Alyssa Farah Griffin Says She Accidentally 'Flashed' Jude Law And Then Made It Worse
'The View' host Alyssa Farah Griffin revealed Thursday that she gave actor Jude Law an unintended view of herself. (Watch the video below.) The panelists had been discussing singer LeAnn Rimes' teeth falling out during a recent concert when Griffin chimed in with her own embarrassing moment. 'This isn't quite the same, but I accidentally flashed my underwear to Jude Law backstage once,' she said of the 'Fantastic Beasts' star. 'My mic pack fell down my dress so, at commercial, I run back and usually it's either Rachel or Shauna, our female audio techs. It was Rachel. I flashed my skirt up so she could help me move it, and Jude Law's just standing there.' 'And then, in my embarrassment, he just said nothing and I go, 'I'm sorry, sir!'' Griffin continued. 'Like, I made it worse by calling him sir! And then I maybe curtsied. It was brutal.' Check it out at 1:45: Law last visited the talk show in November, but it was unclear when the incident happened. Actor Hayley Atwell recently recounted how she, too, overcompensated in a cringe moment with another star, Tom Cruise. Several people from 'Mission: Impossible ― The Final Reckoning' watched a movie together at Cruise's house. Cruise also invited Atwell's French bulldogs, who sat on Cruise's lap and farted incessantly. The stench filled up the room. Atwell told 'The Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon she was so embarrassed she felt compelled to say something. 'So there was a lull in the film, and I just turned to him at one point and I went, 'Sorry for all the tootin'' (in an exaggerated Western movie delivery). When Cruise muttered something barely intelligible back, Atwell said she thought, 'That's more awkward than the farting.' Chris Evans Says Not Being Cast in AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY Feels Like "You Weren't Invited to the Party" — GeekTyrant
Marvel actor Chris Evans was last seen in the role of Captain America in Avengers: Endgame , when Steve Rogers decided to go back in time to live a lifetime with his true love, Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). While he has appeared in the MCU since then, it was only to reprise his role of a multiversal Johnny Storm in Deadpool & Wolverine , but that brought up the idea that if we are dealing with a multiverse, couldn't we see Evans return to play another version of Steve Rogers? So far, it doesn't look like that will happen, as his name has not been announced in the cast list of Avengers: Doomsday , and the actor has shut down his rumored return plenty of times. When asked in a recent interview with ScreenRant about Doomsday, and if he's been in touch with the Russos and his returning Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jr., Evans said: 'Yeah, I talk to them all the time. I mean, it's sad to be away. It's sad to not be back with the band, but I'm sure they're doing something incredible, and I'm sure it's going to be that much harder when it comes out and you feel like you weren't invited to the party.' Either Evans is truly sad about missing out, or he will have a cameo, and he's just a great actor who will sell us to the very end on the idea that he won't be in the movie. Either way, we will just have to wait and see. And if he doesn't make it back for Doomsday, maybe we can hold out hope for Avengers: Secret Wars ? Avengers: Doomsday hits theaters on December 18, 2026.

‘Working with Tom is Incredible'
Actor Hayley Atwell has surprised her fans with a behind-the-scenes revelation about her time on Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. The 43-year-old actor revealed on The Tonight Show that she was eight and a half months pregnant while filming an intense action sequence for the film. Despite the challenges, she insisted on performing the stunts herself. The actor, who became globally popular for her role as Peggy Carter in multiple Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, joined the MI franchise with its seventh instalment Dead Reckoning. How has your character changed from when we last saw her? Grace is a rather mischievous and fun character who makes mistakes but who can certainly hold her own with Ethan Hunt. She's still all that, but she has progressed. In the last film, she was really having to learn how to trust Ethan and to be part of a team. She now understands the cost of belonging to a group of people is the fear of losing them. So the emotional stakes for her are a lot higher in this one. She is still learning; she's still inexperienced, but she now also has this fear of something happening to the people she cares about.

