Kindhearted Woman Risks Severe Weather To Rescue Lost Barn Kitten Climbing a Fence During Flood

Pet parents would go to great lengths to make their animals happy, but we would also stop at nothing to ensure their safety. Whether that means buying the top-quality food or protecting them from a charging bear, nothing is impossible!
One selfless animal lover called @theehannahstephens didn't hesitate to hop into action when she noticed one of her barn kittens clinging desperately to a fence. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem, but a torrential downpour and minor flooding turned this into a life-or-death situation.
Hannah raced to the rescue as fast as she possibly could as the kitten held on for dear life. As she showed in a June 23 TikTok video, however, everyone was breathing a sigh of relief by the end of the rescue.
Hercules the orange kitten is such a cute adventurer! It's easy to see why this confident cat got caught in the heavy storm when he's so eager to explore. Normally, Hercules is the hero of the story, but this time, it's Hannah who comes to his rescue!
One commenter said what everyone was thinking when they wrote, "all I could hear in my head was 'help is on the way, dear.'" Mrs. Doubtfire, anyone?Another comment had me smiling from ear to ear: "Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear towels." That couldn't be more true!
Even though Hannah had to run in the rain with a beach towel over her head, any animal lover would do it again and again for the sake of a furry friend. I know I would! There was no shortage of help on the farm, but Hannah also happened to be in the right place at the right time to spot the kitten in distress.
Now that he's warm and dry, Hercules could get back to his family!
What an adorable family! This orange kitten looks so much like his mama cat, but all kitten siblings look like they're wearing socks. Those little booties must get so dirty when they're playing around the farm!
Luckily, these barn kitties are no strangers to a little dirt and dust. They help around the farm with tasks like catching mice and brightening people's days, so helping keep them safe from flash flooding is the least their humans can do.
Great job, Hannah!
