Disturbed's New Single Matches One Of The Band's Biggest Hits

Disturbed's 'I Will Not Break' slips on Billboard's charts but ties as the band's second-longest run ... More ever on the Hot Hard Rock Songs ranking. DETROIT, MICHIGAN - MARCH 10: David Draiman of the band Disturbed performs during The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour at Little Caesars Arena on March 10, 2025 in Detroit, Michigan. (Photo by) After 12 weeks on the Billboard charts, Disturbed's new single "I Will Not Break" is on the decline. The track still appears on multiple rankings, but it's falling on each and every one of them. At this point, it doesn't look like it will climb any higher on any roster — although it has already reached the summit on most of the tallies on which it appears. Now, it's all about longevity. And, already, after only a few months, the latest from the hard rockers stands out as one of the group's longest-running successes on a competitive list. "I Will Not Break" has now spent an even dozen weeks on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart — Billboard's ranking of the most consumed tunes in that style. The company blends sales and streaming data as well as total audience impressions at radio to paint a picture of which hard rock tracks are the most popular in the U.S. This frame, "I Will Not Break" dips from No. 8 to No. 13 – but it's the length of time that's really notable. With 12 weeks to its credit on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, "I Will Not Break" is tied as Disturbed's second-longest-running win ever on the tally. It is now matched with "Don't Tell Me," a collaboration with Ann Wilson. That tune debuted in early 2024 and also held on for an even 12 frames before disappearing. It's highly likely that "I Will Not Break" will, in fact, break that tie in just a few days, since it's still living in the middle of the list and is unlikely to drop precipitously in the span of just a week. Only one track stands ahead of both "Don't Tell Me" and "I Will Not Break," and it's "Hey You." That tune, which arrived in the summer of 2024, peaked at No. 4 and went on to spend exactly half a year, or 26 frames, on the Hot Hard Rock Songs ranking. That's more than twice as long as both "Don't Tell Me" and "I Will Not Break." Whether Disturbed's latest focus cut will be able to catch up by holding on for several more months is tough to predict, as it's already on the downswing. "I Will Not Break" currently appears on three Billboard charts, and it earns its lowest placement on the Hot Hard Rock Songs tally. The tune still lives inside the top five on both the Rock & Alternative Airplay and Mainstream Rock Airplay lists, where it declines ever so slightly to Nos. 4 and 5, respectively. At the same time, two different versions of Disturbed's "The Sound of Silence" remain bestsellers. The original settles at No. 7 on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart, while the Cyril remix slips one space to No. 3 on the Dance Digital Song Sales tally.

Linkin Park And Sleep Token Manage The Same Incredible Chart Feat

Linkin Park and Sleep Token each claim three simultaneous top 10s on Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs ... More chart, while Ghost nearly matches the feat. (Photo by Medios) Throughout the past year, Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs chart has been dominated by just a handful of big names. Linkin Park, Sleep Token, and Ghost have all scored multiple smashes, some of which have remained on the tally for months at a time. The current ranking highlights just how popular these acts are and how the competition between them is playing out, as two of them manage an impressive feat — and the third just narrowly fails to joins them. Both Sleep Token and Linkin Park earn back-to-back-to-back top 10 hits this week. The two bands each claim a trio of tunes sitting next to one another inside the top 10 on the list of the most-consumed hard rock cuts in the U.S. Ghost nearly pulls off the same accomplishment but falls short by just one position. For the second consecutive frame, Sleep Token occupies the top three spots on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. Last week, "Damocles" debuted at No. 1, and it now refuses to budge. Behind that single are two previous leaders, "Caramel" and "Emergence," at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. Linkin Park claims the next three highest positions on the tally. Three cuts taken from the band's comeback album From Zero, including its recently-released deluxe edition, are on the rise. 'Up from the Bottom,' "The Emptiness Machine," and "Heavy Is the Crown" each ascend slightly, landing at Nos. 4, 5, and 6, respectively. Ghost nearly matches the feat managed by Sleep Token and Linkin Park, but just misses out on joining them. The metal act sits at Nos. 9 and 10 with "Peacefield" and "Satanized," respectively. Last week, "Lachryma" was at No. 10, but this frame it swaps positions with "Satanized," dipping to No. 11 and outside of the region. Disturbed keeps Ghost from a trio of top 10s, as the band's "I Will Not Break" jumps from No. 12 to No. 8, returning to the uppermost tier.

