Body of a 70-year-old Green Bay man found in Fox River; Green Bay police investigating

The body of a 70-year-old Green Bay man was recovered July 1 from the Fox River near Leicht Memorial Park, according to the Green Bay Police Department. Police were notified around 4:20 p.m. about a body seen in the water. The body was removed from the water at 4:38 p.m. Police are investigating the death, but do not believe the public is in any danger. The identity of the man was not immediately released. This is the third body recovered from a Green Bay river since April, and the second one found in the Fox River. Two Green Bay men arrested in Florence County in connection with death of 2-year-old

Two Green Bay men have been arrested in connection with the death of a 2-year-old boy, according to the Green Bay Police Department. According to the news release from the police department: At 9:15 a.m. June 22, police responded to the 100 block of Alpine Drive for a 2-year-old boy with life-threatening injuries. The child was taken to the hospital. On June 24, he died from his injuries. On June 27, Green Bay detectives arrested two men, ages 21 and 48, in Florence County with the help of authorities from Florence, Forest and Marinette counties. Police continue to investigate the case and ask anyone with information to call Green Bay Police at 920-448-3200 and reference case No. 25-229554. 14-year-old and 15-year-old arrested after stolen SUV crashes into a west-side Green Bay house

Two teenagers are in police custody after a two-vehicle crash involving a stolen SUV, which crashed into a home on Green Bay's west side, police say. According to the Green Bay Police Department, officers responded about 8 a.m. June 26 to a crash near the intersection of Thomas and Lark streets. Police discovered an SUV, which had been reported stolen that morning, had struck a parked SUV before crashing into a home in the 1200 block of Thomas Street. The crash caused "significant damage" to the house, police said. Witnesses said the SUV was speeding before the crash, with two people fleeing the scene on foot. About 30 minutes after the incident, police found and arrested a 15-year-old male with an active warrant, and a 14-year old male. Police said the 15-year-old is believed to be the driver and the 14-year-old the passenger. Both were transported to the Brown County Juvenile Detention Center. The two teenagers suffered nonlife-threatening injuries from the crash. No occupants of the home were reported to have sustained any injuries. Green Bay Police asks anyone with information on the crash to contact them at 920-448-3200 and reference case No. 25-230295. According to police, the arrest followed a report of a suspicious person who allegedly made uncomfortable comments to a park employee and caused fear. The suspect reportedly resisted, and force was used to take him into custody. The individual, identified as 38-year-old John Alexander, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting an officer. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Police Department is actively looking for a suspect allegedly involved in a shooting on the City's west side that left a 43-year-old victim with life-threatening injuries. Officers say they were called to the 900 block of Shea Avenue on Saturday, June 14, around 4:15 a.m. Green Bay Police Chief Chris Davis provides details on local immigration enforcement policies When authorities arrived, they found the victim lying outside a residence with a gunshot wound. Witnesses reportedly stated that there had been an argument just before the shooting happened.
