EXCLUSIVE Jane Seymour, 74, shares a simple diet hack to stay a size four that is so easy anyone can do it

Movie star Jane Seymour is still as slim as she was in her twenties: the star is a size four. And she told she has managed to stay that small size even though she is in her seventies because of a simple rule. The beauty - who will film Harry Wild's fifth season in Ireland later this summer - eats only one main meal a day, she has told The 74-year-old star does not diet, but she also doesn't eat three meals a day. Seymour has only one big meal a day at around 1:30 pm. 'I start the day with coffee and hard boiled eggs for protein, and it isn't till later, around lunch time, that I have a full meal because then I can really enjoy it. 'I love fish and vegetables, and grow many greens in my back yard which I love to use,' the Body Firm Youthful Essence Antioxidant Wellness-Beauty Blend spokesperson said. This comes just as the Jane The Virgin actress shared a new swimsuit photo where she looks to be in top shape. The Dancing With The Stars veteran stressed the importance of eating fresh foods. 'I love the Mediterranean way of eating, it works so well and it tastes good, it includes a lot of delicious food like tomatoes, olives and fish,' she noted. The Live And Let Die actress does not follow a strict diet and she stays away from drugs like Ozempic to stay thin. 'People ask me if I have a cheat day with my diet and I respond that I am never on a diet, I just make good choices and stick with them,' said the cover girl. 'If you think you are on a diet, you will lose track, you will cheat,' Jane told 'But if you find healthy foods you really love, that make you feel good, you never feel shorted.' Later in the day the Playboy model loves to snack on nuts like pistachios, cold veggies like cucumbers and celery, and hummus. 'I do love nuts,' she said. 'I am a savory person, I like the salt.' She also stays active by lifting light weights and doing Pilates. 'You have to keep moving!' she added. The Body Firm Youthful Essence Antioxidant Wellness-Beauty Blend is a new product that Jane is promoting. 'Packed with extracts from 24 fruits and vegetables, this tasty antioxidant elixir helps close the nutritional gap and fight signs of skin aging with the brand's signature TruPhyto Complex,' the company shared. 'It improves skin moisturization, elasticity, and radiance for a more youthful-looking, glowing complexion.' Jane is also happy that she has Youthful Essence in her life because instead of taking 'a ton of supplements' she just used the powder which contains greens and collagen to make her skin glow. 'I take Youthful Essence in the morning and it makes me feel good. It is a one and done for me and I appreciate it because I don't have to hassle with getting all the ingredients together.' And she also uses Crepe Erase daily on her skin to make it glow. She told that 'exfoliating first then adding the cream' is vital. When asked about her love life - she is dating musician John Zambetti - Jane said she is thriving because she has an 'open heart.' 'You have to be open to receiving love and being happy,' she said. 'Being over 50 does not mean your life ends, it means you are on a new journey, you are finding new things to do. It can be very fun to start new hobbies, new relationships. 'It is really a time to thrive because a lot of the hard stuff is behind you.' She also said living a fulfilling life is all about trying new things. Not only is she on the TV show Harry Wild, but she paints, has a scarf line, and makes jewelry. The siren from England also walked her first runway during New York fashion Week which she said was 'a very new experience for me but tons of fun - I never thought I would model because I am not tall.' The Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman star used Crepe Erase Advanced Body Repair Treatment. The Advanced Body Repair Treatment is a fast-absorbing formula that features the TruFirm Complex and a mix of moisturizers to help boost skin's elasticity, targeting fine lines and wrinkles in the process. This formula takes care of crepe skin. This treatment is specially designed to give you more hydrated, youthful-looking skin. This cream features a special formula that includes peptides and a mix of moisturizers to help boost elasticity in your skin. 'Nobody thinks of the skin beneath their neck,' she said. 'They're so obsessed with getting rid of a wrinkle or a line on their face that they forget the dead giveaway to age is basically your neck, your décolletage, your arms … the dry skin on your shins and your feet.'

