Lady Gaga's Mayhem Ball Tour Setlist Is Missing Songs From This One Album

Lady Gaga kicked off her Mayhem Ball Tour on July 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The 'theatrical and electrifying' show is 28 songs long, starting with Born This Way's 'Bloody Mary' and ending with Mayhem's 'How Bad Do U Want Me.' She even sang the Mayhem bonus track 'Kill For Love' for the first time in full. Gaga also performed songs from The Fame, The Fame Monster, ARTPOP, Joanne, and A Star Is Born (sorry, Chromatica fans). Gaga first announced the tour on March 26 and shared that she wasn't even planning to hit the road this year, but that the Little Monsters' overwhelmingly positive response to Mayhem made her reconsider. 'It came together super quickly thanks to Arthur Fogel and the amazing team at Live Nation, who planned a global tour in just a few weeks,' she wrote in her Instagram caption. 'We chose arenas this time to give me the opportunity to control the details of the show in a way you simply can't in stadiums—and honestly, I can't wait. This show is designed to be the kind of theatrical and electrifying experience that brings MAYHEM to life exactly how I envision it.' Below, see the full breakdown of the Mayhem Ball Tour opening night setlist from July 16. If you want to see the show for yourself, you can still get tickets. Click here for more info.

Sean Kingston and His Mother Found Guilty in $1M Federal Wire Fraud Trial

Sean Kingston and his mother were found guilty of federal wire fraud charges in a Florida courtroom on Friday (March 28). The 'Beautiful Girls' singer, whose real name is Kisean Anderson, and his mother, Janice Turner, were convicted on all five charges following a five-day trial related to over $1 million in wire fraud. A jury reached their verdict after three and a half hours of deliberation, according to NBC6. He is required to post a $500,000 bond for his home and $200,000 in cash, NBC News reports. Turner, 62, was taken into custody and will remain there until her sentencing. The mother and son are scheduled to be sentenced on July 11. Each count carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. The pair was reportedly seen wiping away tears as the verdict was read on Friday. 'Protect my mother,' Kingston told U.S. Marshals as Turner was taken into custody, according to WPLG. Kingston, who did not testify during the trial, and Turner were convicted of defrauding a jewelry business, a luxury bed company, a high-end car dealership, and a TV installation company. Prosecutors said the total value of the items they obtained exceeded $1 million. The scheme spanned several years before being uncovered in March 2024. Kingston and Turner were arrested in May 2024 and made their first court appearance that July. Kingston first stormed onto the music scene as a teenager when his 'Beautiful Girls' single topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2007. His most recent album, Road to Deliverance, was released in 2022. Rapper Young Scooter Dies on 39th Birthday in Atlanta: Report

Young Scooter died Friday night (March 28) on the rapper's 39th birthday, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and details from Atlanta Police. Atlanta Police Lt. Andrew Smith led a news conference late Friday night to share details about what reportedly led to the death of Young Scooter (real name: Kenneth Edward Bailey). According to Smith, police responded to a call about a dispute with a weapon at a home and then set up a perimeter outside the house after a man shut the door on officers. Two men fled from the rear of the house, Smith said, with one returning to the home and the other jumping two fences as he was fleeing. Atlanta Police say the man was taken to Grady Marcus Trauma Center and died there. During the news conference, Smith denied widespread reports spreading on social media that Scooter had been fatally shot by Atlanta PD officers. 'Just to be very clear, the injury that was sustained was not via the officers on scene. It was when the male was fleeing.' Young Scooter's peers mourned the late rapper on social media, with Playboi Carti sharing the news on Instagram Stories with the caption 'SMFH.' Quavo took to X with broken-heart and prayer-hands emojis, writing, 'ion understand,' alongside a video of Scooter performing. The late rapper's Instagram Stories shared dozens of posts wishing him a happy birthday throughout Friday. While Scooter was born in South Carolina, his family moved to Atlanta when he was just 9 years old, and his music career has been based in the rap mecca ever since. He broke out locally with the song 'Colombia' in 2012 before joining forces with hip-hop heavyweights Future, Juicy J and Young Thug for 'DI$Function' in 2014. He hit the Billboard charts as a featured artist on Young Thug's 'Guwop,' also featuring Quavo & Offset of Migos, in 2016 (peaking at No. 45 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart) and on Future & Juice WRLD's 'Jet Lag' in 2018 (his only Billboard Hot 100 appearance, peaking at No. 72). Billboard has reached out to the Atlanta Police and a rep for Young Scooter for further information. Is Taylor Swift Really On This Lady Gaga Song? Here's The Truth Behind Those Rumours

