Genshin Impact Nod-Krai teaser reveals Varka and Alice character designs, elements, and voice actors
HoYoverse has officially revealed two long-anticipated characters—Varka and Alice—in the latest Genshin Impact Nod-Krai teaser titled Moonlit Ballad of the teaser showcases their full character designs and confirms their elemental affinities, finally delivering on years of in-game teasing. Varka, the Grandmaster of the Knights of Favonius, appears with a tall, muscular build and visible battle scars, highlighting his combat experience. The teaser shows him wielding the Claymore weapon Wolf's Gravestone, confirming his status as a Claymore user. Additionally, his Anemo vision is clearly displayed on the left side of his coat, solidifying his elemental alignment. Meanwhile, Alice—an eccentric and powerful figure in Genshin Impact lore and the mother of Klee—also makes her long-awaited debut. She is depicted with long blonde hair, elf-like ears, and a distinctively styled witch's hat. Her Pyro vision is attached to her hat, though the teaser does not explicitly show her weapon of choice. Given her identity as a witch, it is speculated she may be a Catalyst user. Voice actor details for both characters have also been revealed. The event unfolds in a dedicated domain in Fontaine Beryl Region, south of Elynas. The cunning players will have to put their tactics to use as they confront 12 waves of enemies with just a few of those special cannon shells. Here's everything you need to know to become an ace at this chaos. Welcome to the Cannon Arena This domain will place you behind a stationary cannon, your only instrument in stopping the onslaught of slimes, hilichurls, and others. The aim is simple: ensure the enemies do not pass your defense line, but with limited shells per match, your main concern is managing ammunition. — GenshinUpdate (@GenshinUpdate) Know Your Arsenal: The Four Shell Types Understanding your cannon ammunition comes in handy when you try to survive all 12 waves: Solid Shot (x40): Standard, single-target ammo for isolated enemies or for clean-up. For instance, smash Hydro stones with these or pick off any remaining stragglers. Grape Shot (x25): Breaks into three shots after firing, making this ideal for enemies grouped horizontally. For new characters and limited-time events, let's get into what we know (and guess about) the Honkai Star Rail 3.5 livestream. Livestream Timely Expectation With an unwavering commitment to its fast-paced updates, HoYoverse has so far maintained great consistency, running livestreams usually about a week prior to the patch release. Now, with phase two of 3.4 having just kicked in, fans can reasonably expect to see the 3.5 stream drop on August 1 in line with the pre-patch reveal schedule of the company.