What Is Most Expensive Film Since 2015? Not Tom Cruise's ‘Mission'
Greg Tarzan Davis, Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Hayley Atwell in :Mission: Impossible - The Final ... More Reckoning." The reported $400 million production budget of Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is spendy, but surprisingly it's not the most expense film to be produced over the past 10 years. The Final Reckoning, which opened in theaters on May 23, saw its production budget balloon to $400 million over a variety of factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic, reshoots and the SAG-AFRTA and WGA strikes against the studios, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Amazingly, the film could have cost more if not for the 'tens of millions of dollars in tax incentives and rebates from the various countries' that was subtracted from production's cost, THR added. As massive as The Final Reckoning's production budget is, THR cited a pair of other films in the past 10 years that cost more to produce than Cruise's latest — and possibly last — film as Ethan Hunt. LONDON, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 16: Stormtroopers arrive for the European Premiere of "Star Wars: The ... More Force Awakens" at Leicester Square on December 16, 2015 in London, England. (Photo by) While Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning saw its costs skyrocket because of COVID-19 and the shutdowns caused by the industry strikes, THR noted that there are two other installments from major film franchises had even bigger production budgets. Interestingly, both of the films were released before the first nightmare throttled the entertainment industry in 2020. Among the most expensive films since 2015 was 2018's Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which THR said had a $432 million production budget before marketing costs. Lucky for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, while the film cost a lot of money to make, it also made a lot of money at the box office. According to box office tracker The Numbers, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom earned nearly $418 million in North American theaters and $890 million internationally for a worldwide gross of $1.3 billion. While Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom had a massive production cost, THR reported that 2015's Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens had an even bigger production budget of $447 million. Once again, though, the film earned enough at the box office to justify its cost. Per The Numbers, The Force Awakens earned $936.66 million domestically (making it the highest-grossing film domestically of all time, before inflation) and $1.119 billon for a worldwide box office gross of $2.056 billion. It's worthy to note that The Numbers reported that the production budget for The Force Awakens was $533.2 million, a number considerably higher than THR's report on the Star Wars sequel's budget. The Numbers isn't the only outlet to report the $533.2 million figure — Forbes senior contributor Caroline Reid also cited the number in her detailed breakdown of the The Force Awakens production budget in February of 2023. While the final domestic, international and ultimately worldwide gross of Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is yet to be determined, at least the film is off to a good start at the box office with $363 million in worldwide ticket sales since its opening on May 23 — an amount, of course, that will be split with theater owners. On top of that, there's one other budget The Final Reckoning needs to recoup — the film's marketing costs. THR, however, did not disclose what that number could be.

Hayley Atwell May Not Be Returning as Peggy Carter in AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY After All — GeekTyrant
While it was previously reported by the trades that Hayley Atwell would be returning as Peggy Carter in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars , the Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning star is pushing back on the idea. In a recent interview with Collider, Atwell straight-up denied the news… or at least acted like she'd never heard of it. 'Really? Who… on Reddit? Who's doing that? Who's saying that?' she said, when asked about her reported return. Now, this could be Marvel's usual cloak-and-dagger approach to casting, after all, it wouldn't be the first time actors have dodged direct questions about their MCU involvement. And let's not forget, Marvel Studios reportedly gave actors strict instructions to keep quiet if their name wasn't part of the official Doomsday announcement. So is Atwell just playing along with Marvel's spoiler lockdown, or is this genuinely news to her? It's hard to believe that this is the first time she's heard this since news of her casting initially dropped six months ago. To complicate things further, she's recently been vocal about how much potential Peggy Carter, previously saying: "There are so many things that she could do, there's so much more I feel I can bring to a character because I've developed as time's gone on. 'What's so great about having time behind you and having had a 20-year career so far is the development of skill, and I think there's so much more that Peggy can do. She's very much an underserved character." "When she says 'I know my value and everyone else's opinion doesn't really matter,' it's because she hasn't been given the platform that she knows she deserves and that she's really capable of doing in the world. 'And so I just think there is just so much more that she can do, and I think she speaks to a modern time, so to be able to take her to that next level as Captain Carter would be phenomenal. Especially with all my Mission: Impossible training. I am ready, let's go!" So, let's break this down… Atwell says she's not involved, but she's also talking about how ready she is. And she's publicly enthusiastic about evolving Peggy Carter, especially in her Captain Carter form. Not to mention, the multiverse is open. Could this all be part of Marvel's calculated misdirection? Possibly. Chris Evans has also played coy about a potential return, and we've seen how that plays out before (ahem Andrew Garfield, anyone?). Seriously, though, it's hard to imagine Marvel skipping the opportunity to bring Peggy Carter back for something as massive as Doomsday For now, we'll have to wait and see.
