Priyanka Chopra: ‘My Mom Made Sure I Didn't Wash My Hands After Meeting Bruce Springsteen'

In a throwback interview, Priyanka revealed amusing stories about her mom's excitement whenever she met celebrities, especially Bruce Springsteen, David Hasselhoff, and rapper 50 Cent.
Reflecting on her early acting days, Priyanka recalled how her mother couldn't contain her excitement around veteran actor Kabir Bedi. 'She met him and was completely freaking out. I was like, 'Mommy, he's my co-actor. We have to be professional now,'" she was quoted as saying by Indian
One of the most unforgettable moments came during a Bruce Springsteen concert, when Priyanka was briefly pursuing a music career. 'I met Bruce Springsteen. My mom made sure I didn't wash my hands after dinner until I shook her hand. She was like, 'You have to shake my hand too!'" Priyanka laughed.
Then there was David Hasselhoff. 'He very sweetly brought her a T-shirt that says 'Hassel the Hoff.' She still wears it at night," Priyanka shared.
But the ultimate fangirl moment came at a 50 Cent concert in Mumbai. 'She loves 50! He was performing and we were right in front. At some point, he takes off his sweaty skull cap and throws it in my direction… and my mom caught it. She kept it. It's still in her closet."
Despite being one of the most recognised Indian faces globally, Priyanka admits her mother remains unfazed by her own fame, often more excited about Hollywood and music stars.
