Lucid Air Just Got Better For 2026 With More Range And Tesla Supercharger Access

The Lucid Air has a quite compelling argument for being the best electric vehicle you can buy, and it's set to get even better for 2026. Lucid says its flagship sedan will gain access to Tesla's Supercharger network starting later this month. On top of that, some models are getting even more range, there's a new AC compressor "under the hood" meant to improve cooling and make everything a bit quieter, and there are some new wheel and seating options all meant to make your Air even lovelier. For most customers the big news here is that all Airs will be able to fill up on electrons at Tesla Superchargers starting on July 31. Of course, owners are going to have to use a $220 Lucid-approved NACS adapter, but that's still a big improvement and gives drivers access to over 17,000 new chargers. (Lucid's Gravity SUV has a NACS port as standard, but there's no word on when the Air might make that switchover.) With the adapter, owners will be able to start charging at V3 and above Superchargers via the Lucid App. There is one caveat to all of this: rather slow charging speeds, at least by Lucid's standards. The Newark, California-based company says Airs will be able to charge up at 50 kW and gain up to 200 miles of range per hour. That's good in a pinch, but it's rather crappy when you consider the fact that an Air Grand Touring can DC fast-charge at 350 kW and add that same 200 miles of range in just 12 minutes under ideal conditions. Currently, the highest-power Tesla Superchargers can deliver 250 kW, with plans for 350-kW stations. Read more: These Cars Are Police Magnets Changing Lucids For A Changing World The addition of Supercharging isn't the only news coming from Lucid land, either. Range is also up on the Air Touring to an estimated 431 miles, a 6% improvement thanks to higher density battery cells. On the top end, the Grand Touring retains its EPA-leading 512 miles of range. There's also plenty of new standard and optional equipment for 2026, like a new mobile changing cable kit that'll let you add up to 40 miles of range per hour, a new AC compressor courtesy of the Gravity, and new 19-inch wheels available on the Pure, Touring and Grand Touring that look way better than the old aero disc style. The Grand Touring gets 20-way adjustable seats with massage as standard, too. Lucid also says owners will get a major update to its DreamDrive Pro driver assistance suite, something we talked about last week. Drivers will now get Level 2 hands-free highway driving and hands-free lane changing that is meant to bring its system more in line with what you get from companies like General Motors, Ford and Rivian. Pricing for the Air lineup looks to be up about $1,000 across the board. The rear-wheel-drive Pure is slated to start $70,990 before destination — that charge is currently $1,500, but Lucid hasn't said if that's changing for 2026. The all-wheel-drive Air Touring comes in at $79,900, and above that, you've got the Grand Touring with a $114,900 pricetag. With price jumps happening seemingly every day, it's nice to get a small break. I should note that Lucid doesn't make any mention of the ultra-high-performance Sapphire in its release, but I'm going to assume not much is changing for that tri-motor monster with its 1,234 horsepower and 1.89-second 0-to-60-mph time. The world is better for it, too. Want more like this? Join the Jalopnik newsletter to get the latest auto news sent straight to your inbox... Read the original article on Jalopnik.

