Qatar working to bridge gaps in Gaza ceasefire talks: Al Ansari
Hanane Djoua Doha Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari has affirmed that the indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas, currently hosted by Doha, aim to bridge the gap between the two parties regarding the negotiating framework. 'Both the Palestinian and Israeli delegations are in Doha, and discussions are currently under way with each delegation separately, with the aim of creating anappropriate environment for agreement on key issues between the two sides,' Dr Al Ansari said during the weekly media briefing on Tuesday. He said separate discussions are being held with each side in an effort to bridge the gap between them. The focus, he said, is on establishing a 'negotiation framework'—a document that precedes official talks. This framework would serve as a foundation for agreement on core issues before entering the final phase of negotiations. 'The negotiations are still ongoing, and it is too early to provide impressions about their outcome. But we can say that the discussions are continuing, and the parties are present and engaged here in Doha.' Dr Al Ansari expressed appreciation for the role of the United States in supporting the mediation efforts and noted that both the Qatari and Egyptian mediation teams are working around the clock in Doha in pursuit of a viable negotiation framework. He added that there is still hope surrounding the current efforts. Dr Al Ansari also addressed reports of statements made by Israeli officials regarding plans for the displacement of Palestinians, reiterating Qatar's clear and longstanding opposition to any such actions. He stressed that Qatar is against any forced transfer of Palestinians, whether outside or within their homeland. 'Palestinians, like any people in the world, have the right to exist where their land lies,' he said, referencing international law. He called on the international community to support Qatar's position and noted that there is widespread international rejection of any attempts to remove Palestinians from Gaza. 'This is their land,' he said. Dr Al Ansari clarified that the discussions currently under way do not represent the start of formal negotiations but are aimed at agreeing on a framework to reduce the time needed for actual talks once they begin. 'We are still in the framework stage,' he noted. 'That's why we are discussing principles that will allow the negotiations to be more efficient. It is too early to speak about where the negotiations will lead, but there is engagement from both sides.' He stressed that the Qatari and Egyptian mediation teams continue their work with the goal of building consensus around the framework. 'This process needs time,' he said. 'We are working around the clock, but it's too soon to provide a timeframe.' Dr Al Ansari affirmed that the ultimate goal of the mediation efforts is to end the war and the humanitarian disaster unfolding in Gaza. He explained that the document under discussion is an agreed framework for the negotiations, not a final agreement. It includes the conditions for a ceasefire and the guarantees required to ensure that the truce leads to positive outcomes. 'We are not yet talking about a final agreement,' he said. 'We are focusing on the ceasefire and what it could lead to in terms of resuming talks toward a lasting solution to this humanitarian catastrophe.' Turning to the Afghan file, Dr Al Ansari confirmed that Qatar continues to communicate with the caretaker government in Afghanistan and maintains confidence in its role supporting the Afghan people. He reviewed Qatar's contributions to peace and stability in Afghanistan, including the mediation between the Taliban and the United States that led to the US troop withdrawal, representation of foreign missions including American interests in Kabul, and the hosting of meetings between UN envoys and Afghan officials in Doha. He emphasized that the question of recognition is a sovereign matter and part of broader international understandings, with each country free to handle it as it sees fit. He said Qatar welcomes the security and stability measures taken by the Afghan caretaker government but acknowledged there are still areas of ongoing discussion. Qatar continues its role as a mediator between the Afghan authorities and the international community. 'There is currently no new information regarding formal recognition or natural resumption of Egyptian relations,' he said. 'However, there is a functioning Afghan mission in Doha, and we hope to strengthen ties with the caretaker government and the Afghan people.' Dr Al Ansari referenced recent statements by US President Donald Trump supporting progress in the Gaza talks and affirmed that Qatar builds on this through joint mediation with the United States. However, he clarified that issues beyond the scope of mediation—such as bilateral matters between Israel and the US—do not fall within Qatar's role, except where they directly relate to the American stance on mediation. He stated that the ongoing Gaza negotiations in Doha are now in their third day and that both delegations remain present in the country. While no timeline can yet be given, he described the presence of the delegations and their engagement as positive. 'This is still the early phase,' he said, cautioning against premature expectations. 'Mediation is, by definition, a difficult process. We are sitting between two sides in the context of an ongoing war.' Nonetheless, the fact that both parties are engaging seriously and remain in Doha, he concluded, is itself a positive development.

