Comedian Roasts Man Attending Show With ‘Just A Friend' In Crowd: ‘Coldplay Part 2?'

Last Updated: A kiss cam moment between Astronomer CEO Andy Bryon and HR head Kristin Cabot has sparked a wave of memes, videos and viral reactions online. There was a time when hearing 'Coldplay" meant thinking of magical concerts, full of lights, music and emotion. That still holds true (kind of). But lately, the word instantly brings up the viral kiss cam moment from the band's recent concert. The one that sparked rumours of an alleged affair between Astronomer CEO Andy Bryon and HR chief Kristin Cabot. Since then, the Internet has exploded with memes, videos and whatnot. Now, comedian Max Amini has joined the fun in his own way. He recently shared a video from his Mumbai show last year that features a hilarious interaction with an audience member. 'I have this one guy here, such a gentleman here with the glasses and the baseball cap, yeah? I feel like you were hiding. Why are you wearing sunglasses inside the auditorium?" Amini says as he points to a man in the crowd. The man replies, 'I forgot to switch out the glasses." To which Amini adds, 'I'm glad I talked to you because you couldn't even see me. Now, you're like – 'Oh s***! I am at Max Amini show.' He forgot." Amini pauses, grins and goes, 'All you of Indians – Player! Player! Everybody's out with their friends." Then, with a playful jab, he adds, 'Naman, very beautiful friend. Does his wife know you're hanging out?" while the audience bursts into laughter. Amini ends the conversation with, 'Well, he puts on the glasses, he thinks nobody sees." The video was shared with the caption, 'If only the Coldplay couple knew sunglasses could keep them undercover! This guy came prepared." Watch The Clip: As the video gained traction, the comments section was filled with references to the Coldplay moment. One user wrote, 'Coldplay Part 2." Another joked, 'Coldplayed – but he didn't duck and she didn't hide her face." 'Now every show is turning into Coldplay," someone said while a viewer added, 'Coldplay of standup comedy!" 'Max did it before Coldplay," a person said. An individual jokingly questioned, 'Why should Chris Martin of Coldplay have all the fun?" Max Amini is a globally touring stand-up comedian who has appeared on popular shows like NBC's Heroes, Netflix's Real Rob with Rob Schneider and Comedy Central's Mind of Mencia. view comments Location : Delhi, India, India First Published: July 28, 2025, 10:17 IST News viral Comedian Roasts Man Attending Show With 'Just A Friend' In Crowd: 'Coldplay Part 2?' ‘That cliffhanger was evil!' 7 amazing shows fans vow were cancelled too early

TV shows being cancelled left, right, and centre feels like an all-too regular occurrence nowadays. However, just because an exhilarating thriller or a world-bending sci-fi series might have been axed before it could have a satisfying ending, that doesn't mean we can't still appreciate them years later. Metro readers have shared their favourite shows that they feel should have had at least one more season – and their answers are bursting with passion. From a beloved Netflix zombie comedy to a BBC historical drama, these are programmes that not only were cherished by their audiences but have also stood the test of time. Of course, we at Metro also shared our favourite TV picks that ended way too early below, which we can't help but still be extremely sour about. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. If you want to join the discussion, you can do so on our Facebook page – otherwise, read on to discover the seven shows chosen by our readers that deserved better. When TV fans discuss shows that were ended abruptly but deserved to be on air for longer, Firefly is frequently mentioned. 'Firefly deserved 10 more seasons,' Metro reader Nazni Ali remarked. The space Western drama starring Nathan Fillion as Serenity captain Malcolm 'Mal' Reynolds originally premiered in 2002, and only aired for one season. Yet its legacy has lived on for over two decades. One fan called Lee Luntley said that while they'd 'love' to see more Firefly in future, 'if it doesn't capture the same magic as before then it's a bad move'. Firefly is available to stream on Disney Plus. The passion for Santa Clarita Diet cannot be overstated. Starring Timothy Olyphant and Drew Barrymore, the show follows a couple whose lives are turned upside down when it emerges that Sheila (Drew) is showing signs of becoming a zombie, and therefore develops a bloodthirsty appetite. The show – which has been described as 'brilliant', 'weird' and 'genius' in equal measure – abruptly ended after just three seasons, and fans are still bitter about it. 'At least Firefly got a film as an ending, Santa Clarita Diet deserves the same,' Metro reader Paul Ingra quipped, while Heather Louise McDonald added: 'Santa Clarita Diet deserves more than it got.' Santa Clarita Diet is available to stream on Netflix. 