The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced the provisional results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Compartmental & Improvement Examinations 2025 on the afternoon of July 16, 2025. Students who appeared for these exams can download their provisional marksheets from the official NBSE portal — According to the official notification issued on July 11, soft copies of the result will be available online, and candidates can use them to check their performance. Meanwhile, the Board has informed that documents related to the results will be issued to Centre Superintendents only from July 18, 2025. Centre Superintendents are responsible for collecting the documents and distributing them to the schools under their respective centres. Stream-wise result statistics In the Arts stream, 965 candidates appeared, with a total of 444 students passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 46.01%. Male candidates had a pass rate of 42.22%, while female candidates performed better with a pass rate of 51.23%. In Commerce, 146 candidates appeared, with 65 passing and an overall pass percentage of 44.52%. Male students passed at a rate of 42.06%, while female students had a pass percentage of 51.28%. The Science stream saw 645 candidates appear, with 234 passing and an overall pass percentage of 36.28%. The pass percentage for male candidates was 36.65%, and for female candidates, it was 35.99%. Assam High School Leaving Certificate 2025 Compartment Result Declared, Download Here
Assam HSLC 2025 Compartment Result: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has declared the result for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC)/Class 10 Compartment examinations today, June 16, 2025. Students who appeared for the examination can check and download their result on the official website, The HSLC compartment examinations were conducted from May 23 to May 29, 2025, to help students who failed the main HSLC exams save their academic year. Assam HSLC 2025 Compartment Result: How To Download Result? Visit the official website, Click on either "Result Link 1" or "Result Link 2". Enter your roll number and mobile number. Click on "Submit" button. Your results will be displayed on the screen. Download and save your result for future reference. The HSLC compartment examinations were conducted in two shifts-first shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and the second shift from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. A student will need to achieve a minimum of 30 per cent marks to clear the HSLC compartment examinations. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 63.89 per cent for the HSLC main examinations. Boys outperformed girls with a pass percentage of 67.59 per cent while girls achieved a pass percentage of 61.09 per cent.

Fake cert racket busted in Mizoram, 3 arrested
Aizawl: Three persons have been arrested in South Mizoram's Lunglei district in connection with a fake High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) marksheet scam after an applicant for a constable post was found using a fraudulent certificate during the ongoing police recruitment process. On Sunday, police arrested C Lalduhoma, a Mizoram homeguard personnel and aspirant for the constable position, after the Lunglei district police constable recruitment board discovered that the mark sheet he presented during his personal interview was fake. Lalduhoma reportedly admitted to purchasing the fraudulent certificate for Rs 12,000 from PC Zonunmawii, a resident of Ramthar locality in Lunglei town. Following his arrest, Zonunmawii confessed to selling the fake certificate but denied creating it, instead pointing to Lalrohluzuala Sailo, another resident of Ramthar neighbourhood. Police subsequently arrested Sailo at his residence, where they allegedly seized incriminating documents, a laptop, and a smartphone. Speaking to TOI over the phone on Tuesday, Lunglei district superintendent of police Jerome Lalmuankima Hmar said Sailo's laptop and mobile phone will undergo thorough examination, which is expected to uncover further details about the fake certificate racket.

Manipur HSLC Exam '25 records 91.37% pass rate, Chandel tops
Imphal: The Board of Secondary Education Manipur ( BOSEM ) on Monday declared the results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2025, recording an overall pass percentage of 91.37%.This year's results mark a milestone as the board adopted the grading system for the first time in its evaluation to BOSEM, a total of 37,052 students from 949 govt, aided, and private schools registered for the examinations, which were conducted from Feb 19 to March 7 across 155 centres in the these, 36,943 students, including 18,556 girls, appeared for the exams. A total of 33,755 students cleared the examination, comprising 16,930 year, boys slightly outshined girls in terms of gender-wise performance, with the pass percentage for boys standing at 91.51%, while girls achieved a success rate of 91.24%.As usual, private schools registered a higher success rate with a pass percentage of 94.15%, followed by aided schools at 91.38%. Govt schools, however, trailed with a pass percentage of 82.32%.One of the standout achievements this year came from Chandel district, which registered a 100% pass rate — the highest among all 16 districts in the results of nine students from nine schools have been withheld and the school authorities have been informed to enquire at the BOSEM office for these reasons.