Jane Seymour says family values are key to her 'special chemistry' with former 'Dr. Quinn' co-star Joe Lando

For Jane Seymour, it's easy to remain incredibly close to her on-screen love nearly 30 years after their hit show came to an end. "The same way I say I love [my 'Harry Wild' sidekick] Rohan Nedd, I love Joe Lando," the actress told Fox News Digital. "We get each other. We are very different people. We couldn't possibly be married… Not a hope. And his wife is fabulous, she's a really good friend of mine – his whole family is." "I'm always looking to see what is there that we can do together, as does he," the 74-year-old shared. "We have a special chemistry when we work together. We know one another so well, and we know one another's rhythms so well. There's a comfort zone that comes from acting with him or doing anything with him… There's a real bada bing, bada boom that goes on with us that I think is unique." Seymour and Lando played an on-screen couple on "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" from 1993 to 1998. Most recently, they starred in the 2022 holiday movie, "A Christmas Spark." These days, Seymour has been keeping busy with her detective series, "Harry Wild," which was just renewed for season 5. She's also the host of "Relative Secrets," where she helps everyday Americans uncover shocking and even dark revelations about their family histories. Still, Seymour said she's always eager to share the screen with Lando, 63, again. The actor also makes occasional appearances on her Instagram. The secret behind their lasting friendship? It's a no-brainer, Seymour insisted. "Joe and I have both prioritized our families and our kids [in this business]," she explained. "Our kids grew up together. Our families are very much entwined. So much so that when the Palisades Fire [in California] happened, he and his family lost everything. Six of them, with two German shepherds and two budgerigars, landed at my house. They were devastated. They had nothing but the clothes on their backs. And we all lived together for five weeks. If we were ever bonded before, we are deeply bonded now." Lando didn't think twice to thank his friend in a special way. "[Joe] kind of took on the characteristics of Sully in 'Dr. Quinn' – he couldn't just accept that I would give him a roof, food, safety, that and the other," Seymour chuckled. "He just had to give back. He started wandering around my house saying, 'Hey, this needs fixing,' or 'That needs fixing, I know how to do this.' I went away for a week and when I came back, he completely weatherproofed my house." "He got obsessed with, '[You] have too many valuable things, it could've burnt down, you've got to do something about this,'" she continued. "Sully just came into play. It was very humorous and sweet." "We should probably do a talk show!" she exclaimed. Occasionally, fans might spot Seymour demonstrating one of her go-to workout routines on social media. When it was suggested that she and Lando should do a fitness routine together, she replied, "We might!" "Look, the biggest mistake is when people suddenly go, 'Oh my God, I need to lose a hundred pounds right now,'" she said. "No, you don't. You can start a healthy regimen by walking around the block. Then you walk around the block twice. Instead of taking the car or bus, you walk to your destination and back. I like to put on an audible book or my favorite music and just walk for half an hour in one direction, and do it again, coming back. Even taking some stairs is a good thing to do." "Your body is your car," she continued. "It's going to take you around in life. You've got to make sure that the feet work, the heart works and the lungs work – that you're mobile… I just hope I encourage people to listen to their bodies and respect what they can and cannot do… I think it's so important to get your steps in, stretch and do some light weights." When Seymour is not reconnecting with Lando, she's happily gardening, which she's encouraged Lando to do with her, or painting with her grandchildren. Even golfing is "meditative," she said. She's also keeping busy with "Harry Wild" and "Relative Secrets." "Like 'Dr. Quinn,' 'Harry Wild' is shown all over the world," said Seymour. "What I've heard is that [audiences] look at me and go, 'OK, she hasn't gone and done all the plastic things or Botox. She's real, and this character has just reinvented herself.' "[My character] was a professor of literature, quit after 30 years, and then she randomly found herself solving crimes with her knowledge of history. She's older, and her sidekick is from the other side of Dublin, who comes from a very dysfunctional life. She's teaching him to be a man and to be literate while they're fighting crimes. But she needs him as much as he needs her." "I think it shows people you can do whatever you want just for fun or just out of curiosity," she shared. "You can always reinvent yourself… And I think that's what I do every day." For Seymour, life is "a blessing," and she's grateful for the close-knit friendships she's developed along the way. "I am respectful of this extraordinary gift that is called life," she said. "Every moment is precious. You only take two things with you when you pass – the love you've shared in your life and the difference you've made in others. And if you feel good about yourself, then the chances of being able to have good, lasting relationships are so much higher. You become part of a community. And community is so important, no matter who you are."

