Hilltop Hoods Announce 2026 All-Ages Arena Tour

Hilltop Hoods have detailed their first headlining Australian tour in three-and-a-half years, with the Never Going Home tour announced for February 2026. The tour comes in support of the trio's upcoming ninth studio album Fall From The Light, which is set for release next month on Friday, August 1st. The full list of tour dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below. 'Over the last few years, we've stepped back from touring to complete our album,' said co-frontman Matthew Lambert – AKA Suffa MC. 'Now that it's done, we can't wait to get back on the road. In a lot of ways, we're more energised than ever and have been putting together a show that we're really proud of and excited to share.' The Hoods last toured Australia in September 2022, in support of their then-recent single 'Show Business' – which featured 2000s one-hit-wonder Eamon on vocals. Hilltop Hoods – 'Don't Happy, Be Worry' The first indication of a new studio album from the multi-platinum Adelaide group came in 2023, with the release of the new single 'Laced Up'. Minimal activity followed the release of the single, however, save for an appearance at that year's Yours & Owls and Now & Forever fesitvals. In September 2024, the Hoods were announced on the line-up for Bluesfest's final/not-final festival in April 2025. Two months before that appearance, a new single entitled 'The Gift' was released. Fall From The Light is also set to feature appearances from frequent collaborator Nyassa, as well as New Zealand band Six60 on the tour's titular track 'Never Going Home'. The song is set to be released as the album's fourth single on Friday, with a new music premiering at 8am AEST that morning. The album can be both pre-saved digitally and pre-ordered physically by clicking here. Hilltop Hoods Never Coming Home 2026 Tour All shows are licensed all-ages. Hilltop Hoods announce huge 2026 comeback tour of Australia

Don't miss out on the headlines from Music. Followed categories will be added to My News. Australian hip hop heroes Hilltop Hoods will make their long-awaited return to the country's biggest stages in February and March next year. The Never Coming Home tour is the latest in a flurry of activity from the award-winning group who next month release Fall From The Light, the first new studio record in six years. The hip hop trailblazers were deluged with 'what about Australia?' comments on social media channels last week from loyal fans when they revealed UK and European tour dates for August ahead of a hometown run. 'Oh, we have heard (all) about it in the comments section which is fine, I understand it – I feel the same with bands that I like,' Suffa said about the protests from local fans. 'It's just the way that it worked out with the physics, the Northern Hemisphere summer, the rotation around the sun and the Gregorian calendar; it's nothing personal.' Suffa, Pressure and DJ Debris will kick off the tour at the MyState Bank Arena in Hobart on February 14 and then head to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on February 21, Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on February 28, Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on March 7, Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 14 and RAC Arena, Perth on March 21. The hip hop group is one of the biggest Aussie artists of all time, with more than 1.3 billion streams on Spotify alone and one million records sold over the past two decades. They hold the record for the most tickets sold by an Australian artist at Qudos Bank Arena, with more than 15,000 fans rocking the foundations of the venue during the Great Expanse tour in 2019. Suffa said 'a lot happened' to force the long break between albums and tours, although they have kept the fan fires burning with a succession of singles including So Good?, Show Business and Laced Up. 'I had two young children and a cavoodle, so I had my hands full. And Dan had a young lass as well just before lockdowns. We had young families, Covid happened and a bunch of false starts,' Suffa said. 'It sucked at the time, but I think like as far as the album goes, it was good for it in the long run because we shed a lot of the fat.' Suffa (left) showed off his hair for the first time ever in the Don't Happy, Be Worry video. Picture: Supplied. Hoods fans were recently shocked by the group's video for their recent single Don't Happy, Be Worry – because it featured Suffa with hair for the first time in his career. And no, he hasn't had a transplant – he just always hid under a cap. 'That's my real head! That's the only film clip I've ever done without a hat and the amount of people that have said to me, 'I thought you were bald!' I just wear a hat which means I constantly have hat hair,' Suffa said. The Hoods will release the new single Never Coming Home, featuring SIX60, on Friday and tickets for the tour go on sale on July 17 from 10am via Originally published as Hip hop heroes Hilltop Hoods announce comeback to Australian arenas in February and March

Touring theatre show to explore themes of poverty and family solidarity with Esperance students

Esperance students will explore themes of poverty and family solidarity as part of a thought-provoking theatre program. Hoods, a gritty suburban tale written by Angela Betzien, will be performed at Esperance Civic Centre on June 25 as part of a regional WA tour. The production is recommended for secondary students in Years 9 to 12. It forms part of a two-year partnership between Barking Gecko Arts and Horizon Power to bring theatre productions and creative learning programs to regional students through the Powering Imaginations initiative. Barking Gecko Arts chief executive Ryan Taaffe said the program would build students' wellbeing through engagement with the arts. 'When children experience live theatre, it fosters creativity and empathy, improves emotional intelligence, and brings bucketloads of joy,' he said. 'Thanks to Horizon Power's support, we can bring these transformative experiences directly to regional communities.' The $100,000 partnership from Horizon Power was delivered on behalf of the State Government and will also reach Exmouth and Karratha. Horizon Power chief executive Stephanie Unwin said the energy provider was pleased to support an initiative which would foster regional students' creativity. 'It's fantastic that Barking Gecko can continue to expand their program across regional WA so that more students have the chance to experience the excitement of their live theatre shows,' she said. 'We are proud to support this initiative and work together to bring the arts to an ever-increasing audience across the regions.' It comes after the latest round of Horizon's Community Partnerships Program which awarded $50,000 across 12 initiatives in the Goldfields-Esperance region. Beneficiaries include Cycling Development Foundation's Laverton Cycling Project, Esperance's Mother's Day Classic, and Mudjar Aboriginal Corporation's Reconciliation Day event, and a fire pit and furniture for the Wingellina (Irrunytju) Community, among others.

Egyptian Startup Hoods Secures EGP 5 Million Investment from Shark Tank

Egyptian e-commerce startup Hoods has secured a EGP 5 million investment from businessman Ahmed Tarek and entrepreneur Mona Ataya during its appearance on Shark Tank Egypt. The funding includes EGP 3.75 million in exchange for a 15% equity stake and an EGP 1.25 million interest-free loan for six months. Founded by Mostafa Hanafy, Hoods is pioneering the Live Shopping concept, a rapidly growing e-commerce trend that allows consumers to purchase products instantly while watching live-streamed content. This model combines entertainment and commerce, transforming the way consumers interact with online shopping. “We are not just building a platform for selling; we are shaping the future of e-commerce,” said Hanafy. “Consumers today want an engaging and interactive shopping experience, and Hoods bridges the gap between content creation and seamless transactions.” Hoods enables sellers and content creators to set up their own live shopping channels in just two minutes, offering a hassle-free alternative to social media platforms that lack built-in e-commerce tools. The platform eliminates the need for sellers to manage separate websites, payment gateways, and shipping services. Since its launch 14 months ago, Hoods has attracted 150,000 users, processed 20,000 successful orders, and generated EGP 30 million in sales, all while keeping marketing costs low. With ambitious plans for regional expansion, the startup aims to become the largest Live Shopping platform in the Middle East by 2026, introducing AI-driven shopping tools and new monetization models to enhance user experience and revenue generation.
