Neighbours star Holly Valance and UK reform billionaire Nick Candy divorce after 13 years of marriage

Australian singer and former Neighbours star Holly Valance and UK billionaire Nick Candy, a key figure in the Reform UK party, have separated after 13 years of marriage. Friends told The Sun that the couple, who married in 2012, recently split following a challenging period balancing family life, public commitments, and Nick's demanding work schedule. Despite the separation, the pair remain focused on co-parenting their two daughters. Nick Candy, 52, is a property tycoon and treasurer of Nigel Farage's Reform UK party. He met Holly, 42, in 2009 and proposed two years later. The couple tied the knot in a lavish $6.3 million ceremony in Beverly Hills, California, attended by 300 guests including Simon Cowell. Holly first rose to fame as Felicity 'Flick' Scully on Neighbours before launching a pop career with hits like the chart-topping 'Kiss Kiss.' Nick began his property business with his brother Christian in the early 1990s and now holds a vast portfolio including the luxury One Hyde Park development in London, valued at over $2 billion AUD. In March Last year, Valance made headlines with a viral interview in which she spoke candidly about her political views and high-profile connections, further cementing her role as a prominent figure in Britain's conservative circles. Loading TikTok Post Valance spoke openly about her shift to conservative politics the month earlier, saying, 'Everyone starts off as a leftie and then wakes up at some point after making money, working, trying to run a business, trying to buy a home, then realises what crap ideas they all are.' Her candid remarks about her political evolution quickly went viral. In her sit-down interview with GB News' Political Podcast hosted by Chris Hope, nothing was off the table for discussion, from controversial climate activist Greta Thurnberg to Australia's 'wokeness' and COVID hard borders to praising Donald Trump. On Greta, she said: 'I don't understand why you have this, like, demonic little gremlin high priestess of climatism as the goddess in classrooms, Greta (Thunberg). 'And the kids are all coming home with depression and anxiety. Why would you go to your music lesson or bother doing your homework or get out of bed if you think we're all going to be dead in five years anyway? I mean, 'They told me in class, Greta told me'. 'Why would you bother, it doesn't give anybody hope.' On Australia, she criticised Down Under for how 'woke' it had gone and said she had no plans to return. 'I'll get a ticket within the first two hours of arriving, doing something, parking in the wrong place, going one K over the 30 or 25 K speed limit,' she said. 'The Australia I grew up in was unreal. It was so fun, and we didn't seem to have all these problems. The woke stuff's really gone big in Australia.' She even got stuck into the Australian school curriculum. 'I don't think children and sexuality should be in the same sentence,' she said. 'You don't know about mine, I don't know about yours, why would we? 'That stuff really irks me'. Valance claimed she missed her sister's wedding because of Australia's COVID lockdown. She also revealed she was an anti-vaxxer. 'If you are fit and healthy, you should be fine, your body will know what to do,' she said. Valance was sighted alongside former president Donald Trump in 2022, describing him as 'extremely warm, extremely gentlemanly'. She argued that people needed to 'harden up', particularly in regards to his often polarising remarks about women. 'People say nasty things all day,' she said. 'I have had disgusting things said to me … Did I cry? No.' At first, the social media pile-on against Holly Valance was swift. 'The vile opinions of a washed-up soap star, one-hit wonder, out-of-touch billionaire's wife,' was the kind of stuff tweeted fast and furious. But, then, it emerged she had just as many supporters. 'Holly Valance is speaking nothing but the truth,' was the kind of stuff being tweeted just as fast and just as furious. Both Holly and Nick have been influential in right-wing politics. Nick left the Conservative Party last year to join Reform UK, pledging to raise millions for the party. Holly has also become a prominent figure in conservative circles, attending high-profile events such as Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago and Boris Johnson's wedding. A family friend said: 'This has been a very difficult period for both Nick and Holly, and they are keeping things private out of respect for their family. The joint parenting of their two amazing daughters remains their top priority.'