Jane Seymour maintains the same size since age 17 without crazy diets

Jane Seymour has stayed in shape for decades without fad diets or marathon workout routines. "I am now the size I was when I was 17 and a ballet dancer," the 74-year-old actress told Fox News Digital. "I try to stay around the same weight, but without going crazy about it. I have gotten bigger [over the years], but I never gained more than 10 pounds. I was smaller when I was in [1988's] 'War and Remembrance' and when I was playing Wallis Simpson where I had to be crazy thin, which is not a healthy weight for me. It makes my immune system weak." Even during moments of celebration, Seymour is mindful of her healthy habits. Earlier in June, it was announced that her detective show, "Harry Wild," has been renewed for season 5 on Acorn TV. She's also the host of "Relative Secrets," a series that premiered earlier this month about uncovering family secrets and dark mysteries. "I almost always never have breakfast," the "Dr. Quinn" alum explained about her diet. "I will have liquids and my vitamins. I've got this vitamin combination that has collagen. I'll have that in the morning and either black tea, coffee or water. And then at lunchtime, I'll have a fabulous meal, whatever I want pretty much. I tend to like salmon, shrimp and grilled vegetables. And I love Italian food. I might have a little eggplant Parmesan; it's a favorite of mine. Maybe some lean chicken." The star said that the one thing she "almost never" eats is steak, but she does make exceptions. "Once in a while, I'll have a little bit of filet steak, maybe a couple of slices. I'm not against it. But I feel better usually when eating fish and lots of vegetables. I grow a lot of my food in my garden, a lot of it in pots actually… it keeps the bugs out. I have lettuce, arugula, artichokes, avocados, blueberries and strawberries. Also, lots of different types of kale. I love eating fresh vegetables. When I grill my vegetables, I add a little bit of olive oil and sometimes a sprinkle of salt." Like anyone else, Seymour has her guilty pleasures. She loves anything that's "crunchy and salty." To satisfy her cravings, she'll eat "a crispy sweet potato." WATCH: MALIBU FIRES DROVE JANE SEYMOUR OUT OF HER HOME WITH BARELY MORE THAN THE CLOTHES ON HER BACK "I feel like I'm eating a bag of chips, but it's actually sweet potato," said Seymour. "I also like to take raw pumpkin seeds, put a little bit of Tamari Lite [gluten-free soy sauce that has less sodium], put them in a non-stick pan and toast them. I like to toss them around in the pan until they swell and pop. Pistachio nuts are also a favorite go-to snack. So mostly, I make sure to eat my nutrients and vitamins in my food if I can." The former Bond girl also noted that it's important for her to stay active daily. However, she listens to her body about what it needs each day. "I work with a lady… it's almost like physiotherapy, but it's a workout. I do Gyrotonics and some Pilates – a lot of floor work, believe it or not, even though I'm on a bench. But everything I do, anyone else can do at home, in a hotel room, their living room, their garden – anywhere where you can put a yoga mat down. I do Pilates legwork, which is like doing some of my ballet. I can use my own weight or a ballet bar." "I'm also a believer in light weights," she shared. "I'll have an eight-pound or a five-pound weight in each hand. I'll do arm work while I'm doing my legs. And the beauty of Pilates, Gyrotonics or even ballet is that it's all about being able to do it properly. It's not something where you rush in and jump around and can easily get injured." "I'm very careful about doing the right technique," she said. "If I can't do too much, if I can't stretch too much that day, that's fine. I just do as much as my body is comfortable doing because I don't want to injure myself. I had back surgery a long time ago. That's a nemesis for me. So I listen to my body." Seymour said she likes workouts that can be done anywhere, rather than heading to the gym. Pilates, in particular, has been essential to her for maintaining a strong core. "If you have core strength, you are less likely to have back injuries or back problems," she said. "You are also more likely to look better up close. You'll be able to stand more properly… The core is everything. And looking back at my ballet training, that was all about the core." In between filming "Harry Wild," it's not shocking to spot Seymour doing plies or stretching. "Small movements make a huge difference," she said. "Also, the muscle at the front of the leg is incredibly important to stretch out very carefully, especially if you run, walk a lot, or you're climbing. That muscle tightens up, and it directly affects your lower back." In 1995, Seymour was tempted to get a tummy tuck after welcoming twin boys. However, the idea of going under the knife made her pause. "I just thought, 'No, that's major surgery,'" she recalled. "I thought, let's try doing what I used to do, my workout routines. I'll see if I can get my muscles toned. I'm not trying to look like a 20-year-old. I'm just trying to be the most mobile that I can be for my age and what my body's capable of." According to Seymour, it's never too late to try a workout routine that suits your lifestyle. "I've never been able to do the split, so I'm not going to start now," she chuckled. "I almost did it on 'Dancing With the Stars,' and that was pretty amazing. But for me, it's all about building and maintaining a good, strong core. A lot of younger people are on computers and cell phones. And I think everyone sits and hunches. That's a big issue because it can affect your neck, shoulders, mid-back and spine. So stretching each day and having a straight spine is huge." The actress said she's grateful to get up and move each day. "I think a lot of women suffer from being invisible," she said. "You were married, you had the job, and you had kids. But now, who am I? What's my purpose? Where do I belong in this world? But… you can be a full-blooded human being at any age… It's a choice you make for yourself."
