So she decided to give it a go herself instead of paying the professionals.
In the clip, she said: "I was quoted £6,000 for my dream parquet floor.
"Here's how I did it for less than £2,000."
The first thing she did was level the floor using screed to make sure the surface was prepped for the flooring.
She was desperate to get parquet flooring and as luck would have it, she found it secondhand on Facebook Marketplace for just £350.
After making sure the wooden panels fit correctly, she glued them down and added a double wooden border to the edges of the room.
Now the biggest and priciest job had been complete, she got professionals in to help sand and stain the flooring.
"We didn't want to ruin our hard work by attempting it ourselves," she explained.
Now, after all of that hard work, she finally had her dream flooring.
She shared an image of the finished results and it looked just as good as the professionals.
