Surbhi Jyoti just revealed her biggest weakness, and let's just say, it is better not to test it. The actress, who became a household name with her role in Qubool Hai, recently shared a fun video on social media. And joining Surbhi in this playful moment was none other than her friend, Rithvik Dhanjani. In the clip, Surbhi and Rithvik are seen having a playful conversation. Rithvik starts by asking her, 'Baaki sab toh thik hai, magar aapki kamzori kya hai? (Everything else is fine, but what is your weakness?)" Surbhi immediately replies, 'Woh mujhe na, gussa jaldi aa jaata hai (I tend to get angry very quickly)." Rithvik follows up with, 'Kyun? (Why?) And right on cue, Surbhi hits him to show exactly what she means. Of course, it was all in good fun. The duo's expressions and timing make the whole exchange even more hilarious. She revealed that she was not comfortable with the idea at first and had actually rejected the show. But it was her husband, Sumit Suri, who convinced her to take it up. 'Sumit said, 'If you want to do something on television, why not do their number one show?' And back then, Naagin was the number one show," Surbhi shared in an interview with Pinkvilla. Talking about her meeting with Ektaa Kapoor, Surbhi shared how convincing and powerful Ektaa's storytelling is. She said that Ektaa has a way of narrating that just pulls you in completely. In fact, Surbhi joked that Ektaa is so good at it, she would have agreed to play even the smallest or strangest role. On the work front, Surbhi was last seen in the web series Gunaah on JioHotstar. Veteran actor Raza Murad has recently addressed and dismissed a long-standing rumor involving himself, late superstar Rajesh Khanna, and actress Dimple Kapadia. The speculation suggested that Khanna had slapped Murad upon seeing him with Kapadia at Film City. What Raza Murad Said About The Incident? In a candid conversation on the podcast The Filmy Charcha, Murad clarified that such an incident never occurred. He stated, 'Neither I ever went to Film City with Dimple, nor such a situation ever happened, and never have Dimple Kapadia, Rajesh Khanna, and I ever been in the same spot together. We used to shoot separately with Kakaji (Khanna) and Dimple. This baseless rumour didn't have even 1% truth in it. It was a 100% lie.' Murad further recounted that the rumor originated from an article in a film newspaper called Urvashi, which claimed that he and Kapadia arrived at Film City together, leading to an altercation with Khanna. He emphasized that this narrative was entirely fabricated. 'I Didn't Even Make A Mention To Them' Reflecting on the impact of such rumors, Murad mentioned encountering the journalist who penned the article at a film party. Despite his anger, he chose not to confront the individual publicly, stating, 'I didn't even make a mention of that to them. I just met them like the way I always did. Because when you're at someone's party, you don't have the right to ruin that. He further said, 'It was possible I'd have entered into an argument, or even a brawl, with them, since they made such a damaging allegation towards me. But since it was someone else's party, there shouldn't be any bitterness or misbehaviour there. So I remained completely normal.' For the unversed, Murad and Kapadia have collaborated on several films, including Janbaaz (1986), Aag Ka Gola (1989), and Gunaah (1993). Similarly, Murad and Khanna shared screen space in movies like Namak Haraam (1973) and Riyasat (2014). Tanmay exclusively shared that he will be seen playing an angry stepson to Megha Chakraborty's character Ishani. Tanmay said, "I'm delighted to join the cast of Jhanak. I will essay on the role of Yash. He is Ishani's (Megha Chakraborty) stepson. He is angry, emotional, and doesn't hide his feelings.' Tanmay revealed that his character doesn't accept Ishani as his mother. 'He is openly rude to Ishani, his stepmother, and clearly shows that he doesn't accept her. What is the ₹65 crore Mithi River desilting scam? How is actor Dino Morea linked?
Actor Dino Morea and his brother Santino were questioned by the Mumbai police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW) on Monday to uncover their potential role in the ₹65 crore Mithi River desilting scam. According to a Free Press Journal report, the actor and his brother's link to the main accused, Ketan Kadam, was unearthed after Mumbai police discovered multiple phone conversations between them. Actor and former model Dino Morea's name emerged when the police was investigating call records and financial transactions liked to Kadam. Officials said evidences unearthed so far are being probed further. The Mithi River desilting scam involves alleged financial irregularities in the rental of silt pusher machines as well as dredging equipment by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), India's richest civic body. So far, 13 individuals have been booked in the case. According to officials, the main accused Kadam and his associate Jayesh Joshi, allegedly acted as intermediaries between suppliers and BMC, and managed to charge an inflated amount from the civic body. This scam was allegedly executed in connivance with officials from the civic body's storm water drains department (SWD) and Matprop executives. Ketan is the director of Woder India LLP, a Mumbai-based company that provides desilting services. Jayesh is associated with Virgo Specialties Pvt Ltd, a Mumbai-based industrial product manufacturer. Dino made his Bollywood debut with the hit film Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. He later appeared in several movies such as Raaz, Gunaah, Aksar, Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee, Dus Kahaniyaan, and Heroes. His most recent appearance was in the web series The Royals, which also starred Zeenat Aman, Ishaan Khatter, and Bhumi Pednekar. He will next be seen in Housefull 5, set for a release on June 6. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film also features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and Johny Lever.
