NHL News: Ex-Lightning Defender Re-Signs With Jets
Former Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Hadyn Fleury has signed a two-year, $1.9 million contract extension with the Winnipeg Jets.
Fleury left the Lightning this past off-season after he signed a one-year contract with the Jets for the 2024-25 campaign in free agency. Now, with this new extension, he will be sticking around in Winnipeg for another two years.

Fleury appeared in 39 games this season with the Jets, where he recorded seven assists, 48 hits, 56 blocks, and a minus-12 rating. He also had two assists and a plus-2 rating in eight playoff games for the Jets this year.
Fleury spent the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons as a member of the Lightning. In 53 games as a Bolt over that span, he posted one goal, five assists, six points, 61 hits, and a minus-5 rating.