‘Attack on Al-Udeid base unacceptable'
Hanane Djoua DOHA Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has reiterated Qatar's strongest condemnation of the attack on Al-Udeid Air Base by Iran. The PM stressed that the attack is an unacceptable act that violates Qatar's policy of good neighbourliness. 'Qatar condemns in the strongest terms the attack that occurred on Monday on the Al-Udeid Air Base by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, and Qatar denounces such behaviour by a neighbouring country with which Doha has maintaineda policy of good neighbourliness and transparency, and continues to do so,' the PM said at a joint press conference with Lebanese Prime Minister HE Dr Nawaf Salam. The PM said Qatar condemned the Israeli attacks on the territory of Iran from the first day. 'The Iranian people are a neighbouring people, and Qatar does not wish them harm. Qatar wants them to rise and develop. However, the act of attacking the State of Qatar is unacceptable,' he noted. The PM added that Qatar has been making significant diplomatic efforts with its regional and international partners to calm the situation, but unfortunately, Qatar was surprised by such an attack on a base in a fraternal country to Iran. Sheikh Mohammed praised the role played by Qatar's Armed Forces, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in confronting the attack. The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairssaid that HH the Amir was constantly informed and closely monitoring the situation from the time intelligence information was received about the anticipated attack on bases hosting US forces in the region, until the attack was repelled. The PM added that he would like to point out in particular that Qatar's Armed Forces performed a heroic act in repelling these attacks, as Qatari air defences intercepted all missiles except for one that fell in an open area. The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs also expressed the State of Qatar's deep gratitude to its sisterly and friendly countries for their solidarity with Qatar and their rejection of the attack, especially the brothers in the GCC countries, who were quick to express their support for Qatar and stand with it. He said Doha will host, at the request of the fraternal State of Kuwait, the current chair of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the 49th extraordinary meeting of the GCC Ministerial Council to discuss this dangerous development in the region. Sheikh Mohammedstressed the need to view the events taking place in the region with the utmost responsibility and wisdom, adding that the blatant Israeli attacks witnessed against several countries in the region, including Iran (despite the attacks against Qatar), are clear evidence that random and irresponsible actions only generate instability in the region and may lead the region to an even more difficult situation. He noted that after the attack on Al-Udeid Air Base, the armed forces, under the directives of the Supreme Commander, HH the Amir, studied the scenarios through which such an attack could be responded to. However, Qatar prefers diplomacy and wisdom and prioritises the public interest of the region above all else. The PM added that the message Qatar is trying to deliver first is that the State of Qatar, with the capabilities available to its armed forces, has been able to prove to everyone that it can defend itself, its citizens, and its residents. Everyone here is one people and has stood together. The PM emphasized that the precautionary measures taken by Qatar on Monday were sound and helped spare the country any losses or casualties. He urged everyone not to be swayed by rumors and false news and to obtain their information from official sources. The PM noted that HH the Amir received numerous calls following the attack on Al-Udeid Air Base, including one from US President Donald Trump. He noted that the conversation between the two leaders was extensive and focused on the events, their repercussions, and how to deal with them. He also referred to the US President's announcement of a complete ceasefire on all fronts, saying that the US asked the State of Qatar to communicate with the Iranian side to determine their readiness for a ceasefire, and that Qatar made the necessary contacts that resulted in the announcement made by the US President. The PM expressed the State of Qatar's welcome of this announcement, 'despite the violations seen today of the ceasefire.' Qatar hopes the ceasefire will continue and that the matter will return to its diplomatic track, and Qatar urges the parties to adhere to what was agreed upon. The PM also urged the American and Iranian sides to return immediately to the negotiating table to resume nuclear talks and reach a diplomatic solution, which Qatar has long called for and sought to achieve. He added that Qatar wants a safe zone free of nuclear weapons, and wants this to be based on an agreement that guarantees the security and interests of all, as well as the interests of Iran, which is, after all, Qatar's neighbour. The PM noted that