German media sources are claiming that the Bundesliga 2 outfit will take Nawrocki on loan for the 2025/26 season and have an option to buy should the Pole's spell in Lower Saxony be a success. He has fallen behind Cameron Carter-Vickers, Auston Trusty and Liam Scales in the pecking order and appears to have a limited future in Glasgow. Maik Nawrocki seals Celtic exit as loan details confirmed
It had been reported this week Nawrocki was on the verge of making the move and was due to have a medical, and it has now been confirmed. Remarkably, the Polish centre-back becomes the German sides 14th summer signing. The 24-year-old never seemed to convince Brendan Rodgers and has played just 18 times for the Hoops across his two seasons, scoring one goal. Five of those appearances came last season. As Hannover confirmed the singing, managing director Marcus Mann: "Maik is a central defender whose game is characterised by great clarity and composure. "He anticipates very well, reads the game, and performs his defensive duties through good heading and high tackling skills. Read more: "After winning the ball, he carries out his play very cleanly and possesses the necessary technical skills to directly initiate the transition play and position the players in front of him through shifts or passes into the gaps." Nawrocki added: "I'm incredibly happy to be here and now part of the team. I think we have an exciting journey ahead of us with many new players and a new coach. We want to attack the coming season with renewed energy. Now it's time for me to quickly settle into training, the team, and the club." Kuhn to Como 'great business' for Celtic
Brendan Rodgers has confirmed Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn is poised to join Serie A side Como, with the manager calling it "great business all round".The 25-year-old, capped by Germany up to under-20 level, joined the Scottish champions from Rapid Vienna in January last made 41 starts and 10 substitute appearances for Celtic last season, scoring 21 goals."We've virtually agreed between the club and Como so it looks at this point that he'll be on his way, but we just have to wait for confirmation," said Rodgers after a 1-0 friendly win over Queen's paid a fee in the region of £3m for Kuhn, with reports suggesting Como will pay more than five times that amount."I think it's very clear, the model of Celtic," added Rodgers. "In the 18 months he's done absolutely fantastic for us. He was aware of interest towards the end of last season and that sort of followed through."Other teams have joined in that interest over the summer and that's why a lot of the young players come. It's a wonderful, brilliant club to come to develop and improve."If he does end up going and signing for Como, then it's great business all round."
