Lady Gaga-inspired Hawker Mayhem offers vouchers up to $50, limited-edition bites & aesthetic photo spots
Paging all Little Monsters! Even if you couldn't grab tickets to Lady Gaga's Singapore concert for The Mayhem Ball world tour, you can still join the fun. While Mother Monster will only be here from 18 to 24 May, Hawker Mayhem at will run till 31 May. Located in the heritage hawker and popular tourist destination, Hawker Mayhem features attractions like Lady Gaga-themed bites, photo spots and even prizes. It's a great opportunity for fans to celebrate her presence at the only Asian stop in her world tour without attending the concert. One of the main highlights of Hawker Mayhem would be its photo spots. At Lau Pa Sat's Robinson Entrance, you'll be greeted by a stunning light installation tunnel with psychedelic, multi-hued LED lights that make you feel like a star. Bring a friend, strike a pose, snap away like you're each others' Paparazzi and live your aesthetic music video dreams! A 2.4-metre sculpture of Lady Gaga's signature hand sign, the Monster Paw, is the second photo point. Its sharp red nails and shiny holographic surface are made completely of cardboard and 100% recyclable. There's no denying that Singaporeans are kiasu – we're just Born This Way. For a chance to win up to S$50 worth of Kopitiam vouchers, share your photos on Instagram or Facebook. Tag @ with #HawkerMayhem, and you might be the lucky winner. You can use the vouchers at any stall in the hawker centre. Do bear in mind that change will not be given if the bill falls under the value of the voucher used for payment. What better experience than to hear Lady Gaga's songs like Bad Romance, Die With A Smile, and Telephone live while you dine? A live band will be performing on 24 May from 7.30pm to 9.30pm so don't miss it! Besides the hawker food, indulge in limited-edition Gaga-themed treats during Hawker Mayhem. For instance, Kopi Kiosk offers Sour Candy Drinks, (S$2.40 for Iced, S$1.90 for Hot) or Tea (S$2.50 for Iced, S$2 for Hot) inspired by her collaboration song with Blackpink. Butter & Cream, specialising in gorgeous doughnut-muffin hybrid desserts and other baked treats, offers two limited edition flavours based on 2 hit songs. The Poker Face Doffin (S$3.60) is filled with a creamy custard, while the Just Dance Berries Doffin (S$3.80) is chocolatey with a tart raspberry centre. Beloved min jiang kueh brand Munchi Pancakes offers Little Monsters pancakes (S$6 for a box of 6). The mini pink pancakes are served with 2 mystery filling flavours; we got red bean and chocolate. If food isn't enough, head to Food Folks for limited-edition Lady Gaga-inspired merchandise. Get your hands on and glam up with face gems and temporary tattoos, or grab some sour candy for your time at Hawker Mayhem (or in concert queues). For the best end to your dining and shopping session, spend a minimum of S$10 and keep your receipts. Redeem a Promo Code (limited to 150 redemptions per day, so be quick!) at the Food Folks counter, and Abracadabra! You get to access the Photo Booth and capture the memories with your friends for free! What's unique about this booth is the pretty Gaga-themed photo borders available for your printed photocards!