HH the Amir received a phone call on Tuesday from the Iranian President, who expressed his regret that the target that was attacked on Monday was in Qatar. He said that Qatar made it clear to the Iranian President that the State of Qatar is, after all, a neighbouring country and has always relied on good neighborliness in its relations with Iran and did not expect such an action. The PM stressed that despite all attempts to inflame this situation, the State of Qatar will always handle matters wisely, while affirming that the violation of its sovereignty is unacceptable, and that all diplomatic and legal measures will be taken in this regard. He also expressed hope that the issue will be contained as quickly as possible and that this chapter will be in the past. He added that it must not be forgotten at this point that everything happening in the region is an expansion of the conflict and aggression against Gaza. The PM said that the State of Qatar has sought from day one to prevent the escalation of this conflict and to stop the bombing of the people of Gaza. He stressed that these efforts are continuing, in partnership with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the United States, to achieve a ceasefire as soon as possible. He added that Qatar is engaged in ongoing negotiations that have not ceased, even under the difficult circumstances the region has been experiencing. Qatar's goal is to reach a ceasefire and lift the injustice suffered by the people of the Gaza Strip. Qatar believes it is time for the world to stand together and put an end to Israel's irresponsible actions in the region, to halt this aggression against the Strip, and to stop the use of humanitarian aid as a tool for political blackmail. He also said that Monday's attack on Al-Udeid Air Base was a shock not only to the government but to the people of Qatar, and Qatar considers it a violation of the good-neighbour policy that Qatar has adopted from the beginning. The PM affirmed Qatar's ability to defend itself and deter anyone who attempts to undermine its security, while maintaining peaceful relations with neighboring countries based on friendship, mutual interest, and benefit, and striving to avoid disputes. He stressed that the State of Qatar does not adopt an escalatory policy and always calls for and resorts to diplomacy. He added that what happened on Monday will have an impact on the relationship with Iran, but with time, Qatar hopes everyone will learn the lesson, and that relations between neighbouring countries must not be violated. He also affirmed that the attack on Al-Udeid Air Base will have no impact on relations with the United States, noting that the two countries have enjoyed a close alliance and partnership for decades, and that events have proven that this partnership is beneficial to both countries, as well as to security and stability in the region. He said the Qatar's Armed Forces demonstrated their ability to defend and ensure the protection of everyone, including Americans and others. He said that he does not believe that the attack will affect relations between Qatar and the United States, except that the partnership between the two countries will grow. He voiced his hope that good-neighbourly relations with Iran would return to normal as soon as possible, and that no hostile operations will be witnessed in the future. He stressed that the State of Qatar always seeks peaceful good neighbourliness, and that the Gulf states are a center of stability in the region, and that challenges and threats are shared. He noted that the opportunity is ripe for a better future for everyone in the Gulf region. He said that Qatar would like to see Iran share this vision and enter into partnerships with Qatar and the Gulf states based on the principle of good neighborliness and partnership for the prosperity of all. In response to a question about the legal and diplomatic measures Qatar will take regarding Monday's attack, the PM indicated that Qatar is still studying them. 'Qatar submitted a briefing to the Security Council on Monday night about what happened, and today, the emergency meeting of the GCC Ministerial Council will be held,' he said. The PM reiterated that the State of Qatar does not seek to escalate its stance, but rather seeks sustainable diplomatic solutions and always seeks to end any crisis through dialogue, and will not be a spearhead in escalating any stance. The PM also called for a clear mechanism for dealing with neighbouring countries in the future, and for a unified regional security system to prevent any party from attacking another. Regarding Gaza, the PM indicated that Qatar, following the calls between HH the Amir and both the US President on Monday and the Iranian President today, sought to ensure a continuation of the ceasefire, but ultimately, the matter depends on the parties involved. 