News 8 Primetime 585 Elite Awards: Girls Nordic
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Our girls Nordic award goes to an athlete who placed in the top three in every league race this season and ended her year as one of the top skiers in Section V.
She is just a junior and Nordic isn't even her primary sport, but this athlete dominated all season.
She placed second in the sectional individual 7.5-kilometer classic distance race at Harriet Hollister Park.
At states she took another second-place finish in the individual race and had the second fastest split in the skate relay.
She was named first team all-county and all Greater Rochester Skier of the Year.