'Save the cheerleader, save the world.' Those six simple words captured audiences around the world when Heroes premiered almost 20 years ago, in 2006. The first season boasted an average of 14 million viewers, and it's still regarded as top-tier television. There have been attempts to revive Heroes following its initial 2010 cancellation. In 2015, a spin-off series called Heroes Reborn was released, and it's been claimed that another titled Heroes: Eclipsed is in development. Nonetheless, fans, including Jimi O'Doherty, wish there had been at least one more season of the original series. 'Wish they did volume 5 Brave New World,' they wrote. Heroes is available to buy on Prime Video. Metro's TV Editor Sabrina Barr shares the shows that she's personally gutted were axed before their time. Agent Carter It's been almost a decade, and I'm still heartbroken that Agent Carter was brushed to one side after just two seasons. As a Marvel superfan, Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) instantly became one of my favourite characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe when she made her debut in the 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger. Following the presumed death of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Peggy is heartbroken, but jumps into action – and that's where Agent Carter picks up. It was a brilliant continuation of her story, and it's gutting that it was cut short. Agent Carter is available to stream on Disney Plus. 1899 I still haven't had a chance to watch Netflix's thriller series Dark yet. However, I did manage to catch 1899, a drama made by the same creators, Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar, and it blew my mind to smithereens. At first, it seemed as though it was just going to be a chilling period drama set on an eerie ship. But there is so much more to it than that… and I'm wary of revealing too much for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. All I'll say is – if you enjoy a psychological thriller, period dramas, sci-fis, a brilliant ensemble cast where characters from different countries who might have never met cross paths, then you're in for a treat. 1899 is available to stream on Netflix. Glow I'm a sucker for stories set in the 80s, and I love a fantastic female-led ensemble cast. So the minute I saw a glimpse of Glow, I knew that it'd be right up my street. I'll profess – I didn't know much about wrestling beforehand, and I'm still nowhere near an expert. But learning about the 'Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling' gave me a stronger appreciation for the sport, and made me want to find out more. It's such a shame that Glow was cancelled due to Covid, and that it couldn't be resuscitated. I will continue to hold it hope that even six years later, it could have legs in the future. Glow is available to stream on Netflix. Shadow and Bone As a devout fantasy fan, Shadow and Bone mesmerised every ounce of me. I haven't read the books (they're on my To Be Read list), but I had every faith in the show, and I wasn't left disappointed. The disappointment did come, however, when Netflix confirmed that season two would be its last, despite ending on a huge cliffhanger. What's more, this meant that the previously announced spin-off Six of Crows was also no longer going forward. If you've ever stumbled upon a Netflix post on Instagram and wondered why so many people are urging the streaming site to save Shadow and Bone, give it a watch and discover for yourself. Shadow and Bone is available to stream on Netflix. The Last Kingdom is an exception on this list, as the story did conclude in a feature-length film titled The Last Kingdom: Seven Kings Must Die, which was released on Netflix in 2023. However, for some fans, that didn't suffice. 'Would have preferred another series rather than Seven Kings Must Die,' Metro reader Michael Webb quipped about the show. The historical drama originally premiered on BBC Two in 2015, before moving to Netflix for its final three seasons. The Last Kingdom is available to stream on Netflix. Lockwood and Co. had a lot of promise. So much so that one of the lead actors, Ruby Stokes, stepped away from her role on Bridgerton to commit to the project. Despite the acclaim it received from critics and fans alike, the supernatural detective series was cancelled after just one season. 'Netflix couldn't even explain their decision with any conviction 'It was one of our top-rated shows ever, but the decision was made to not greenlight season two and concentrate on making new quality content',' Kirsty Sparkman fumed while speculating over the thought process behind the decision.. Macy Macleod added that they've 'never forgiven' those who decided Lockwood and Co. would be axed. Lockwood and Co. is available to stream on Netflix. Pushing Daisies is another TV show that fans will often bring up as an example of a series that not only was cancelled too soon, but also deserves a comeback. Starring Lee Pace, Anna Friel and Kristin Chenoweth among the stacked cast, the comedy-drama is about a pie-maker called Ned (Lee) who has the ability to bring dead things back to life, and uses the unusual skill to solve murder cases. The ending of the show was altered when the creators knew that it was being cancelled, to try and provide fans with a satisfying ending. But several people admitted that they felt as though it was rushed. 