Hamas: Famine in Gaza has Reached Catastrophic Levels, Immediate Action Needed
DaysofPal-The Hamas Movement warned on Thursday that famine in the Gaza Strip has reached dangerous levels, threatening the lives of hundreds of thousands of residents amid a blockade that has lasted for over 21 months, and the ongoing Israeli aggression against the territory. In a press statement, Hamas said that the Israeli occupation is deliberately using a policy of 'starvation and denial of basic necessities' as a tool of genocide, describing it as 'one of the most horrific crimes committed against children and innocent civilians in modern times.' Hamas strongly criticized the silence of the international community and its institutions, particularly the UN Security Council, stating that ignoring the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe 'sets a dangerous precedent that reinforces the logic of lawlessness and contempt for international and humanitarian laws.' The Movement called on Arab and Islamic countries and the United Nations to take immediate action to pressure for the lifting of the siege imposed on Gaza and to allow the urgent entry of food and humanitarian aid. It emphasized the urgent need to end the cycle of killing, genocide, and brutal starvation. Shortlink for this post:

Hamas: US Sanctions on Albanese a Blatant Bias Toward Zionist War Crimes
Days of Pal—The Hamas Movement has condemned the United States' imposition of sanctions on Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the Palestinian territories, calling it 'a blatant expression of the U.S. administration's deep bias toward Zionist war crimes' and 'a disregard for international institutions and their representatives who document the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the occupation in Gaza.' In a press statement released Friday, Hamas stressed that 'the punitive measures taken by the United States against institutions and individuals fulfilling their professional and moral duties in documenting the genocide in Gaza, most recently against Albanese, undermine the foundations of international and humanitarian law and embolden Israeli war criminals to continue their brutal crimes.' The Movement urged the US administration to 'reconsider its policies that position it as an actual partner in the killing of children and women and the destruction of civilian life in Gaza,' calling for Washington to 'lift its criminal cover from this ongoing massacre that has now lasted 21 months.' On Wednesday, the U.S. Department of State announced the sanctioning of Albanese for her efforts to prompt the International Criminal Court to take action against both the U.S. and the Israeli occupation for violations of international law amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza. In response, Albanese wrote on her Instagram and X accounts: 'No comment on mafia-style intimidation. I am busy reminding member states of their obligations to prevent and punish genocide — and those who benefit from it.' Also on Wednesday, Albanese demanded that Italy, France, and Greece explain their role in granting 'safe airspace' to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu — who is wanted by international justice for war crimes. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said: 'Today, I am imposing sanctions on Albanese for her unlawful and disgraceful efforts to push the ICC to act against American and Israeli officials, companies, and executives.' He added that Albanese's political and economic campaign against the U.S. and the Israeli occupation 'will no longer be tolerated,' and that 'we will continue to take whatever steps we deem necessary.' On the same day, the U.S. also called on UN Secretary-General António Guterres to remove Albanese from her position, accusing her of 'antisemitism,' according to American claims. Since October 2023, Albanese has issued multiple reports documenting Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and has described Israeli attacks and actions in the occupied territories as genocide. Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation, with US support, has carried out a genocide in Gaza involving mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international appeals and orders from the International Court of Justice to stop. The war has resulted in more than 195,000 Palestinians killed or injured, the majority of them children and women, along with over 10,000 missing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, and famine that has claimed the lives of many, including children. Hamas Accuses Netanyahu of Sabotaging Gaza Ceasefire Deal