The Mazda MX-5 Miata is an affordable roadster If you're in the market for a sports car under $35,000, your options are limited to around three models. Of those, the Mazda MX-5 Miata is one of the longest living nameplates still on the road. The Japanese automaker has put more than 30 years of work into the roadster to create an exhilarating driving experience. This July, Mazda is making it easier than ever to put a new MX-5 Miata in your garage, with a monthly lease payment as low as $418. This specific lease deal requires $2,499 due at signing and spans a 36-month term with a 10,000-mile annual allowance. 2025 Mazda MX-5 Miata — Source: Mazda Mazda MX-5 Miata offers a unique driving experience in 2025 The Mazda MX-5 Miata received a refresh for the 2024 model year, so changes are light this time around. Fuel economy is nearly identical across all trim levels. MX-5 Miata models equipped with the manual transmission earn up to 26 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. Automatic models gain one mile per gallon on the highway. The entry-level Sport model, available from $29,530, comes well equipped, with 16-inch wheels, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, an 8.8-inch touchscreen display, and a six-speaker audio system. The base model isn't without its premium touches, though, with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, shift knob, and parking brake handle making the list of standard equipment. 2025 Mazda MX-5 Miata — Source: Mazda Autoblog Newsletter Autoblog brings you car news; expert reviews and exciting pictures and video. This is the Last Week to Get Lucid's Killer Air Lease Deal

The opulent Lucid Air sedan is an overlooked gem of an EV. It starts with the single motor Air Pure, with 420 miles of range and 430 horsepower funneled to the rear wheels, although dual motors and all-wheel drive are available. Then comes the Air Touring, with standard dual motors and all-wheel drive, 620 horsepower, and 406 miles of range. Next in line is the Grand Touring, boasting 819 horsepower and 480 miles of range. Its brawnier brother, the Grand Touring Performance, generates 1,050 horsepower and 427 miles of range. At the top of the heap is the Air Sapphire, packing a massive 1,234 horsepower. Better yet, the Lucid Air possesses some of the fastest recharge times of any EV, with 300 miles being generated in as little as 21 minutes with a 350-kilowatt public quick charger. Even with slower chargers, it doesn't take long, with a Level 2 charger providing 75 miles of range in an hour. Being a low-slung sedan, not an SUV, drivers can take advantage of its responsive driveline that summons up 60 mph in as little as 1.89 seconds. Given the current incentives being offered, you might want to rush to your local Lucid store before they end on June 30th. Lucid is offering $2,000 off any on-site vehicle, $2,000 in conquest cash for those coming from an Acura, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW, Cadillac Ferrari, Genesis, Ineos, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lamborghini, Lexus, Lincoln, Lotus, Maserati, McLaren, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, or Volvo, and a $4,000 Tesla trade-in allowance. Keep in mind that the Lucid Air is not eligible for a $7,500 federal EV tax credit as its starting price exceeds the government's $55,000 MSRP limit. Still, there are some tempting deals. You can lease a Lucid Air Pure for $519 a month for 36 months with $3,639 due at signing. Opt for the Touring trim, and it costs $539 a month for 36 months with $4,079 due at signing. Leasing a Grand Touring is quite a bit pricier at $849 per month for 36 months with $6,819 due at signing. All leases assume both the On-Site Bonus and Conquest Offer apply. Keep in mind that, when leasing, consider the monthly payment cost, taxes, and fees before signing. Lease offers vary by metro market. Check out Lucid's pricing here: If you don't like plunking down a wad of cash, the deals are still good, with the Lucid Air Pure going for $620 a month for 36 months, the Touring trim costing $652 a month for 36 months, and the Grand Touring coming in at $1,417 a month for 36 months. The Lucid Air is a grand touring car of the first order, one that indulges you in a way few others can. But the lease value comes at the lower end of the line-up, where even the base model provides more range than its competitors. If you can meet the offers, you'll find the Lucid Air costs about the same to lease as cars of much lesser quality, design, performance or prestige. It's just too good a deal to pass up. *Disclaimer: This article is provided for informational purposes only. 2026 Lincoln Corsair Hybrid Review, Pricing, and Specs