'Pushing Daisies, that cliffhanger was evil!' Vicky Cosgrove wrote in frustration. Pushing Daisies is available to buy on Prime Video. There are a plethora of sci-fi shows to choose from when you're looking for a new programme to binge on streaming, but one that stands out among fans is Dark Matter. More Trending Not to be mixed up with the series of the same name that premiered on Apple TV Plus last year, the 2015 space-based drama Dark Matter lasted for three seasons. 'Dark Matter deserved season four on Syfy. Syfy cancelled it after three seasons, even though season three was the build-up for season four. Stupid,' a Metro reader going by the name SaveHolbycity David stated. Dee Lever-Johns listed Dark Matter among a list of other sci-fi and fantasy shows that have had premature ends, including Killjoys, Shadow and Bone, Warrior Nun and Lockwood and Co., adding: 'Yet they keep some total rubbish on TV.' View More » Dark Matter is available to stream on Apple TV Plus and Prime Video. Got a story? ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps' Review — Nothing Fantastic About This Dull MCU Snoozefest

Fantastic Four: First Steps So many pieces worked really well in Marvel's latest MCU film that it's almost a shame to give this one a thumbs' down, but here we are. The script, dearest readers. The script is to blame, as is so often the case. In Fantastic Four: First Steps, things happen and then other things happen and then there is a conflict that is quickly resolved with little to no ingenuity or effort on the part of the good guys and they win and the bad guys lose. The end. There is no real tension in this movie, either between the core characters or between our heroes and villains. Like Superman, which came out earlier this month and which had a similar vibe and plot structure, our heroes are beloved by the masses until they aren't and then, in the end, are beloved once again. Public opinion has an on/off switch that it abuses only slightly less than Superman. Spoilers follow, though I bet you could easily guess the plot of this movie just by watching the trailers. All Style, No Substance The best thing about First Steps is the aesthetic. It's far and away my favorite part of this film, and that's a problem because as much as I do enjoy a solid retrofuturistic aesthetic, it's not enough to make a mediocre movie worth watching. This is all style over substance. The film does a really good job at establishing Earth 828. It's the 1960s but everything is very Jetsons. That midcentury modern veneer makes everything pop. It's very pleasant. I want to live there with the red, rounded cabinets and the funky fridge and the weird science that's somehow managed flying cars before flat screen TVs. I dig it. It's very groovy. We're introduced to our heroes four years after their big space trip that resulted in super powers thanks to genetic modification. Like Superman (again) we don't get an origin story. Just some exposition to help us get into the story quickly. Like Superman, we quickly move past all the humdrum of daily life and into a conflict where the very world and survival of the human race is at stake. Like Superman, this drains the movie of all tension. End Of The World Conflicts Kill Suspense I am going to keep shouting this at Hollywood over and over again: If every superhero movie involves saving the world, pretty soon audiences tune out because it becomes so very, very obvious that the good guys will win and the world will be saved. The one time this didn't happen was Infinity War and that was awesome, but 99 times out of 100 making the stakes this high only has the opposite effect. Instead, superhero movies need smaller, more intimated stakes that present heroes with real tough choices. Think Logan, The Dark Knight, Superman: The Movie etc. In any case, we learn that Galactus is coming. The end is nigh. Of course, since this is the multiverse and a different version of Earth, we think maybe it will. But even if it does, the main version of Earth will be okay and since we saw the Fantastic Four showing up there in the post-credits scene of Thunderbolts, we know that whether or not Earth 828 survives, our heroes will. The Fantastic Four So Reed Richards /Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), his pregnant wife Sue Storm / Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm / Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm / Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) learn that Galactus is coming via the Herald / Silver Surfer / Shalla-Bal (Julia Garner) who comes to warn the people of Earth that their days are numbered and they should spend those days wisely. Galactus, you see, is a powerful celestial being who devours entire worlds as he wanders across the stars. He's one of the most powerful entities in the entire Marvel universe. It's going to be pretty tough for our heroes to stop such a powerful being from killing everyone and literally eating the planet . . . . No, actually, it's going to be super easy. Barely an inconvenience. Our heroes track down Galactus and we get some fun space sequences involving them trying to escape after he reveals that their baby is actually super powerful. He says he'll make a trade for