DaysofPal – The Hamas Movement said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent statements to the families of Israeli captives, in which he claimed that a comprehensive deal could not be reached, confirm his 'malicious and ill-intentioned' stance. In a statement, Hamas said, 'The war criminal Netanyahu is placing obstacles in the path of reaching an agreement that would lead to the release of prisoners and an end to the aggression against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.' The group added that it had previously offered a comprehensive exchange deal, under which all captives would be released in one phase, in return for a permanent cessation of hostilities, the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Strip, and the unrestricted flow of humanitarian aid to allow Palestinians to rebuild their lives. Hamas said Netanyahu rejected that proposal and continues to stall and impose new conditions. 'The movement continues its positive and responsible engagement in the negotiations,' noted the statement's conclusion. Netanyahu's remarks came during a speech in Washington, where he reiterated that while he wants a deal on Gaza, it 'will not be at any price.' He also said he is working with former U.S. President Donald Trump to secure Israel's security objectives, emphasizing that a comprehensive deal is currently not possible. Netanyahu stated that negotiations to end the war would begin only after a ceasefire is in place, warning that 'if Hamas is not disarmed and dismantled within 60 days, we will resume fighting.' 'We will enter negotiations to permanently end the war, but this must happen on our terms. If Hamas is disarmed through talks, that's good. If not, we will do whatever it takes to achieve our goals,' he said during his visit to the U.S. capital. Netanyahu, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for alleged war crimes in Gaza, added, 'Determining who will be released is not entirely in our hands. We want to free all the abductees at once, but this process happens in two stages and is not fully under our control.' Shortlink for this post:

Hamas Urges UN to Move Beyond Condemnation of Israeli Crimes
DaysofPal- The Hamas Movement has condemned the ongoing daily massacres across the Gaza Strip, where dozens of Palestinians have been killed since dawn today due to Israeli occupation airstrikes targeting residential neighborhoods, displaced persons' tents, shelters, and aid distribution points. In a statement issued Saturday evening, Hamas described the continued massacres as 'a further escalation in the genocide being perpetrated by the war criminal Netanyahu's government.' The Movement called on Arab and Islamic countries, as well as the United Nations and its agencies, 'to move beyond mere condemnation and take effective action to stop the systematic war crimes committed by the terrorist occupation against innocent civilians for the past 21 months—crimes that include massacres, starvation, and the destruction of all means of life.' Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has waged a campaign of genocide in Gaza involving killing, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, ignoring all international appeals and defying International Court of Justice orders to cease hostilities. The war has resulted in approximately 193,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, more than 10,000 missing, and hundreds of thousands displaced—alongside a famine that has claimed many lives, including those of dozens of children. Hamas Submits Positive Response to Ceasefire Proposal, Signals Readiness for Immediate Negotiations
DaysofPal – The Hamas Movement announced on Friday evening that it had submitted its response to the latest Gaza ceasefire proposal, characterizing it as 'positive' and expressing readiness to begin immediate negotiations on implementing the plan. In a statement, Hamas confirmed it had 'completed its internal consultations with Palestinian factions and forces regarding the mediators' latest proposal to stop the aggression against our people in Gaza,' adding that the official reply had been delivered to mediators and was marked by a spirit of 'positivity.' The group emphasized its 'serious readiness to enter immediately into a round of negotiations on the mechanism for implementing this framework,' referring to the ceasefire proposal aimed at halting Israeli military operations that have persisted since October 7, 2023. Media outlets earlier reported that Hamas's response signaled general approval of the proposal's core components while requesting 'minor and formal amendments.' According to those sources, the movement also reaffirmed the need to uphold the humanitarian protocol and voiced concerns about the structure and role of the proposed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, calling for increased involvement by United Nations organizations. On the Israeli side, a government official told Channel 12 that indirect negotiations between the parties are expected to commence following Hamas's response. 'After Hamas's response, indirect talks will begin between the two sides,' the official said, noting that an Israeli delegation may travel to Doha to participate in negotiations. 'These negotiations may not take more than a day and a half,' the source added. The Israeli Cabinet is expected to address the prisoner exchange file and the current state of affairs in Gaza on Saturday, according to Israeli media. Reports indicate that a tense meeting took place on Thursday, with heated exchanges between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, currently facing charges at the International Criminal Court, and Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir. Separately, Yediot Aharonot cited an Israeli source who claimed that if an agreement is reached, the announcement could be made jointly by Netanyahu and former U.S. President Donald Trump during their scheduled meeting in Washington next Monday.
