A crash involving multiple vehicles has sent two people to hospital and caused heavy traffic on Highway 8 Saturday afternoon.
In an email to CTV News, Ontario Provincial Police said the crash happened between two small sedans and one SUV.
One elderly woman, who's age was not provided and one man in his 30s were transported to hospital with minor injuries as a precaution.
At around 4 p.m., bumper-to-bumper traffic could be seen on the highway just before the Highway 7 on-ramp.
Police said traffic had become a stop-and-go domino effect.
They have warned drivers to pay attention, keep their heads up and to keep an ample amount of space between their vehicle and the vehicle ahead of them.
All lanes have been reopened.