Linkin Park Scores Back-To-Back New Top 10 Singles

Linkin Park's new single 'Unshatter' debuts inside the top 10 on four Billboard charts, marking ... More another major win ahead of the band's upcoming From Zero deluxe release. LONDON, ENGLAND - SEPTEMBER 24: Emily Armstrong of Linkin Park performs during the 'From Zero World Tour' at The O2 Arena on September 24, 2024 in London, England. (Photo by) On May 16, Linkin Park will release the deluxe edition of From Zero. The standard version of the album dropped in the fall of 2024 and was promoted with a slew of hugely successful singles. The collection proved that the band, which had been out of the spotlight for years, could still produce radio smashes and continued to command a massive fanbase. Two tracks from the upcoming expanded project have already been shared, and one of them debuts inside the top 10 on multiple Billboard rankings this week in the U.S. "Unshatter" is the second official single from the deluxe edition of From Zero. It arrives just about a month after "Up from the Bottom," which also became a big Billboard success. This week, "Unshatter" lands on five tallies published by the music magazine. It opens inside the top 10 on all but one of them, thanks largely to about 1,400 pure purchases, according to Luminate. Linkin Park's "Unshatter" hits No. 3 as it arrives on both the Alternative Digital Song Sales and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales charts. That's the highest position it reaches on any list. On the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart, it's bested by Sleep Token's 'Damocles,' which also leads the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales ranking. On the former list, "Messy" by Lola Young drops from No. 1 to No. 2, while former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar debuts his tribute to Eddie Van Halen titled 'Encore (Thank You, Goodnight)' in the runner-up spot on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart. "Unshatter" also begins its time on both the Rock Digital Song Sales and Hot Hard Rock Songs charts, kicking off at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively. The same new Linkin Park single is also present on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, Billboard's most important tally dedicated to individual tunes in those genres. The band's track barely becomes a top 40 win, as it gets its start at No. 38. Throughout the decades, Linkin Park has collected dozens of smashes on most of these rankings. It has accrued the fewest appearances on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, as "Unshatter" marks the band's twenty-first placement. The group has earned the most entries on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs list, where it has collected a total of 51 placements.

One Of Linkin Park's Most Impressive Billboard Records Has Been Matched

Sleep Token replaces itself at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, joining Linkin Park ... More and Bring Me the Horizon in doing so. (Photo by) Sleep Token has been growing in popularity in America for years, but this latest era certifies the group as not just a breakout act in the world of hard rock, but new hard rock superheroes – ones who manage some incredible feats on the Billboard charts. This week, the mysterious outfit makes history on one tally, trading one No. 1 for another on a genre-specific list and, in doing so, joining a very short gathering of names that have managed such a feat. On the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, Sleep Token pulls off something that very few acts ever have. The group replaces itself at No. 1 on the tally, swapping out one smash for the next without missing a beat. 'Caramel' debuts in first place this frame, immediately taking over as the most-consumed hard rock song in the United States. As it arrives, 'Emergence' slips just one spot to No. 2 after ruling the list previously. That kind of handoff — where one track from the same band takes over the top spot from another — is an extremely rare achievement on this particular Billboard ranking, which only launched about half a decade years ago. According to Billboard, Sleep Token is just the third act to replace itself at No. 1 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. The first name to pull it off was Bring Me the Horizon, back when the ranking was still new. In late 2020, that band's smash 'Parasite Eve' climbed to the top, bumping the group's own earlier hit 'Teardrops' from the summit. Then came Linkin Park, which not only managed to switch out one No. 1 for another — it did so multiple times. The band returned with new music as part of a comeback album titled From Zero, and it made history on the chart almost immediately. The collection's lead single, 'The Emptiness Machine,' quickly hit No. 1, only to be replaced by follow-up 'Heavy Is the Crown.' Just one frame later, 'The Emptiness Machine' returned to the top, swapping again with 'Heavy Is the Crown.' That run gave Linkin Park multiple self-replacements atop the tally, which no other name has managed. Sleep Token's latest release, 'Caramel' explodes as it arrives on the charts. The song opens at No. 1 on five Billboard rankings this week. In total, the track appears on 15 different tallies in the U.S. upon its arrival. It succeeds when looking only at sales, or streams, and especially on mixed consumption rosters as well.

Sleep Token Trades One No. 1 Billboard Smash For Another

Sleep Token debuts at No. 1 on five Billboard charts with 'Caramel,' trading one winner for another ... More as "Emergence" dips to No. 2. This week, the band sees its latest single 'Caramel' debut at No. 1 across several rankings in the United States. The breakout hit doesn't only dominate the hard rock lists, but also scores a lofty start on more than a dozen tallies simultaneously, signaling that a new powerhouse hitmaker in the harder side of rock has truly arrived. 'Caramel' immediately becomes impossible to ignore. The cut opens at No. 1 on five Billboard rankings this week, including the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart — the most important genre-specific tally when it comes to this style of music. That alone is a major win, but what makes it even more impressive is who the band knocks out of the top spot: itself. Last frame, Sleep Token ruled that same list with 'Emergence,' meaning the band has swapped one leader for another. That kind of baton pass is relatively rare, even on niche rankings like Hot Hard Rock Songs tally. While 'Caramel' debuts at No. 1, 'Emergence' doesn't fall far. In fact, it only slips to No. 2 this week, which gives Sleep Token control of the loftiest two spaces on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. That kind of showing is usually reserved for long-established names or legacy acts with huge fanbases. For a band that remains anonymous and only recently entered the mainstream, this kind of one-two punch is particularly noteworthy. Both 'Caramel' and 'Emergence' are singles from Sleep Token's upcoming full-length, Even in Arcadia. That project is currently slated for release in early May. With two No. 1 smashes already in rotation, the project is likely headed for a huge debut — potentially even a No. 1 showing on the Top Hard Rock Albums chart (as well as other Billboard tallies) when it arrives. 'Caramel' doesn't just rule the genre-focused Hot Hard Rock Songs tally. It also leads several individual rankings that focus on specific consumption types in the style, such as Hard Rock Streaming Songs and Hard Rock Digital Song Sales lists. The track also enters at No. 1 on both the Rock Streaming Songs and Alternative Digital Song Sales charts. In total, 'Caramel' lands on 15 different Billboard tallies in its first frame. It reaches the top 10 on 10 of those rankings, which is an enormous welcome for any new release — especially one from a band in the hard rock space, where top-tier debuts are much less common.