the survival of Earth if they just hand the infant over. They say no and Silver Surfer chases them, but they Interstellar her directly into a black hole and then Back To The Future their ship back to Earth. All of this is fun. There are so many fun moments throughout this film. They just never congeal into something special. They get back and rather bizarrely tell the people of Earth about the trade Galactus offered them. Shockingly(!!) the billions of people about to die think this is kind of a selfish call on the Fantastic Four's part and their popularity dips in the polls. It's going to be pretty tough to get the people back on their side, right? No, actually, it's going to be super easy. Barely an inconvenience. Sue just gives a few hundred people in NYC a little speech about family and then everything's okay. Sue's real power is oratory. Or Earth 828's population is a bunch of suckers. In any case, Reed, who has learned how to teleport an egg, comes up with a plan to teleport the entire planet and everyone on it to a totally different star system. All they need to do is get the whole world to chip in and build a few hundred teleportation stations across the globe and then, before Galactus arrives, using all the power sources in the whole world at once, teleport everyone and everything to a random star system they've never been to. See, super easy! What could go wrong? This is an awesome plan that absolutely won't inadvertently kill everyone. Thankfully, Silver Surfer shows up and knocks out a bunch of the teleporters, probably saving the lives of everyone on Earth 828 in the process. Reed comes up with a new plan using the last teleporter: They'll just trick Galactus, the powerful godlike supervillain they just met, into standing inside one of their teleporters that just happens to be the perfect size for Galactus (who is only a little bigger than a full-sized Ant-Man in this movie) and then they'll teleport him to that far-off star system instead of the entire planet. This is, admittedly, a better plan though successfully carrying it out makes Galactus seem like a pretty lame supervillain. Fortunately, Galactus isn't fooled into standing in the teleporter (which he could have easily just stepped right out of since there'a a 45-second countdown timer before it actually works). Instead, Sue goes all Mama Bear and uses her powers to knock him into the teleporter and then Silver Surfer has a change of heart and knocks him back in when Galactus tries to get out. He basically just stomps around NYC for a minute, knocks down a few buildings, grabs the baby and then gets beat up by a handful of moderately powerful superheroes. It's deeply annoying. A Galactus-Sized Villain Problem The MCU spent so many years and so many films building up to Thanos. They made him this overarching threat for multiple phases of the MUC. They sprinkled in the Infinity Stones. They built and planned and prepared until finally Thanos came roaring onto the scene in Infinity War . . . and won. Our heroes lost. After all this time, they lost and had to come back and try again in Endgame. Galactus is more powerful than Thanos and gets one movie to show up and get his butt kicked by the Fantastic Four because Sue Storm gets protective of her baby. It's such a waste of a supervillain's potential. Marvel clearly knows how to set up amazing villains (and maybe they'll do that with Dr Doom, though I'm deeply concerned at this point) but this was not it. Even if Galactus returns in a future MCU film, he was so poorly used here that I'm not sure anyone will care. Fans will eat it up, I'm sure. The Fantastic Four did stuff together! There were callbacks and Easter Eggs! Pedro is so handsome! Vanessa Kirby is Sue Storm, heart emoji heart emoji heart emoji. It's so comic book, I love how this and Superman are so comic book, just comic booking at me in every frame, wow, just wow! (A comic book movie being 'so comic book' is the latest thing fans say that's just vague enough to be meaningless but can magically let a film off the hook for its lousy script). I didn't hate it, mind you. The pacing was decent. It moved along at a nice clip but gave you lots of character moments along the way. And it didn't beat you over the head with its humor. There's a genuinely funny moment at the end of the movie where the men all try to put a fancy car seat into the car and it's this whole gimmick and quite funny. Mole Man / Harvey Elder has some scenes played by the always entertaining Paul Walter Hauser. Lots of little moments that are fun or funny or cool or heartfelt, some decent action scenes, and yet the movie just felt empty in the end. I felt nothing. Stuff happened to characters that I didn't really care about. Besides, I knew they'd all be fine and they were. The world was fine. Everything was fine but I felt no sense of relief over this. Galactus could have eaten Earth 828 and the Fantastic Four and their little baby, too, and at least I would have felt surprise. The cast was fine, but they didn't really connect like a family. The chemistry wasn't really there. Only Thing felt really true to the character here. Fantastic Four I always ask myself these questions after I see a film