Overview Lincoln's most fuel-efficient offering is the 2026 Corsair Hybrid, which takes the standard Corsair model, juices it up with a little more power, and adds a plug. The plug-in hybrid powertrain combines a four-cylinder gas engine with two electric motors for a total of 266 horsepower. Performance and handling aren't anything to celebrate here, but the Lincoln's well-cushioned ride will win favor with drivers who prioritize comfort. The Corsair Hybrid's onboard battery pack holds enough juice for up to 27 miles of electric range, but extracting that many miles requires careful driving. It's better to just drive the Corsair Hybrid casually and enjoy the comfortable seats, which can be optioned as 24-way power-adjustable thrones with massage. What's New for 2026? Lincoln has made no changes to the Corsair Hybrid for 2026. Pricing and Which One to Buy The price of the 2026 Lincoln Corsair Hybrid is expected to start around $56,000. Grand Touring $56,000 (est) 0 $10k $20k $30k $40k $50k $60k $70k $80k $90k The Corsair Grand Touring hybrid is only available in a single trim. It is positioned at the top of the lineup and comes well-equipped, so we'd take it easy with options. The Collection II bundle adds some additional luxuries that elevate the experience, including a heated steering wheel, hands-free liftgate, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a wireless charging pad, so we'd add that and call it a day. Engine, Transmission, and Performance The Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine with two electric motors for a total system output of 266 horsepower; that's 16 horses more than you get from the Corsair's standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four. Power from the gas engine is delivered through a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and all-wheel drive comes standard. While the Corsair Grand Touring is adequately quick for day-to-day driving, rival PHEV crossovers are quicker. The GT exhibits similar road manners to the nonhybrid, complete with a pillowy ride and uninspired steering feel. 0–60-MPH Times At our test track, the PHEV model managed to reach 60 mph in 6.2 seconds, which is just 0.1 second behind the nonhybrid model. View Exterior Photos Marc Urbano | Car and Driver More on the Corsair Hybrid SUV Test: 2025 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring Plugs In Towing and Payload Capacity The Corsair Hybrid is rated to tow up to 2000 pounds. That's less than the nonhybrid model, which can tow up to 3000 pounds. Range, Charging, and Battery Life Thanks to its 14.4-kWh battery, the Corsair Grand Touring can travel up to 27 miles on electric power alone—as long as you go easy on the right pedal. Prod it too hard in EV mode, and the gas engine will fire up for assistance. In our real-world 75-mph highway range test, we achieved 19 miles on a full charge. By toggling to the Preserve EV mode, the GT uses the gas power plant and regenerative braking to maintain the battery's charge for later use. When the pack is depleted, Lincoln says it takes about 10 to 11 hours to recharge via a standard 110-volt outlet and three to four hours from a 240-volt outlet. Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG The EPA hasn't released any fuel economy information for the 2026 Corsair Hybrid yet, but the 2025 model earned ratings of 34 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 33 mpg combined. In our real-world 75-mph highway fuel economy test, we achieved 53 MPGe in EV mode and 31 mpg in hybrid mode. That puts the Corsair Grand Touring squarely mid-pack among its peers, including the more efficient Lexus NX450h+ and less efficient Volvo XC60 T8 Recharge. MPGe stands for miles per gallon of gas equivalent, an EPA metric that estimates PHEV and EV vehicle fuel efficiency. For more information about the Corsair Grand Touring's fuel economy, visit the EPA's website. Interior, Comfort, and Cargo The Corsair boasts a handsome cabin that's similar to those in other SUV offerings from Lincoln, such as the Navigator, Nautilus, and Aviator. It's upholstered in soft leather and offers plenty of features. Adjustable ambient lighting, 24-way power-adjustable seats, a head-up display, and an app that allows users to unlock, lock, and start the vehicle with their smartphone are all available—although ordering such items will add a princely sum to the bottom line. Surprisingly, Lincoln says a top-spec Black Label model of the Corsair is not in the cards. The Corsair's cargo bay is generously sized. We managed to fit eight carry-on suitcases behind the rear seats. Lowering the rear seatbacks opens up enough room for 21 cases in total. View Interior Photos Marc Urbano | Car and Driver Infotainment and Connectivity A 13.2-inch infotainment display running Lincoln's most up-to-date software is standard, and a 12.3-inch digital gauge display also comes on every model. Although there is a bit of a learning curve, the interface is easy to use, with joysticks on the steering wheel and voice-activated navigation helping the driver avoid reaching for the screen too often. The Grand Touring features a standard Revel 14-speaker audio system that comes with SiriusXM along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Safety and Driver-Assistance Features The Corsair hybrid comes standard with a suite of driver-assistance features that Lincoln calls Co-Pilot360, but unlocking high-tech assists such as a self-parking feature or a hands-free driving mode called BlueCruise requires springing for an option package. For more information about the Corsair hybrid's crash-test results, visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) websites. Key safety features include: Standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection Standard lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist Standard adaptive cruise control Warranty and Maintenance Coverage Lincoln's standard powertrain