The duration of the exam is three hours. The written paper will comprise 200 objective-type questions for a total of 300 marks divided into three parts. Part A is set entirely in Tamil, candidates can choose between English and Tamil for the other two sections. While part A will include 100 questions focused on Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring test, part B will have 75 questions covering General Studies, part C will contain as many as 25 questions on aptitude and mental ability.