these days. First, would I watch it again? Second, would I recommend others go see it in theaters or, if not, when it comes to streaming? The answer to the first question is 'no.' I have no reason or desire to watch First Steps again. It's not funny enough or exciting enough or unique enough or well-written enough to watch more than once. I would also not recommend you see this in theaters, simply because even while it looks good, there is very little that warrants a trip to the big screen. Definitely give it a watch when it lands on Disney+ because it's an okay superhero movie with a cool aesthetic and decent performances from its leads. But you're not missing anything by waiting a couple months. Fantastic Four: First Steps may be one of the best MCU films we've seen over the past few years, but this says more about the low bar Marvel and Disney have set than it does about the quality of this movie. It's possible I'm suffering from superhero fatigue, but I'd like to offer an alternative diagnosis: I'm suffering from superhero formula fatigue. These movies aren't doing enough to surprise and delight us anymore. They're falling back on cheap tricks. Read my review of Superman right here. James Gunn's film and Fantastic Four: First Steps have a very similar vibe, all feel-good 'let's come together to stop the bad guys' stuff but in the most generic, puerile way possible. It makes whatever our superheroes do feel much less super when the public just sort of echoes whatever the writers want them to about our heroes. Both films are also deeply formulaic and dull. Things happen, our heroes react, a potentially world-ending crisis is easily averted and everything is wrapped up in time for dinner. There is no friction, no tension between characters beyond brief, surface level disagreements. There are no consequences for our heroes' actions. And because there are no consequences, we never get heroes with any real agency. Where are the hard choices or sacrifices they're required to make? Where are the mistakes made that lead to worse outcomes or hard bargains? Things just happen. That's it. That's the script. Things happen, the end. Just enough jokey bits are tossed, like scraps from the dinner table, to distract us from the lousy script, the disappointing villains and the lackluster heroics. But hey, whatever. It's just a comic book movie!

Where are the Heroes cast now? From major Hollywood successes to addiction issues and racism accusations, what happened to the franchise's most notable names

Heroes was an immediate smash hit when it arrived on screens back in 2006, propelling its cast to overnight fame. The sci-fi series followed a group of ordinary people who develop superhuman abilities and use their powers to save humanity from destruction. Gaining a strong following, the show ran for four series until 2010, and was briefly rebooted for 2015's Heroes Reborn, with some of the original cast returning. Last year, it was rumoured that another reboot, titled Heroes: Eclipsed, was in the works with original creator Tim Kring attached to the project. However, little has been heard about the venture since and original star Milo Ventimiglia shared his doubts, telling Deadline they'd already tried to bring it back. Though Milo appeared to shut down returning to the franchise, it is not known if any of the other cast would be willing to return if another reboot was in the works, having all moved on to different things since Heroes ended. Hayden Panettiere After her four-season stint as Claire Bennet on Heroes, Hayden, 35, went on to nab a leading role in another major drama series. She starred as Juliette Barnes in country-music drama Nashville, which ran for six seasons from 2012 until 2018. Her love life came under interest from Heroes fans as she dated her co-star Milo for more than a year before going their separate ways in 2009. The couple, who had a 12-year age gap, first insisted they were just 'good friends' and kept their romance under wraps after becoming involved during filming. Hayden also scored other major successes throughout the 00s including n 2006's Bring It On: All or Nothing, 2009's I Love You as well as Scream 4. However, after wrapping up filming on Nashville she took an unplanned four-year break from acting amid her struggles with alcohol and drug addiction. Hayden made her acting comeback in 2023 and later said of the break: 'I had taken four years off. 