Katie Price forced to delete Princess' birthday post after awkward blunder

Katie Price was forced to delete a loving post to daughter Princess Andre as she gets ready to celebrate her milestone 18th birthday Katie Price quickly deleted a gushing post to daughter Princess as she gets ready to celebrate her 18th birthday. The mum-of-five took to social media to share a loving upload - but quickly removed it. The 47-year-old former glamour model shares the teen with ex-husband Peter Andre. And taking to her Instagram Stories to mark the latest milestone, she said: "Happy 18th birthday to the most amazing daughter and my best friend @princess_andre I love you so much." ‌ However, her words came a few days too early, with Princess' birthday not being until Sunday. Katie swiftly removed her upload. ‌ Replacing it wit a new post, she went on to say: "2 days until Princess turns 18 can't believe it xx" She shared the sweet words with a snap of her daughter. She days before she turns 18, Princess Andre revealed the lavish top-of-the-range Audi she bough as a present to herself – with a bit of help from her dad. She also admitted she is planning several celebrations. But she admitted s he won't be going crazy to mark the milestone. "To be honest, I'm not fussed on doing a big thing,' she told us in her exclusive photo shoot for the occasion. 'I'll be very happy with a quiet dinner and maybe going somewhere after, so long as it's memorable and the people I love – my family and friends – are with me. I've left it in my dad and Emily's hands. It's going to be a surprise.' And speaking of how she will celebrate with her mum, she added: "Maybe we'll have a nice dinner together. I'm sure Mum will have something planned for me." ‌ But a trip to the club is seemingly off the agenda. 'I'm not really a big drinker or a big party-goer, but it'll be nice to be able to go to pubs and stuff with my friends,' Princess says. 'But at the same time, I'm not the sort of person who would embarrass myself. I'll never put myself in a position that would make me look bad.' Earlier this month Princess modelled beachwear at Ibiza Fashion Festival 2025, which was hosted by TV presenter Jenny Powell. She was among those who helped open the festival at Bibo Park in Ibiza on June 12. The event is described as an independent sustainable fashion show on the island off the coast of Spain. Princess represented the beachwear brand Greta, which has a flagship store in the Dominican Republic, at the event. It comes after she made her modelling debut for PrettyLittleThing last year. She had also collaborated with the fashion retailer previously. Rumours had suggested Princess could have sorted a deal with the brand, with speculation saying it could be worth a four-figure fee.

Princess Andre stuns in modelling debut as she storms runway in beachwear

Katie Price and Peter Andre's daughter Princess Andre modelled beachwear at Ibiza Fashion Festival 2025, which was hosted by TV presenter Jenny Powell, earlier this month Model Princess Andre made her runway debut at an event abroad recently as she continues to pursue opportunities in the fashion industry. The teenager took part in this year's Ibiza Fashion Festival, where she graced the catwalk. Princess, 17, was among those who helped open the festival at Bibo Park in Ibiza on June 12. The event, which was hosted by presenter Jenny Powell, is described as an independent sustainable fashion show on the island off the coast of Spain. ‌ It was previously announced that 10 designers would have their work showcased at Ibiza Fashion Festival this year. They follow in the footsteps of swimwear brand Naia Beach, co-founded by Tess Daly, which headlined last year. ‌ Princess - who is the youngest Katie Price 's two children with Peter Andre - is said to have opened the festival two weeks ago. She represented the beachwear brand Greta, which has a flagship store in the Dominican Republic, at the event. Photos from the occasion show Princess modelled an outfit from a collection by the brand. She's seen wearing a blue bikini top and a coordinated pair of trousers whilst on the catwalk at the venue. Princess' first runway appearance comes after she made her modelling debut for PrettyLittleThing last year after having collaborated with the fashion retailer previously. There had been speculation prior that a deal between Princess and the brand could be worth a four-figure fee. Earlier this year, she teased that she would "love" to have her own makeup range. Her mother Katie, 47, has given her name to makeup lines over the years, including her having once collaborated with the brand Revolution Beauty. Princess has expressed hope in becoming "very successful" and once teased that she would like to be a millionaire in the near future. She told the Sun last year that she wants to "achieve so many things" and be her "own person". ‌ She added: "I just know I want to be very successful." The outlet reported that she went on to address speculation that she will be a millionaire by the age of 20. She's quoted as saying: "That sounds amazing. My goal is definitely up there." Princess opened up about her ambitions in an interview with OK! magazine recently ahead of her 18th birthday this weekend. She shared that she's inspired by Kylie Jenner, 27, and Molly-Mae Hague, 26, who have their own brands. She added: "The goal is to follow these women in creating a really successful business and brand. That's really the biggest thing I'm looking forward to in adulthood." Princess continued: "The fact that I won't be a child any more opens up more opportunities. When you're older, more brands want to work with you. It's scary, because being 18 means I'll have a lot more of my own responsibilities, but I'm really focused on building as much as I can for my future in the right way, with the right people around me."

