Is star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown about to take another leap?
Is star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown about to take another leap as a player? With a season less than a decade of NBA experience under his belt coming into the Celtics' 2025-25 regular season campaign that will see the Georgia native take the helm of the Celtics as their best player while costar on the Jayson Tatum rehabs from a torn Achilles tendon, the opportunity will be there for Brown to showcase his complete package as a player. Whether or not he will have the level of supporting cast to do so is another question entirely with the departure of players like Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis, and Luke Kornet. But could this scenario still provide the perfect palate for Brown to showcase his ability to lead a team nonetheless? The folks behind the "WEEI Boston's Sports Original" YouTube channel put together a clip from a recent episode of their "Greg Hill Show" touching on this specific topic. Check it out below!

Boston radio hosts rail against Aaron Rodgers' final season comments: ‘Douche move'
Courtney Cox of WEEI's Greg Hill Show didn't hold back in response to Aaron Rodgers' early days as a Steeler. The former MVP revealed that the 2025 season would likely be his last earlier this week on 'The Pat McAfee Show.' Cox lit him up over the airwaves this weekend. Advertisement 'Give me a break with the 'I just wanted to do this for fun for my final (season) – it's been 20 years, haha, chuckle, chuckle. No, you did it so that you could tell everybody you're retiring and have a farewell tour. That's why you did it. You're an egomaniac, a narcissist,' she said. Her co-host Greg Hill echoed the sentiment, calling Rodgers' decision to announce his possible retirement 'a douche move.' Advertisement Hill added, 'Training camp hasn't even started, and you need to declare that this is, this is the last (year). 'If you want to ask me about it when I come to your city, feel free to ask me about it. Feel free to bother all the other guys also all season long when you ask them about my last season.'' The Greg Hill Show on WEEI went off on Aaron Rodgers. WEEI Cox later added that she may have been hypocritical but admitted that Rodgers himself was the driver of her reaction. Cox said she would do the same thing if she were an athlete in Rodgers' shoes. Advertisement 'The fact that it's Aaron Rodgers, that's why I hate it,' she said, later adding that she'd love it if Tom Brady did the same. Aaron Rodgers looks to pass during Minicamp at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex on June 11, 2025 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Getty Images Executive producer Chris Curtis didn't pull any punches either, labeling the multiple MVP and future Hall of Famer as 'loathesome' and lamenting that the Steelers had chosen to embrace Rodgers. 'It's beneath the Steelers to bring this guy in. It's pathetic. I hate that (head coach Mike Tomlin) is on board with it,' he added. 'He's not good anymore.' Advertisement The criticism likely won't be unpopular given how polarizing Rodgers has become throughout his career, especially within the last half-decade or so. Rodgers, 41, signed a one-year deal with Pittsburgh and will make approximately $13.6 million in 2025. Last season, Rodgers threw for 3,897 passing yards and 28 touchdowns to 11 interceptions while starting for the New York Jets in what was ultimately a disappointing season.

Could the Boston Celtics deal Jaylen Brown or Derrick White next?
Could the Boston Celtics deal Jaylen Brown or Derrick White next? After the Celtics traded away vet guard Jrue Holiday and Latvian big man Kristaps Porzingis to save money on a potentially historic luxury tax repeater bill, the team could be done making major moves for the 2025 NBA offseason. But it also might be gearing up for even bigger moves to reshape the roster while star forward Jayson Tatum recovers from a torn Achilles tendon in the 2025 East Semis. Could White or Brown (or both of them) end up on another ball club's roster before the start of the 2025-25 regular season? Or is this team's front office effectively done with all but minor moves around the edges for the foreseeable future? The folks behind the "WEEI Boston's Sports Original" YouTube channel put together a clip from their "Greg Hill Show" taking a closer look. Check it out below!

Who won the Jrue Holiday -Anfernee Simons trade, the Boston Celtics or the Trail Blazers
Who won the trade that sent Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers for Anfernee Simons, the Boston Celtics or the Portland Trail Blazers? The Blazers get a future Hall of Fame guard to bolster their already formidable defense, while the Celtics get cheaper and younger while recouping at least some of the draft asset value they sent out to Portland to land Holiday to begin with in 2023. A pair of second round picks from the New York Knicks in 2030 and the Blazers for the 2031 draft is headed Boston's way to that end, and the Celtics may not yet be done making moves to clear salary ahead of a potentially unprecedented tax bill, which this move also helps with $4.7 million in salary savings this season alone. The folks behind the "WEEI Boston's Sports Original" YouTube channel put together a clip from their "Greg Hill Show" podcast taking a closer look at which team, if any, 'won' the deal.