'Didn't know or plan to, but that's just the way it panned out, and I desperately needed it.' She has openly discussed her addiction over the years and made her return to the spotlight appearing in Scream VI in 2023, once again playing Kirby Reed. Her past addiction struggles saw her make the difficult decision for her daughter Kaya to live with her ex, Ukrainian former boxer Wladimir Klitschko. Hayden, who is now sober, got engaged to Wladimir in October 2013 and they welcomed Kaya the following year, but went their separate ways in 2018. She later dated Brian Hickerson but over the course of their relationship, he faced multiple domestic violence charges, and in 2021 he served time for injuring her. In 2023, Hayden said they had become friends again while pursuing their sobriety, which was 'contingent on him continuing on this road of recovery'. She has reentered the spotlight in more recent years, starring in other releases including Amber Alert in 2024 and 2025 release A Breed Apart. Milo Ventimiglia Milo, 48, rose to fame as quite the teenage heartthrob in the 2000s, starring as Rory Gilmore's misunderstood love interest Jess Mariano on Gilmore Girls. His character quickly became a firm fan favourite and fans spent years hoping he and Rory would get back together - with the theories sparking up again when he returned for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life in 2016. At the same time as his Gilmore Girls fame, he soared to further stardom when he took on a leading role in 2006 sci-fi series Heroes. Starring as Peter Petrelli, Milo's talents were shown to a whole new audience when he joined the star-studded cast and he stayed for the entire four-series run. However, fans were left disappointed when Milo didn't reprise his role for the 2015 reboot, Heroes Reborn, as he instead focused on other projects. He has secured a string of high-profile roles since his 00s fame, including in The Art of Racing in the Rain, 2012's That's My Boy and Creed II. But he is arguably best-known for having starred as Jack Pearson on This Is Us from 2016 until 2022, which saw him nab three Emmy nominations. In his personal life, Milo welcomed his first child with his wife Jarah in January 2025, two years after they tied the knot. The arrival of their daughter, Ke'ala Coral, came just days after they devastatingly lost their home during the LA Pacific Palisades wildfires. Jarah was 38 weeks pregnant when they were forced to evacuate their home in the blaze, which completely destroyed an array of celebrity homes. Announcing the arrival of their daughter, the couple said they were overjoyed to simply be 'healthy and safe' following the tragedy. 'We are deeply grateful to all of the heroes who help battle fires, as well as care for everyone affected by the aftermath for years to come,' they added. Milo got choked up as he revisited the remains of their former home following the fire, telling how it had been all set up for their daughter's arrival and spoke of the memories lost. He said: 'I think there's a shock moment where you go, this is real and this is happening. Then, at some point, you just turn it off. What good is it to continue watching?' Eventually, while watching the live footage, he said: 'We kind of accepted the loss.' The arrival of their daughter, Ke'ala Coral, came just days after they devastatingly lost their home during the LA Pacific Palisades wildfires Zachary Quinto Arguably one of the best-known Heroes cast, Zachary has gone on to launch himself into mainstream Hollywood since his role as villain Sylar/Gabriel Gray. The American actor, 48, memorably took over the role of Spock from the late Leonard Nimoy in J.J. Abrams' 2009 Star Trek adaptation. He has gone on to reprise his role in two Star Trek sequels - 2013's Star Trek Into Darkness and 2016's Star Trek Beyond. There has been much interest in a fourth movie in the series and it was reportedly in development, but no official announcements have yet been made. Zachary recently brushed off concerns about a time gap before a potential fourth movie, admitting he would love the chance to reprise the role again. 'The great thing is Star Trek is a limitless universe. Look at all the television shows, look at all the stories, look at all the characters and timelines,' he said last year. 'Anything is possible. That's the joy of the franchise. That's why it's lasted for 55, 60 years. I'm open to it. I would love it. I would absolutely love it.' Away from Star Trek, Zachary has also taken on roles in big projects including 2011's Margin Call and 2024 medical drama Brilliant Minds. Zachary was previously in a long-term relationship with Miles McMillan but the couple went their separate ways in February 2019 after six years together. He is currently not known to be in another relationship but also previously dated actor Jonathan Groff, before their 2013 split. Greg Grunberg Greg starred as Matt Parkman on Heroes and has continued to pursue acting, also joining a major sci-fi franchise, much like his co-star Zachary. While Zachary joined the Star Trek franchise, Greg joined the Star Wars world, appearing in the modern sequels to the beloved original trilogy. He took on the role of Temmin 'Snap' Wexley in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Greg has also starred in other major Hollywood blockbusters including A Star Is Born, which sees Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga leading the cast. He additionally featured in 2020's Max Reload, The Nether Blaster and 2022 release The Fabelmans. Greg nearly reunited with Zachary on-screen as he was offered the part of Olson in Star Trek by J.J Abrams but was unable to accept it due to scheduling conflicts. Olson was instead played by Greg Ellis, and he instead voiced Kirk's stepfather Frank during the opening sequence of the final film in the franchise. In his personal life, Greg is married to Elizabeth Dawn Wershow and they share three children - Sam, Jake and Ben. Their