'Today, the situation remains murky, and no party wants to be the one to receive or end the final blow. However, what Qatar hopes for is a serious stance, for all parties to deal responsibly with the security of the region, just as the State of Qatar dealt responsibly with the attack launched against it on Monday, and for there to be a complete ceasefire between Iran and Israel,' he said. The PM also called for full pressure on Israel to immediately cease fire in Gaza, noting that discussions on this issue are ongoing in cooperation with the Arab Republic of Egypt, and that communication is ongoing with the Israeli side and Hamas to try to find a compromise formula and common ground based on the American paper. The PM stressed that various achievements had been made in recent weeks, adding that unfortunately, the Israeli escalation and aggression against Iran disrupted and hindered these efforts for a period. He added that Qatar is continuing its efforts and is looking for an opportunity within the next two days to hold indirect negotiations between the two parties (Israel and Hamas) to reach an agreement. He urged the Israeli side not to exploit the ceasefire with Iran to continue bombing Gaza. He also called on the international community to pressure Israel to implement a ceasefire and for Hamas to accept a deal that ends the war and releases all hostages and prisoners. Regarding the discussions with Prime Minister of the sisterly Republic of Lebanon HE Dr Nawaf Salam, he indicated that the discussions focused on bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. He also said that the two sides discussed ways to support Lebanon and enhance its stability, noting that the energy issue and how to work together to develop and restore the energy infrastructure was one of the most important issues discussed. In this context, he referred to the discussions held between the energy ministers of the two countries, saying that these discussions will be followed by an action plan, as Qatar promised the Prime Minister, in the coming months. In a related context, the PM noted that the discussions addressed the urgent need to provide energy to the brothers in Lebanon during the summer, indicating that this issue will be discussed with the Qatar Fund for Development and QatarEnergy to ensure that whatever is available is provided. The PM also noted that the discussions HE Dr Nawaf Salam addressed support and cooperation in the transportation and air navigation sectors, as well as possible efforts for reconstruction, particularly in areas destroyed by the Israeli occupation forces. He said that the meeting was an opportunity to discuss regional developments, expressing in this context the State of Qatar's full condemnation of Israel's violations of the ceasefire agreement and its continued violation of the sovereignty of Lebanon. He added that this is clearly and explicitly unacceptable and condemned, and Qatar looks forward to the Security Council fulfilling its role and working to halt these irresponsible Israeli actions in the region. The PM indicated that the discussions also covered developments in Lebanese-Syrian relations, wishing them a better future. He said that Qatar understands Dr Nawaf Salam's utmost keenness to develop relations with Arab countries, especially neighbouring countries, including Syria, and the State of Qatar fully supports these paths. For his part, the Lebanese Prime Minister renewed his country's gratitude to the State of Qatar and to HH the Amir, for the continued support and assistance extended to Lebanon - particularly through the Quintet Committee for political support, which remained active for over two years. Dr Salam expressed appreciation for Qatar's backing across several fields, most notably its support for the Lebanese army and various development projects. He noted that both sides agreed to continue discussions aimed at reaching an executive framework for Qatari support in key sectors, including energy and the supply of gas to Lebanon. Dr Salam also reiterated Lebanon's strong condemnation of the attack that targeted Qatar on Monday, calling it a violation of Qatari sovereignty and international law. He expressed hope for regional de-escalation and praised Qatar's efforts in halting military operations, voicing his wish for a renewed path of diplomatic engagement. Furthermore, he condemned the Israeli aggression against Iran, describing it as a breach of Iran's sovereignty and international law - a stance that Lebanon has upheld from the outset. The Lebanese Prime Minister stressed that the government is committed to asserting full state authority across all Lebanese territory, using its own national resources and in line with Taif Agreement. He emphasized the need for Israel to withdraw from five remaining occupied points along the southern border and to cease its near-daily violations of Lebanese sovereignty. He affirmed that Lebanon is actively working to rally political and diplomatic support - from Arab states to permanent members of the UN Security Council, including the United States - to compel Israel to end its aggression and occupation. He stated that there can be no real security in Lebanon, as long as Israel continues to occupy Lebanese territory, urging the international community to exert pressure on Israel to achieve this goal.