warranty is more generous than its German rivals. Buyers of nonhybrid Black Label models are treated to a four-year/50,000-mile complimentary scheduled maintenance plan, but because the Corsair isn't offered in the Black Label trim, its buyers will have to go out of pocket for all oil changes, tire rotations, and the like. Limited warranty covers four years or 50,000 miles Powertrain warranty covers six years or 70,000 miles Hybrid components are covered for eight years or 100,000 miles No complimentary scheduled maintenance Specifications Specifications 2025 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring AWD Vehicle Type: front-engine, front- and rear-motor, all-wheel-drive, 5-passenger, 4-door wagon PRICE Base/As Tested: $55,860/$68,820 POWERTRAIN DOHC 16-valve 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle inline-4, 163 hp, 155 lb-ft + 2 AC motors, 129 and 67 hp, 173 and 111 lb-ft (combined output: 266 hp; 11-kWh [C/D est] lithium-ion battery pack; 3.3-kW onboard charger) Transmissions, F/R: continuously variable automatic/direct-drive CHASSIS Suspension, F/R: struts/multilink Brakes, F/R: 12.1-in vented disc/11.9-in vented disc Continental CrossContact LX Sport 245/45R-20 99V M+S DIMENSIONS Wheelbase: 106.7 in Length: 181.4 in Width: 76.4 in Height: 63.8 in Passenger Volume, F/R: 55/46 ft3 Cargo Volume, Behind F/R: 56/27 ft3 Curb Weight: 4542 lb C/D TEST RESULTS 60 mph: 6.2 sec 100 mph: 16.5 sec 1/4-Mile: 14.8 sec @ 95 mph 120 mph: 26.7 sec Results above omit 1-ft rollout of 0.3 sec. 2025 Mazda MX-5 (Miata) lease offer for June 2025

There are few roadsters out there that have survived the test of time like the Maita has. The Miata is now in its fourth generation, and Mazda isn't likely to discontinue the model anytime soon, with rumors that future generations may even be electrified. If you want to see what the Miata is all about, June might be the time to buy one, as Mazda has dropped some pretty exciting lease offers, considering the current automotive market. The lease offers for the 2025 model year Miata apply to both the Grand Touring and the RF Grand Touring (hardtop) with the manual transmission. If you're in the Los Angeles or Denver area, you can get a Miata Grand Touring for $503 a month / 48 months, with $3,999 due at lease signing and a $650 acquisition fee rolled into the monthly payments. That lease also has a 10,000-mile-per-year requirement. Prefer an RF hardtop? That lease offer increases to $562 a month / 48 months with the same $3,999 due at signing. The same mileage conditions and acquisition fee apply. Miami residents get a slightly better deal. The regular Grand Touring lease drops to $425 a month / 36 months with $2,499 due at lease signing and the same conditions, while the RF hardtop increases to $607 a month / 36 months with $2,499 due at lease signing. Live in New York? That same Grand Touring lease increases to $529 a month / 36 months with $2,999 due at lease signing and the same conditions. The RF hardtop offer is the same, at $607 a month / 36 months with $2,999 due at lease signing and the same conditions. Potential lessees who want to save money on the upfront costs can pay $0 at signing, with some adjustments to the monthly payment. We have estimated the monthly payments by spreading the amount at signing over the lease's term. Los Angeles and Denver residents opting for a regular Grand Touring would pay approximately $83 more per month, resulting in a payment of around $586. That same increase counts for the RF hardtop, too, resulting in a monthly payment of around $645. Miami residents wanting a Grand Touring with $0 down would pay an additional $69 per month for a total payment of around $494. That increase added to the RF hardtop would increase monthly payments to around $676. As for New Yorkers, their $0 Grand Touring Miata would pay $83 more per month for a total payment of around $612. The RF hardtop brings the same increase for a monthly payment of about $690. *This $0 down figure is an estimation. Official $0 down lease offers from Mazda may differ based on their specific calculations, credit approval, and potential money factor adjustments. Always obtain a quote directly from Mazda. The current model year Miata continues the tradition of lightweight motoring set by its ancestors. All trims use a 2.0L inline-four cylinder engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. All 181 horses and 151 lb-ft. of torque are sent to the rear wheels, just the way the car gods intended. The top Grand Touring trim, if you don't count the 35th Anniversary Edition, adds a few luxury items into the mix, like special machine-cut 17-inch wheels, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, door sill trim plates, an auto-dimming driver's side mirror, automatic climate control, leather-trimmed seats, Mazda's navigation system, adaptive headlights, and more. Lease offers can vary based on location and specific vehicle configuration (trim level, options, etc.) and are subject to credit approval. Advertised payments typically exclude taxes, title, registration, and other potential fees. To take advantage of this offer or to get a precise quote based on your needs (including an official $0 down option), visit the official Mazda website here. *Disclaimer: This article is provided for informational purposes only.
