and come 2026, the makers are all set to arrive with Masti 4, this time with Milap Milan Zaveri as the director. And now, Pinkvilla has exclusively learnt that the fourth instalment of Masti franchise will take a different route from the last 3 films. A source shares, 'Masti 4 is more of a 'Reverse Masti', as the female protagonists will also be indulging in an extra-marital affair. While the first 3 parts revolved around a comedy taking place due to extra-marital affairs of the 3 male protagonists, the fourth one has an exciting arc of a double play between husbands and their wives leads. All the characters indulge in a comic battle for one upmanship.' The source further informs that the shoot is going on in full swing, and the makers are looking to release it in Summer 2026.