QF's Herfah launches 2nd year of celebratingtraditional Qatari and Islamic craftsmanship
Hanane Djoua Doha After a successful inaugural year of celebrating, promoting, and immersing the community in the richness of Qatari artistry and Islamic crafts, Herfah – a programme delivered through a partnership by Qatar Foundation and The King's Foundation School of Traditional Arts – has announced the launch of its second year. The programme – based within Al Khater House, a historic landmark in Education City – will continue to offer its core programming, including the year-long traditional crafts programme, short-term courses, and Ramadan workshops, all of which will be open to the public. As the first year of Herfah came to a close, the creative works of the graduates of its intensive programme were showcased at an event at Al Khater House, which was attended by Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice-Chairperson of Qatar Foundation. 'Our intention with Herfah was not only to preserve traditional skills, but to create a space where craft becomes a form of education, one that helps restore a deeper sense of value,' said Sheikha Hind. 'The more time we spend working with our hands, the more reverence we develop for what is well made. And in doing so, we come to see the world differently.' Herfah's second-year programme will begin in September, with registration opening in July and selected participants notified by the end of August. Applicants must be aged 18 years or older and have prior experience in crafts, and can enrol at and via Education City and Qatar Foundation social media channels. In addition to the year-long core programmes, a variety of short-term courses will be announced later in the year. In its inaugural year, Herfah engaged over 200 participants in hands-on learning experiences and creative exploration. Among them was Sana Arooj, who said she found the opportunity to explore traditional crafts an enriching experience while gaining a deeper understanding of Qatari culture, especially because of the thoughtful structure and delivery of each module. 'The dedication and effort of everyone involved in teaching the skills were remarkable, and their passion made the learning process more enjoyable and inspiring,' she said. 'Through my sessions, I gained not only technical skills, but also a deeper appreciation for cultural heritage and artistic mode. Most importantly, I learned to respect the process. 'Traditional crafts aren't about the final piece. It's about discipline, mindfulness and the journey of creation. It has inspired me to look at my surroundings with a more artistic lens, and to appreciate the beauty in heritage and craftsmanship.' Najiba Haqdost, another participant in Year 1 of the programme, said that being part of Herfah gave her the chance to learn and practise traditional craft skills – things she only had the chance to read about before. 'I spent time working on different projects – from painting using natural pigments to gilding using gold leaves,' she explained. 'I was guided by skilled artists who emphasised not only on the techniques of doing the craft but also on the history and philosophy behind it, which deepened my respect of heritage arts, and inspired me to keep these traditions alive in my own creative journey.' According to Kholoud M. Al Ali, executive director Community Engagement and Programming at Qatar Foundation, Herfah aims to deepen understanding and appreciation of Qatari and Islamic cultural heritage, while positioning Al Khater House as a dynamic hub for the preservation of tradition, innovation, and a space of learning, discovery, and cultural appreciation. 'The Herfah programme has made significant progress toward realising a vision where history is honoured, knowledge is exchanged, and creativity thrives, and we are excited to continue expanding its impact in the years to come,' Al Ali said. 'Through such initiatives, partnerships and educational programmes, Qatar Foundation plays a vital role in cultural preservation, safeguarding and promoting the rich heritage of Qatar and the broader Gulf region. As Qatar Foundation celebrates its 30th anniversary, these efforts further strengthen the connection between the community and its cultural identity, ensuring that these traditions are celebrated and passed down for future generations,' Al Ali added. Hussein Al Elayan, mental health specialist, told Qatar Tribune: 'I joined the Herfah programme because it is one of the first initiatives of its kind to run for a full year, combining a wide variety of traditional crafts with a culturally rich approach. What particularly drew me in was the programme's focus on art forms rooted in our Arab identity, along with the regular inclusion of international experts. 'The first skill I acquired was the foundational understanding of geometric art—learning how to extract patterns and apply them in cultural and artistic contexts. With a professional background in mental health, I found that the art of carving resonated with me profoundly. It aligns closely with concepts of emotional well-being and can be used as a tool to foster mindfulness and psychological balance. 'What truly distinguishes Herfah is its holistic and sustained nature. It is not just a collection of workshops, but a year-long educational journey delivered through a structured and thoughtful methodology.' Neila Essid, graphic designer, said: 'Honestly, the first time I came across the Herfah programme was on Instagram—they had made a post, and I felt an immediate connection. All of us in the programme explored everything—we tried marquetry, carving, painting, and working with gypsum. Then, toward the end of the program, each participant selected one craft to focus on. It's truly a new kind of programme in Doha. A full-year program? This is the first of its kind. With the certificate, new opportunities can open up. You could start participating in exhibitions or even launch your own project—something that's entirely your own.' Laila Noor, visitor experience concierge at Qatar Museums, told Qatar Tribune: 'For my individual project, I chose to work with gypsum carving and gilding, creating a mihrab (prayer niche) for the prayer room in Bayt Al-Khater. I also worked on a group project carving a wooden door panel with sadu symbols. Every subject was enjoyable—ceramics, natural dyes, textiles… 'My greatest passion, though, was for geometry. The classes opened my eyes to the depth and precision behind traditional geometric patterns. I honestly wished it was even longer. Each day, we spent over five hours in class, but not once did I feel bored. It was a release—a chance to recharge and contribute something meaningful.' Khadijetou Moussa, architect at Qatar Foundation, said: 'As an architect, we study modern design but not traditional crafts. Herfah offered a chance to connect with sacred geometry and its philosophical roots. My project was a wall frieze—a traditional decorative border. I used Qatari geometric inspirations and techniques like egg tempera and wood carving.''

