Shanaya Kapoor admits she is a true old-school romantic in the Gen Z age of fast dating

She acknowledged that their generation is very detached and quick to move on, and she is part of that generation too. She mentioned that her friends behave that way, and everyone has their own approach. However, deep down, she considers herself an old-school girl when it comes to love. She looks for a long-term relationship and is not quick to move on or jump around, as that is not who she is. When she finds that special person, they become like home to her. She wants to find that feeling of home and that sense of comfort. Throwback to when the late Shridevi teased 15 year old Janhvi Kapoor about her broken Hindi
Janhvi Kapoor is the eldest daughter of the late actress, Sridevi , and filmmaker Boney Kapoor . She made her acting debut with the 2018 Shashank Khaitan film 'Dhadak', alongside Ishaan Khatter. Since then she has starred in various movies, turning herself into a promising young talent in the Indian film industry . This 2012 throwback piece is from a time when Janhvi was only 15 and had been invited to a launch event of the People magazine issue featuring her, her mother Sridevi, and her younger sister Khushi on the cover. At the launch event, the media asked Janhvi to say a few words in Hindi. Since she wasn't very comfortable speaking Hindi, she struggled and fumbled a bit in her response, "Hindi mein? I don't... Actor Chandan K. Anand, known for his compelling performances in Class, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Fighter, and Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul, is making waves once again with two standout projects—SonyLiv's psychological drama Kankhajura and Dharma Productions' Homebound, which recently premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. In Kankhajura, Anand portrays Roshan Mathew's jail-mate, a role laced with psychological complexity and restrained menace. For Anand, stepping into such roles isn't just about rehearsing lines or hitting marks—it's a deeper, more immersive process. 'It's never easy to portray complex characters — because it's not just about acting. As actors, we hone our craft for years, but to live a complex character, you must go beyond technique. You must embody the soul of that character so completely that no trace of 'acting' remains," he shares. After Ajay Devgn and Mani Ratnam supported her, Pankaj Tripathi has now spoken about practising the art of saying no on set. He spoke about every person knowing their limits and that he cannot keep working for 16-18 hours at a stretch. Talking to Anupama Chopra in The Hollywood Reporter interview, Pankaj Tripathi expressed that he always faces difficulty in saying 'No'. But, the Stree 2 actor also said that he is practising this art now. Talking about extended hours on the set, the actor stated that every individual should know their boundary after which they should politely say 'no'. He opened up about days when his work hours kept extending. Pankaj Tripathi seemed annoyed when he spoke about the times his work hours stretched for 16 to 18 hours on the set. 'Main bol bhi raha hu ki actor ja chuka hai labour ruka hua hai,' quipped the Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl star. Tripathi further stated that now he has decided to politely start refusing to stretch his hours by saying that he cannot cross his boundary. With folded hands in the interview, he said that now he will also tell the directors that whatever is left will be done the next day. For the unversed, Deepika Padukone recently stepped out of Sandeep Reddy Vanga 's Spirit opposite Prabhas over the same issue. She demanded an 8-hour work shift and Rs 40 crore remuneration, which was both rejected by the Animal filmmaker. This led to their fallout and the actress being replaced by Triptii Dimri in the film. On the work front, Pankaj Tripathi's latest OTT show, Criminal Justice Season 4, was released. The show has only 3 episodes left, which have left fans agitated. Apart from this, certain reports of him replacing Paresh Rawal in Hera Pheri 3 started doing the rounds after an AI image of him as Baburao spread on the internet. But nothing of this sort has been confirmed yet.