son Jake, 29, has epilepsy, which has inspired Greg to pursue an active role in raising awareness for the neurological disorder. Masi Oka Masi famously took on the role of Hiro Nakamura on Heroes and went on to have another high-profile role on CBS' Hawaii Five-0 remake. The Japanese actor, 50, starred as Doctor Max Bergman on the long-running crime drama until 2017, when he left to pursue other interests. Despite Heroes coming to an end, he never let his love for the franchise behind him and he returned for the Heroes Reborn sequel in 2015. He was nominated for an Emmy award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his work in Heroes in a huge achievement. As well as his TV fame, he has also nabbed film roles including in Friends With Benefits, 2013 release Jobs, 2018's The Meg and Bullet Train, which also starred Brad Pitt and Joey King. He is still working as an actor and will be starring in an adaptation of dark fantasy manga series Claymore, Deadline reported earlier this year. He will serve as executive producer on the live-action CBS show, which is based on the series by Norihiro Yagi. Masi has also explored other business ventures away from the screen and is also the co-founder of tech company Mobius Digital. Kristen Bell Though arguably one of the most famous Heroes alumni, it is often forgotten that she got one of her early jobs on Heroes. However, she also took on a notable role as leading character Ted Mosby's mother Virginia Mosby in smash hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother. She has stepped away from the spotlight in recent years, not racking up any further acting credits since starring in Sharp Objects for one episode in 2018. Cristine has also worked as a playwright away from the spotlight with her play Sanctuary having a successful run in London last year. Jack Coleman Heroes certainly wasn't Jack's first foray into the spotlight as he spent six years starring on Dynasty in the 1980s. He then took on the role of Claire Bennet's father Noah on the supernatural series and returned for the 2015 reboot. A fan of the supernatural genre, he also starred as Caroline Forbes' father Bill on The Vampire Diaries, taking on a recurring role in the show's early series. His other acting credits include starring in 2009's Polar Storm, 2006 release Cow Belles and Rattlesnakes in 2019. Jack has been married to his wife Beth Toussaint since 1996 and the couple share a daughter called Tess. Leonard Roberts/Ali Larter Leonard portrayed DL Hawkins on Heroes while Ali starred as his on-screen wife Nicole Sanders. Leonard only appeared in one series of Heroes and he has since accused Ali of having him written off the NBC programme. In 2020, Leonard said systemic racism ruined his role on Heroes in an essay for Variety, in which he recounted how he was hired and then fired from his role. Leonard wrote: 'I've been a Black actor for 25 years but I've been a Black man in America my whole life. 'Those are never separate journeys, nor do I believe they ever should be. The Black Lives Matter protests clearly were bringing up feelings of anger, fear and shame connected to a time in my professional past I now believe are deserving of reflection.' He went on to describe his contentious working relationship with Ali and said art was imitating life in the script's suggestion of their 'volatile relationship'. Responding to his allegations, Ali said she was 'deeply saddened' to hear of his experience and insisted it did not line up with her own memories of the show. 'I am deeply saddened to hear about Leonard Roberts' experience on Heroes and I am heartbroken reading his perception of our relationship, which absolutely doesn't match my memory nor experience on the show,' she said in a statement to TVLine. 'I respect Leonard as an artist and I applaud him or anyone using their voice and platform. I am truly sorry for any role I may have played in his painful experience during that time and I wish him and his family the very best.' Since then, Leonard has continued to work in the entertainment industry and starred in 2023's Goosebumps as Happy Sam Sawyer. He has also taken on roles in the rebooted Charmed series, Hawaii Five-0, Bosch: Legacy and The Upshaws, among many others. Meanwhile, Ali has most recently starred in TV series Landman alongside the likes of Billy Bob Thornton, Michelle Randolph and Demi Moore. She portrays Angela Norris in the show, sex-crazed ex-wife of Billy Bob's Tommy Norris, and often films scantily-clad scenes for the role. 'I get to work with an incredible cast and the entire crew is so gifted and talented that I just feel like I'm playing at the top of the game and so that's really exciting,' she recently gushed. 'And now to see the fans really love these characters and love the story that's unfolding is very exciting, because you never know when you're making something if it's gonna connect with an audience and this show obviously has.' Ali has been married to actor Hayes MacArthur since 2009 and the couple tend to keep their relationship relatively private. Adrian Pasdar Adrian appeared as Nathan Petrelli on Heroes from 2006 until 2009, before he was killed off by Skylar in a shock twist.