INJAZ Qatar celebrates young innovators
Hanane Djoua Doha Under the patronage of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) of Qatar, INJAZ Qatar hosted a national awards ceremony for the Annual Young Enterprise of the Year Competition (Mubadara). The 18th edition of the Mubadara Awards was held at the Qatar National Convention Center on Sunday, bringing together students, mentors, government authorities, and partners to celebrate the most promising youth startups in Qatar. The ceremony marked the culmination of a six-month programme during which students conceptualized and brought to life their business ideas with guidance from industry professionals. This year, 12 university teams and 11 high school teams participated in the competition. Speaking to Qatar Tribune, Emad Alkhaja, CEO of INJAZ Qatar, said: 'Today is the awards ceremony and the completion of our program called The Company Program. It's a five to six-month journey that guides high school and university students to establish their own businesses. They go through the full life cycle of running a company. Mubadara 2025 is the final event—our awards ceremony—held in collaboration with major corporate names like ExxonMobil, Boeing, and QDB. Together, we work to find the Best Student Company of the Year from both high school and university tracks.' 'I believe Mubadara—and the Company Program in general—is more than just an entrepreneurship initiative. It teaches students many important skills, especially at this stage in their lives. It's a character-building experience where they learn about marketing, ideation, teamwork, communication, and financial reporting—all within just five months,' Alkhaja added. 'Of course, we aim to empower and encourage them to launch real businesses, but even just taking part in the program is a huge benefit. For university-level students, since they are of legal age, we also connect them with incubators in Qatar. Today, for example, we have partners like QUBIC and Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), who support students even after the programme ends.' Sheikha Hanadi Nasser Al Thani, Chair of INJAZ Qatar and INJAZ Al-Arab, also emphasised the significance of the initiative, stating: 'This year's Mubadara program is a testament to the passion, creativity, and resilience of our youth. The ideas we've seen go beyond business—they reflect a vision for a more innovative, inclusive, and sustainable future for Qatar and the region.' ExxonMobil Qatar, a platinum sponsor since the programme's inception in 2008, presented the Best Company of the Year award to the winning team. 'Our collaboration with INJAZ Qatar through Mubadara reflects our commitment to developing young talent and fostering innovation,' said Rashid Al Hajri, Vice President and Manager of Public and Government Affairs for ExxonMobil Qatar. 'We are proud of every student who participated in this year's competition and look forward to their future impact.' Another highlight was Boeing's continued strategic partnership, which began in 2013. Wael Zaoud, Boeing's Managing Director in Qatar, awarded the Best Company prize for university students to the Tamayaz team from Qatar University, who created an online platform offering affordable, high-quality recorded lessons. Kuljit Ghata-Aura, President of Boeing Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, and Central Asia, remarked: 'Empowering the local workforce with essential skills that foster innovation and growth is at the core of Qatar National Vision 2030. Through our partnership with INJAZ Qatar, we have helped thousands of young individuals turn their innovative ideas into reality.' Award winners: • Best Company of the Year – Sponsored by ExxonMobil Qatar, awarded to Tamayaz from Qatar University, and My Eye from Ibn Taymeya Secondary School for Boys. • Highest Social Impact Award – Awarded to Be My Sense from University of Doha for Science and Technology, and Enjoy Education from Al Shamal Preparatory Secondary School for Girls. • Most Innovative Product/Service Award – Awarded to Ask Sanad from Qatar University, and Student Connect from American School of Doha. • Best Marketing Plan Award – Sponsored by FRAME, awarded to Musamima from Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, Droplet from American School of Doha, and FLYT from King's College Doha. • People's Choice Award – Sponsored by Seib Insurance, awarded to Carboxyl from Belgravia High School.