Eighties film icon unimpressed by 'gratuitous' modern day sex scenes

Greta Scacchi did not hold back on her thoughts on bedroom scenes and intimacy coordinators English-Italian actor Greta Scacchi says she wouldn't have benefited from an intimacy coordinator when she started her career in the 80s in Hollywood films including White Mischief, Heat and Dust and The Player. Asked if it would have helped, Greta, 65, said: 'I don't at all. Actors don't want to be choreographed into positions unless there's a real antipathy or a communication problem. Luckily, I didn't have that. The most discomfort I've had in those situations was with directors and their own… appetites, let's say. It sometimes gets muddied by voyeurism, and that leads to us being shown stuff that a lot of us don't want to see. That's where you need the intimacy coordinator.' ‌ Since 2022 Greta's screen appearances have been a little different. In cozy Australian murder mystery Darby and Joan on U&Drama in the UK, she stars as widowed English nurse Joan Kirkhope. She teams up with Australian ex-detective Jack Darby (played by Bryan Brown). The pair have a will-they, won't-they relationship in the series but Greta says both actors think it would be a mistake if their characters got together. ‌ Asked if things have changed today on TV, Greta highlighted in the Radio Times that sex scenes on screen were now very different. She said: 'In my 20s, the female voice was still struggling to emerge, directors were mostly male and simulated lovemaking was obligatory. But in the 80s, it was soft focus and made to look beautiful and slowed down, whereas now I find it really gratuitous – this explicit rutting stuff is very odd to see. I find it so uninteresting, ugly and very compromising for the actors. It sounds funny coming from me, because I got labelled for nudity and sex scenes, but I don't believe it was a deserved label. 'I had a bed scene with Laurence Olivier [in 1984's The Ebony Tower] and that's where it started. I got that label. It made me wish I'd used a stage name.' Last year when promoting her work for Netflix show Bodies, Greta also looked back at her earlier work on screen. She told the Guardian: 'It was very clear to me even then that I was always being invited to play a male fantasy. I had to work very hard to punch some integrity into the idea of being a woman when I was placed inside that male gaze. ‌ "I've seen that change a lot, and there are so many more female directors getting attention, which is great, but the way older women get portrayed is often still very odd. Where are the glamorous – or even not glamorous – representations of today's older women? Where are the women who went through women's lib?' Greta was born in Milan, Italy but spent her childhood in England. She began working in theatre when she spent two years of her teens in Australia, where she began working in theatre. Her films include White Mischief, The Player and Emma. In 2024 Scacchi played Mrs Hardcastle in a 1930s-style update of Goldsmith's She Stoops to Conquer at the Orange Tree theatre, Richmond. ‌ On theatre work, she said: 'It's like my sacred space. As you get older, life itself continues to throw more challenges and dramas your way, and doing theatre, with its pace, its timings of rehearsals and its rules, makes me feel a bit more in control.' Greta has been in two long term relationships that resulted in children. She had a four year relationship with actor Vincent D'Onofrio, with whom she has a daughter named Leila George. They split soon after they had their first child in 1992. The split reportedly left her so distraught she was unable to work for four years - just when her Hollywood career was taking off. Later, she began a relationship with her first cousin, Carlo Mantegazza, and they have a son Matteo, born in 1997. This relationship ended more than a decade ago but was only confirmed years later in 2022 by her publicist. * The full interview with Greta is in the Radio Times, out now.
