NSW weather map: which parts of state are being hit by flood and rain – and what areas are at flooding risk?

Destructive winds and heavy rainfall are hitting large swathes of the New South Wales coastline, with some areas already recording more than 100mm as a vigorous coastal low intensified offshore. Here you can see the extent of the rainfall over the week as well as the areas affected by flooding. This map shows the areas either at risk or affected by flooding and storm conditions: This map shows the total rainfall at weather stations over the past seven days. A darker shade of purple indicates higher rainfall: This satellite imagery shows the storm off the east coast of Australia as of Tuesday afternoon. The Bureau of Meteorology described the storm as a 'vigorous coastal low pressure system with an embedded trough'. Weekly rainfall map data from the BoM, available here Satellite imagery sourced from the BoM/Himawari-9
