‘Bruno Mars Net Worth' Trend Explained Amid Out of Debt Joke
Bruno Mars' net worth started trending online recently after the 'Grenade' hitmaker made a joke about a rumor from last year, which suggested he was in debt. The 16-time Grammy winner recently surprised fans at BLACKPINK's concert in Los Angeles on July 13, 2025. The South Korean girl group stopped by the city as part of their ongoing Deadline World Tour. But why is Bruno Mars' net worth trending, and what's the joke about him being out of debt? Here's everything you need to know. Bruno Mars shared a post on Instagram, highlighting his surprise appearance at BLACKPINK's concert at SoFi Stadium in L.A. At the concert, he joined Rosé in performing the duo's hit song 'APT.' 'Almost out of debt BehhhhhBehhhhh!!!' Mars captioned the post, adding, 'Preciate You ROSAAAAYYYYYY!!!! The caption humorously references a rumor that made the rounds last year. This rumor, which supposedly originated from a NewsNation report, alleged that the 'Die with a Smile' singer amassed a $50 million debt to MGM Resorts. An insider claimed that MGM 'basically [owned]' Bruno Mars. They added, 'He makes $90 million a year off of the deal he did with the casino, but then he has to pay back his debt… after taxes (Mars makes $1.5 million per night).' MGM Resorts subsequently debunked the rumor in a statement to multiple outlets. 'We're proud of our relationship with Bruno Mars, one of the world's most thrilling and dynamic performers,' the statement read. 'From his shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM to the new Pinky Ring lounge at Bellagio, Bruno's brand of entertainment attracts visitors from around the globe,' it added. (via Complex) It continued, 'MGM and Bruno's partnership is longstanding and rooted in mutual respect. Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM.' MGM concluded its statement, expressing excitement at 'creating unforgettable experiences' for guests. This wasn't the first time Mars made a joke about the debt rumors. Early this year, the pop icon celebrated a major milestone in his career — reaching 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify. He took to Instagram Stories to encourage fans to continue streaming his music, jokingly adding, 'I'll be out of debt in no time.' The shortlist for this year's Great British Entrepreneur Awards, dubbed the 'Grammys of Entrepreneurship', includes more than 800 entrepreneurs, who have been recognised for their innovation, impact, and resilience. Previous winners include BrewDog, Grenade, ClearScore, Zilch, and Unbiased. Mr Pearce, who won the SME News Business Elite Awards for the second time running in 2024, added: 'Our expertise comes from understanding the finance and the complex processes around research funding regulations. So many different businesses can benefit from R&D grants and tax relief without having to spend all their business hours on R&D. 'Short-term initiatives to improve the delivery of services or the development of goods also qualify under the legislation if there is an 'appreciable' improvement. It doesn't have to be significant and is not limited to laboratories or scientists. 'On average, our clients can generate cash benefits equal to 2.72% of their turnover and 7.30% of their wage bill.' Andrew Porter hails wife Elaine as a ‘champion' after long labour with newborn son
Dubliner Andrew and Elaine are now doting parents to a son, born two weeks ago — the first grandchild in both families. Going back to how he first contacted Elaine, who comes from Bray, Co Wicklow, Andrew says: 'It was over Instagram… a modern day romance. I remember shooting my shot… then we met up and went on a few dates. 'Elaine was someone I had an instant connection with. It's mad looking back how things have turned out. Back then, could you have said this is where we would be now? It's a mad thought, but I wouldn't change any of it.' Does she like rugby? 'Oh yeah, she's mad into it,' Andrew says. 'She was more of a GAA person before, and then she was forced into it when she met me, but she loves the rugby now. She goes to all the games when she can. She's the best fan I have and she's always there to patch me up when I need it after a tough game. 'I know the sacrifices she makes and now with the new arrival and what's on the horizon as well (the British & Irish Lions tour to Australia)…it's never an easy thing being a partner to a rugby player. 'It's tough to not feel guilty at times. It's nearly like everyone else's schedule revolves around mine.' Andrew was with Elaine when their son came into the world, describing the moment as a 'crazy' experience, adding that it was 'incredibly special getting to be there'. Elaine, who previously revealed that she suffered two miscarriages last year, was 13 hours in labour. 'It was a long old shift she put in, in fairness,' Andrew says. 'Rugby players put themselves through all sorts, but I don't think we put ourselves through anything close to that. Elaine's an absolute champion after what she went through. She's incredibly special. 'In the movies it looks so easy. They don't even come close to hitting the nail on the head.' Porter points out that his son was born 'on the day of the Champions Cup Final (which Leinster failed to reach), so it really puts things into perspective.' When we speak Baby Porter had yet to be given a first name. 'We're still trying to figure out his name,' Andrew reveals. 'We had a few, but after he was born we were like, 'I'm not sure if that suits.' It's Baby Porter at the moment.' An ambassador for high-protein performance brand Grenade, Porter is promoting their latest campaign Join the Revolution. As part of the campaign, Grenade will sponsor kits for 20 teams, offering them full branded kits, product hampers and team banners.
