'I plan to expand my business to manufacturing food products using beef, like burgers, minced meat and meatballs.' Jamal also said that he has started rearing goats and ornamental fish at his farms which he said had great potential to meet market demand. His plan is to sell his products in Teluk Intan, Perak, as it is his hometown. He also spoke of his fondness for giant freshwater prawns from Sungai Perak. 'The taste is different,' he said. > For four-year-old Nur Aisya Khadeeja, her world has been one of silence. Her father, Muhamad Razmein Abdullah, first noticed his only child was non-verbal about two years ago. 'We noticed she was unable to speak and was unresponsive to sounds,' he told Harian Metro. Muhamad Razmein, 30, was distraught when medical tests revealed narrowed auditory nerves in both of Nur Aisya's ears, severely impacting her hearing. Even with hearing aids, her condition barely improved. 'Doctors have recommended cochlear implant surgery, but we can't afford it due to the high cost which can go up to RM115,000,' said Muhamad Razmein, a delivery rider. His wife Haslinda Mohd Zamidi, 35, works as an administrative officer. The family, who live in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, has only managed to save about RM5,000 for the surgery, which is scheduled for July 17. Making music while learning music

MUSIC student Ameer Asyraf Nor Azmi from Negri Sembilan, earns his own pocket money by playing the violin to cover his expenses, Harian Metro reported. The youngest of five siblings said that he continued the idea of earning pocket money because he had no problem dividing his time well, especially when accepting invitations to perform. 'I come from a poor family, so I was taught from a young age to work on my own if I wanted something. 'I have been earning money since I was in school by working part-time as a catering crew, an assistant at a Middle Eastern restaurant and a convenience store. 'So, when I continued my diploma studies and could play the violin, I used this talent to 'make a living' as a musician even though I am still an amateur,' said Ameer Asyraf, 22, who plans to become a teacher after graduating. > Actress Nadiya Nisaa has worked with directors who were not on the same 'frequency' with her, causing the filming to be tedious, Berita Harian reported. 'I have experience working with directors who have different 'frequency'. This is very difficult. I feel like going back while filming because I felt there was no point in continuing. 'I want to have fun while working. So, when I don't have fun, I feel useless, stupid and not convincing as an actor. 'I thought my performance was not satisfying enough. #SHOWBIZ: AC Mizal: 4U2C appoints responsible party, follows proper channels

KUALA LUMPUR: Nineties hip-hop group, 4U2C, has appointed an authorised party and followed the correct channels to ensure no copyright issues arise regarding the songs to be performed at the WE 4U2C Live in Concert event on Sept 15. This was confirmed by group leader, Datuk AC Mizal, when asked to comment on the statement by composer and full copyright holder of 4U2C's songs, Man Senoi, and his wife, Mama Rap. In their statement, Man Senoi and Mama Rap claimed they had not been contacted by any party regarding the concert's organisation. "I don't want to comment on the matter because I haven't had any contact with them for a long time," AC Mizal told Harian Metro. "My focus right now is solely on this concert. All other matters will be handled by the responsible parties." Without revealing who would be handling the issue, AC Mizal said that 4U2C would also perform three new songs, which he believed would not pose any problems. "We have many songs to perform, including three new ones, and so forth," he said. "So, for me, there's no problem as everything is being managed well by the relevant parties." 4U2C, comprising AC Mizal along with Azam, Aren, Yanz, Rinz, Lanz, and Charlie, is currently undergoing intensive training sessions to refine their performances. "We've already started training sessions," he said. "The training is quite rigorous, involving dancing and singing, and focuses a lot on the overall performance aspect." The WE 4U2C Live in Concert, with a 1990s theme, will feature more than 20 popular 4U2C songs and will take place at the Idea Live Arena in Petaling Jaya. Earlier, Man Senoi and Mama Rap informed Harian Metro that they held the full copyright to 4U2C's songs but were not informed about the concert's organisation. The two also shared details about 4U2C's beginnings, which they founded, and the struggles they faced to ensure the group could establish itself in the country's music industry.

#SHOWBIZ: KRU rules out AI revival for virtual pop group Tyco

KUALA LUMPUR: While artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly trending in music video production, popular hip-hop and pop trio KRU has no plans to revive their 2000 pet project, Tyco. KRU, made up of brothers Datuk Norman, Datuk Yusry, and Edry Abdul Halim, created Tyco as 3D virtual pop stars. These science-fiction likenesses of themselves were named Tylo, Yiko, and Psylo respectively. In a Harian Metro news report yesterday, Norman said that Tyco, which performed several songs including 'Saat Ku Pejamkan Mata', 'Sandiwara', 'With You', and 'Never Trust A Man Again', would not be brought back due to the brothers' time constraints. "Tyco was a pop group with a difference back then, and it was Yusry's idea," he explained. "While they did gain a good following, I'm afraid that the three of us don't have much time to bring back the trio. Furthermore, recreating animated characters isn't an easy task." He added that Edry is also currently based in the United Kingdom. Last May, KRU made a successful comeback with Konsert GenKRU at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil. The concert, which marked their 33rd anniversary as a group, ran for four nights and was hugely popular with fans.