Lady Gaga's new album Mayhem has already received a wave of praise since its release last week – but there's one song in particular that's really got Taylor Swift fans excited. The album track How Bad Do U Want Me immediately drew comparisons to the Blank Space singer, to the extent Swifties are convinced that their idol might be involved in its production. While some have questioned whether Taylor may have helped co-write the song with Gaga and her collaborators, others are even convinced that they can hear her voice in the backing vocals. wait, why does how bad do u want me by lady gaga sound like a taylor swift song??? i was so convinced it was hers i had to check the credits. is just me???? — 𓍯ོ (@repxtile) March 7, 2025 How bad do u want me omg… Gaga said if Taylor isn't gonna drop reputation tv then I will — Anthony 👹 Lady Gaga News (@antpats2) March 6, 2025 First, Chappell releases 'My Kink Is Karma'Then, Gaga released 'How Bad Do U Want Me'The pop girls are reheating Taylor's nachos and throwing in some special seasoning to make them edible! — Michael. Well, sorry to any Swifties out there, but Billboard has now confirmed that it's not Taylor's voice you can hear on the backing vocals of How Bad Do U Want Me. Still, even Gaga herself has acknowledged the similarities between the song and Taylor's poppier offerings (going as far as reposting TikToks saying How Bad Do U Want Me had taken fans right back to the Eras Tour), leading to speculation that the pair could still be about to collaborate. One suggestion would be Taylor jumping on an official remix of How Bad Do U Want Me (which we'd be very much here for), while others claimed that it could be Gaga lending her voice to the long-awaited 'Taylor's Version' of Reputation. 'how bad do u want me' really seems to have potential to be a collab between Taylor and Gaga…the beginning sounds just like 'Gorgeous' from Rep and the backing vocals sound so much like Taylor and even the lyrics are very reminiscent…it's so Rep-coded but maybe i'm off base 👀 — gigi (@elegigiacl) March 9, 2025 The start of how bad do you want me by lady gaga sounds like gorgeous by Taylor Swift and I think that's ironic considering her album cover is the same shade of grey as reputation… lady gaga for #reputationtaylorsversion ????👀👀 — emi⭐️ (@0fJune) March 9, 2025 'how bad do u want me' really seems to have potential to be a collab between Taylor and Gaga…the beginning sounds just like 'Gorgeous' from Rep and the backing vocals sound so much like Taylor and even the lyrics are very reminiscent…it's so Rep-coded but maybe i'm off base 👀 — gigi (@elegigiacl) March 9, 2025 Gaga would fit so well on Reputation TV — MrK. 🪩🌕 🐍 SAW TAYLOR (@theswift_archer) March 8, 2025 The Official Charts Company reported on Sunday evening that Gaga is on track to secure three Mayhem cuts in the top 20 this week, including a new peak for Abracadabra at number two. Fans Are Convinced Taylor Swift Makes a Secret Appearance on Lady Gaga's ‘Mayhem'

Is Taylor Swift singing on Lady Gaga's new song 'How Bad Do U Want Me'? After the release of Gaga's seventh studio album, Mayhem, on Friday (March 7), fans quickly began to speculate that the 35-year-old pop superstar may have secretly contributed vocals to the project's ninth track, 'How Bad Do U Want Me.' More from Billboard Chappell Roan Thanks Lady Gaga for Grammy Speech Shout-Out: 'Love You + Your Album' Ariana Grande Teases 'Eternal Sunshine' Deluxe Edition With Fiery Video Clip The 1975 Quietly Drop 'Still... At Their Very Best' Live Album on Streaming Services & Vinyl After Glastonbury Announcement Although Swift is not credited on the dreamy tune, fans took to social media to share their theories. One user on X wrote, 'how bad do u want me being a straight up taylor swift song,' while another wondered, 'why was gaga playing in taylor's vault,' suggesting that the song could be part of the singer's unreleased music collection. On 'How Bad Do U Want Me,' which interpolates the 1982 song 'Only You' by Yazoo, Gaga moves away from the darker pop sounds featured on earlier Mayhem tracks. Instead, she embraces a sugary, '80s-inspired synth-pop sound, singing from the perspective of the 'bad girl' being loved by a man who typically prefers 'good girls.' Another fan on X suggested that Swift 'secretly wrote' the song, noting, 'the production? the vocal style? the lyrics?? it's screaming 2014-2019 Taylor so bad.' One fan chimed in, writing, 'I always hear Taylor when I listen to this song.' And another argued that it was 'clearly' Gaga singing on the track, but the comparisons to Swift's style persisted. Another X user shared a post combining Gaga's Mayhem cover with a photo from Swift's Reputation album shoot, writing, 'THERES TAYLOR SWIFT BACKGROUND VOCALS ON HOW BAD DO YOU WANT ME BY LADY GAGA #MAYHEM.' Another person agreed, adding, 'Wait, why does how bad do u want me by lady gaga sound like a taylor swift song??? i was so convinced it was hers i had to check the credits. is just me????' Despite the ongoing fan theories, sources confirmed to Rolling Stone that Swift does not appear on Gaga's 'How Bad Do U Want Me.' Billboard confirmed this and has reached out to Gaga's representatives for further comment. Mayhem arrives following a successful 2025 for Gaga, marked by her chart-topping collaboration with Bruno Mars, 'Die With a Smile.' The song reigned atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart for five weeks, making it her second-longest-running No. 1 hit after 2011's 'Born This Way.' Gaga also won a Grammy for best pop duo/group performance alongside Mars. Her new album features an eclectic mix of production collaborators, including Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and Gaga's fiancé, Michael Polansky. In a recent interview with Billboard, Gaga discussed the creative process behind Mayhem, explaining that the album's chaotic vibe was intentional. 'There have been times in my career where I had an idea in terms of how to conceptually approach a record. But I would say that this album, from start to finish, was like pieces coming together,' she said. 'I did not want to turn it into anything artificial, I really wanted to allow myself to just follow the music. By doing that, it started to slowly remind me of my earlier work.'
